CStand has a few years left before reaching his post-prime years. Pringle on the other hand has reached it already and he's injury prone. I will not be surprised if he will go to another team like Magnolia like you said, or even an MVP team like Meralco.

You may not think that they're not wise but that's how wise they are. Picking the better position of the next drafts and at the same time trading their old and aging players to the younger ones. I don't also watch PBA anymore but I keep myself updated with the drafts and trades and some results as well. Just today, there have been some trades also that had happened from North Port and Magnolia and another one with Ginebra respectively.

Gin kings is really doing a good decision for acquiring RJ Abarrientos since they would really have a great point guard with good basketball IQ also can contribute good for their team. We already see how good he is on KBL also his latest performance on SGA. So I will not get surprised if they San miguel or Gilas management is preparing him for Gilas since he deserve to get a slot on the national team since he can contribute a lot for the national team.

When I saw this news on Facebook, I was shocked as well because we often see him reporting on a popular news TV show when it comes to sports.
It's just sad to see one of the most active sports journalist passing away.

A good commentator indeed, but I know him for his good reporting since he's a journalist. He will be missed that's for sure by many people that are involved into sports. Condolence to him and his family.

IMO, he is still young, I mean he could have continue to do his job to give fun to the fans. But you know, life is really unpredictable, so we really have to be very taking care of our health. They say health is wealth, that's really important, it's okay to work hard but never ever miss to eat and exercise well so we will maintain a healthy body and mind.

Health is wealth indeed. I agree, Chino is still young as the average lifespan of Filipinos is i think 70 years old if i'm not mistaken. Life is so short that before we knew it someone we knew had passed away. What a sad news but anyways life must go on.

Very sad news. Chino Trinidad is very well respected and one of those real people that has concern in the Philippine sports. He's the one who spoke about the Gilas U17 roster. RIP Chino, I'll no longer hear your voice in your sports news report.

Possible if Al francis Chua will work on it, but as of this moment we can't tell if there's a plan for him to be trade again, both Him and Pringle needs to keep those numbers if they want to stay, I mean after being traded to a farm team most of the time the player start to decrease the value of his game or start to think leaving the league and play either overseas or to another league that will give him to showcase his talents.

Not sure what happened but I was in the impression that he will stay as Japeth might be in his retiring stage, we really can't say what players fate when trades take place.

Pringle getting traded is fine, but I think it's a big loss for Ginebra to trade C. Stand, as he has won championships with Ginebra already. However, I'm surprised by this trade; it seems like the PBA is trying to form a balanced league now, so C. Stand with this young team would help them grow. If I recall correctly, before a big man from Ginebra was also traded, Greg Slaughter, and after the trade, his interest in playing in the PBA was gone, and he chose to play overseas. This year he was back but already playing with the MPBL. I don't want that to happen to C. Stand.

However, related to the news, it seems like C. Stand was the one requesting for the trade, so I guess that's fine afterall.

Maybe 1-2 seasons only and then he'll get no more contract or should he stay, schools in NCAA or UAAP can get him as assistant coaching staff. There have been some mock drafts but I only see 12 drafts on them. I'm not sure which team is likely to pick him.
Anyway, Dwight Howard is in our country and I've seen some posts that his interest of joining a PBA team is still there. Come on, rich politicians and team owners, let Dwight bring back the interest of PBA fans. Tongue

Some retires early before they reach the age of 40, but this guy is nearing 40 and yet still wants to play with the PBA. This is a rare news but I like to see the PBA give him a chance, maybe play with a strong team so he'll win a championship, LOL.

Do you have an idea on what team he is playing with, and how he played? Sorry, I haven't made a lot of research about this guy, that's why I'm just asking.

I think it's easy to make them adapt to the style of CTC. What's important here is the NBA talent they have, as they would never be in the NBA if they weren't good. I can't imagine seeing both on the team; that would easily put our team in the top 10 in the worldwide ranking. But like you mentioned, it's the rules that don't allow them to join, so even if they are eager, it will still be unlikely to happen.

I think we need to develop a full-blooded Filipino to be an NBA player so out team will mprove more. The only one I can see now is Kai Sotto. I'm not sure why he didn't apply for the draft this year.

Yeah right, if we can develop a full blooded NBA star then we don't need to worry about the rules, though like you mentioned Kai is the one who's got that potential but he didn't apply though we don't know what his future plans but for sure he will not stop trying it, with how he impacted the OQT games I guess without any major injuries that will take place he can develop more on his talent, just need to work harder and build more muscles.. hehehe but kidding aside hopefully he'll be able to bring our flag as the first full blooded pinoy in the NBA.
