They need  to do that since making those big games available for people on out of the town may get back their interest to watch what PBA could offer to them. Also if they stay on their old venues then maybe they will not get much better result as they know the number of people still watching PBA live is declining so maybe they will be in huge shame if they can see that there's less people watching while they are heading to semis.

Yeah, they need to fnd ways to bring the interest of the fans, they can coordinate those games with politicians to sponsor the venue for sure it will bring decent exposures not just for the PBA itself but more for the politicians especially that the incoming election is nearing they will manifest for this kind of events, just sharing what I think will make someting possible for the league, we know by the fact that if there's organizers that will host the venues fans will be there and with how they doing now, they are bringing people to watch the live games and it makes it doable to have those old time and newcomers to have that support back for PBA.

They really don't have other choice but to do that since nothing will happen on a dying league if they will not out source it to other towns and its good that they think about this since for sure there would be a lot of gate attendance on the venue since even if we see that no one watching in their traditional venues still there are people who's willing to see their favorite player on those provinces. But I don't know if they can sustain this since what I think this will not give a long term solution in their drought. If the competition of PBA will still the same then maybe there would be a time that even if they do a out of town game again no one will watch them.

But also let see what will be the odds of this since we are not really so sure about that. I maybe think about betting on Ginebra if I have time but to watch their game online but if not maybe I will pass on it and just wat for finals since I don't have much huge interest on PBA since I don't find it interesting compare before where a lot of teams are so competitive.

Better to wait for the finals if you don't have that choice inside you, like you, my interest is no longer that much unlike before when real competitions are really being witness inside the court, sister teams mostly controlled by the owners, not just rumors but a reality that most fans doesn't like about the league.

Yeah I'm trying to watch how things will go with them on finals but if it happens that sister teams will face off then same as before I will still gonna pass this since we all know that this will be another scripted match.

Or hold it if we are not sure which team to beat. However, we can choose on the other alternatives like the total which is the under/over. I don't know if you will have fun just betting on the total but that's what I do when I can't choose on the teams that will play. This is game 7, if the last 3 games was very physical, I think it will be more in game 7 as it's the last game of the series, sort like championship game.

I think at this point we have to trust the team with the better coach, and obviously we are aware that Tim Cone is the better coach here, so trust this man as he brought us a championship in the Asian games.

Good point in that last statement, though even how good the coach it will be depends on how the squad will play the game, and like what you mentioned I also think that it will be more physical as how we are witnessing it from that last 3 previous games, Meralco manage to push the series to the final game 7 do-or-die, I guess that's something that fans will really love to watch as it's more on a championship type of a game compared to the finals that awaits, with SMB waiting to whoever will win from these series not to disrespect to whoever will win but the advantage of SMB squad is really by far.

That's a fair assessment, SMB really has a huge advantage to either of the teams playing in the semis. I guess that's the result of building a super team, the thrill in the game is lost because one team is too strong that can even sweep their opponent easily. I think the job here to make the Finals more exciting does not rely on the players or coach, it's on the refs, if you know what I'm saying.

By the way, just a little update on the point spread now.

Line is push to -4.5 from -3.5 for Ginebra and the total is now 173.5.

I don't think the odds will reach x5 either way (pre-live) as this match is almost even with bookies giving Ginebra the slight favorite of the match.

It's a first half/2nd half bet. You can see the actual odds once it's all available in here https://duelbits.com/sportsbook/basketball/match/50436103-Bolts-vs-Barangay-Ginebra...

Other sportsbooks may also have that kind of odds, I don't know what sportsbook you are using but just try to check it out. I just found that kind of betting when there's a posted that shared it here before, I could not remember the name but I was kinda intrigued with the odds as it's very attractive.

For example tomorrow on the NBA Finals,
https://duelbits.com/sportsbook/basketball/match/49324737-Minnesota-Timberwolves-vs-Dallas-Mavericks

if I will choose a halftime/full time bet  with Minnesota/Dallas, that would be x 9.60.

We all know many want Ginebra to win, but for the sake of the league it’s better if Meralco will take over the spot and proceed to the finals. Meralco should do everything to win because they already have a good chance and getting back into the finals is a big thing. Meralco vs SMB in the finals can finally change the scenario in PBA, and I bet for this to happen.

Not to take away the credit to Meralco Bolts but yeah they deserve to play in the Finals after playing good offense and defense against Ginebra and i don't know how the people (PBS fans in particular) would react in case the Bolts will take the final seat in the Finals, will they watch the SMB vs Meralco series? On the other hand, even if the stadium will not be fully filled but at least we would not see an all-smc team battling for the trophy this all-Filipino Cup.

What do we see during the last PBA finals between SMB vs Magnolia? People are not watching, right? Then I guess it's automatic that Ginebra will advance in the Finals, so they can sell seats as Ginebra has a huge fan based. I guess I'm taking value in this game, if they like to make it more exciting, they'll give the first half to the Bolts and Ginebra in the 2nd half, if that will happen, I can be happy taking the odds now which I think over x5,, (meralco/ginebra).

