They need to do that since making those big games available for people on out of the town may get back their interest to watch what PBA could offer to them. Also if they stay on their old venues then maybe they will not get much better result as they know the number of people still watching PBA live is declining so maybe they will be in huge shame if they can see that there's less people watching while they are heading to semis.
Yeah, they need to fnd ways to bring the interest of the fans, they can coordinate those games with politicians to sponsor the venue for sure it will bring decent exposures not just for the PBA itself but more for the politicians especially that the incoming election is nearing they will manifest for this kind of events, just sharing what I think will make someting possible for the league, we know by the fact that if there's organizers that will host the venues fans will be there and with how they doing now, they are bringing people to watch the live games and it makes it doable to have those old time and newcomers to have that support back for PBA.
They really don't have other choice but to do that since nothing will happen on a dying league if they will not out source it to other towns and its good that they think about this since for sure there would be a lot of gate attendance on the venue since even if we see that no one watching in their traditional venues still there are people who's willing to see their favorite player on those provinces. But I don't know if they can sustain this since what I think this will not give a long term solution in their drought. If the competition of PBA will still the same then maybe there would be a time that even if they do a out of town game again no one will watch them.
But also let see what will be the odds of this since we are not really so sure about that. I maybe think about betting on Ginebra if I have time but to watch their game online but if not maybe I will pass on it and just wat for finals since I don't have much huge interest on PBA since I don't find it interesting compare before where a lot of teams are so competitive.
Better to wait for the finals if you don't have that choice inside you, like you, my interest is no longer that much unlike before when real competitions are really being witness inside the court, sister teams mostly controlled by the owners, not just rumors but a reality that most fans doesn't like about the league.
Yeah I'm trying to watch how things will go with them on finals but if it happens that sister teams will face off then same as before I will still gonna pass this since we all know that this will be another scripted match.
