Wow, what a leap on the standings. China used to be the powerhouse in Asia now ranked 8th only, wonder what their feelings seeing the Philippines at the number 3 spot hehe.
To be honest, i do feel that this ranking will be short-live, i mean if Justine Brownlee and the likes of Fajardo would not play anymore on the national team, things will be different and Gilas might lose again to Jordan or China but i do hope that they can sustain this standing and the young guns of Gilas will continue to make our country proud.
I guess nothing more hateful feeling regarding on the developments gotten by Philippines but rather they would try to figure out on what's happening on their national team. They provably re-evaluate their programs since for dropping that bad on rankings which provably determine to do more better job on player scouting to present their country and possibly give them win on FIBA.
But anyways this is so good development since we could see now that Philippines basketball program is now doing so well and also the players are gaining fame on international scene especially Brownlee who got a lot of recognition which provably could help to get a better more career on basketball.