I like the new strategy of the commissioner's of bring the semis out-of-town, they don't just rely on the MOA or Araneta Coliseum, that's a good start for me. If Meralco will win the series against Ginebra then they can bring the venue of the Finals elsewhere like game 1 will be held in Batangas then game will be in Cebu hehe, that way they can attract people to watch Finals game.

It will be interesting if Gin kings loses game 6 and play again for the game 7 do-or-die match, though I have that feeling that they might push everything that they've got to win the game. It's a big risk if they give Bolts another chance as the team can snatch this series as how we watch the games previously, without the help of that loud voice of Al francis to the ref I think the series might be still in favor for the the Bolts, just kidding, but let see if what will happen for today's game, good luck to all those who already place their bets!
This is more like giving a PBA Finals feeling for me as the two teams are evenly matched. I also have a feeling that we might not see Ginebra vs. SMB in the Finals; it will be Meralco vs. SMB since they are not owned by the same company. The Bolts' defense has also improved, as they only allowed Ginebra to score 81 points. I think whoever gets into the PBA Finals and can limit SMB to scoring less than 90 points per game has a chance of winning, but if not, the opposite will happen.

Newsome struggled with his shooting but the clutch Free throws in the end that didn't give the Ginebra a chance to come back was huge, he didn't miss all 4 free throws so they keep the 2 position ball game within few seconds left only.

We are gonna fade the public this time, I'm sure everyone will backing the Ginebra in game 7. Honestly, I find the move very risky because Ginebra does win a game 7 most of the time, but that was the time when Brownlee was playing, here it's all Filipino cup, I don't know if they can still make it but with the support of the crowd in a Friday night, they might demonstrate the never say die attitude, so it's quite risky. I think I'll just go with the total, probably under.

Yeah most of the time Gin kings shows that never say attitude as they'll do everything to win it for the crowd,  though I can smell something might be cooking behind, the chance of seeing Meralco to the finals might bring competition but in the other hand, without Gin kings in the finals chances that fans might not also gain that interest hahaha I'm torn between my manipulative speculation against the reality that Meralco also deserves it if ever they managed to upset the Gin kings, and same with you I'll also be looking for another alternative and not to go with who will win between these two competing teams.

Watched the highlights and yeah, CStand was amazing with his jumpshots but couldn't hit high percentage on his free throws hehe.

C Stand has improve his game, he needed that mid range jumper so he can still get some points even not close to the paint. And yes, his problem really is the FT, it's very low, I think he should change his form as I believe that can be develop. In fact, I think Gobert was worst than him in terms of FT, but look at Gobert now, his FT percentage is very high, he knew how to do the right timing when throwing the ball. I hope to see C. Stand improve in the future as with his size and height, it would be easy for him to get fouled, so his FT is one of the best weapon.

It's Game 6 today. After two straight wins by the Gin Kings, I think it's time for the Meralco Bolts to bounce back and even the series. Game 7 this coming Friday would be fun since they can expect a big crowd, and of course, when there's a crowd, Ginebra is most likely to win the game.

Based on the current betting spread, Ginebra is -3.5, but I'll take the opposite side. Just in case the Wolves lose but the game is close, I think I'm still on the right side. The game will start at 7:30 PM, so we can definitely watch this game.

I want a game 7 as well so I also think that Meralco will come up victorious. They did that in 2 straight games, I don't think they can't do it again in a do or die game. This is still a very physical game for sure, but the key factor for Meralco is Allen Maliksi, if he is shooting well outside, then they have the edge over Ginebra who are not really a good 3 point shooters.

Based on the current betting spread, Ginebra is -3.5, but I'll take the opposite side. Just in case the Wolves lose but the game is close, I think I'm still on the right side. The game will start at 7:30 PM, so we can definitely watch this game.

It has moved a bit, I saw it moved to -4.5 but it's back to -3.5 now. Not sure what is the indication of that but it looks like the line movement is telling us that Ginebra will win. The under/over is currently 177.5, it's a bit higher compared to their production in the last 2 games, but I feel it's going to be over as long as Meralco will dictate.

That was really close for Ginebra backers as the spread closed at -4.5 and Ginebra didn't really dominate the game. They just came back after being down by double digits. The "never say die" attitude was on display once again, and it's a good thing C. Stand has a new trick up his sleeve. That mid-range jump shot was added and made him more deadly.

Also, Ahamnissi played great basketball. That was really good for Ginebra. However, I have a feeling that Game 6 will be Meralco's, and there will be a Game 7. In the Finals, it might be short, being dominated by SMB.

I never thought that my bet would still won because Ginebra played so lousy in the first half particularly in the second quarter, in fact i stop watching when the lead of the Bolts ballooned to double digits. Just got surprised when i saw the final score of 89-84 in favor of the Kings and the margin was enough to cover the spread.

Watched the highlights and yeah, CStand was amazing with his jumpshots but couldn't hit high percentage on his free throws hehe.

Most of the time when watching games and you've got some bets on it you lose interest when things seems not favoring your side, though it's really nice when the outcome brings you the win, hahaha, but kidding aside, it's something that you might think that Bolts already have that comfortable lead but Gin kings did not lose hope and with that good executions and defensive stop they manage to win and snatch the game and now leads from these series.

Again, Congrats kabayan!
