I remember the performance of Don Trollano, he was part of the big success of the TNT, I think his last season was when Jones has become an import of the TNT, I don't understand why TNT is shipping a defensive player, they should have keep them.

He's adding numbers and he really playing big before the trade happened, I guess if TnT didn't trade him up the chance of getting that season is really high, He have a good chemmistry with Jones and he's performing very well, but the decision still coming from the upper
hands and sending him away still a big question.

He's career now is already doomed with the blackwater, he'll be forgotten along the way either he retire earlier or injury will sit him down and exit from this league.

It turns out the trade of Vic Manuel to the Phoenix was a blessing in disguise for Brian Heruela to still stay in the PBA.

Here's the news that says about it.
Phoenix admits no plan to sign Brian Heruela prior to Alaska trade

Good for him, if his stay with Alaska is fruitful, then surely he will get a new contract, he still has a chance.

Cariaso is optimistic that Heruela would fit to the system of Alaska, they have a loaded backcourt but who knows if he can be a big contribution to the team. Here's the story.

Cariaso: Heruela could be ‘blessing in disguise’ at Alaska

Quote
But it remains to be seen how Heruela fits into Alaska’s system with the Aces already having a loaded backcourt.

The 31-year-old Heruela was a third-round pick by Blackwater in the 2014 PBA Draft, but despite being a late selection, Heruela emerged as one of the biggest steals in the draft.

He averaged 10.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.5 steals in 26 games during his first year with the Elite.

Hopefully he will show the same hardwork he did in his previous teams, if the management is happy, then we know he will stay.

Good news for Heruela too because he is still given a chance to play, it was published before that Phoenix hasn't sign him yet, I guess he was sign and later traded as well.

I do hope that's the case with Heruela but the last time i've heard about him is Phoenix did not offer him a contract and they can trade him because of "rights" issue, the same with Manuel.

Now, it's Alaska's turn if ever they want the service of Brian Heruela or not but there is a big possibility that they will sigh him because of how he performed last PBA bubble.

Heruela does fit with the system of Alaska, his defense is great and he can also produce points, I don't understand why TNT give him up to other team when TNT was lacking in terms of defense, I hope he'll get sign this player is so underrated.

That's how this league works, very unpredictable remember Don Trollano he's been shipped to Blackwater even he's performing. TNT gave him up  2 weeks before the upcoming playoff.

Talent who really contribute but since they still have Castro and Pugoy they keep dwelling to this two stars, same with Romeo they
also let him go when he started to perform while castro is injured. Lucky for Romeo he landed to a much better team and turned
he's career to the next level.

Do you guys have an idea who are those players that coach Topex Robinson is talking about at the end of this article? There will be some additions to their roster.

He is referring to the 7th pick in the draft that they got from Magnolia Hotshots in exchange for Abueva.

Coach Topex is very clear on his statement that he wanted a big man if there is available when it is their turn.

James Laput and Santi Santillan could be a boost to their roster if ever they still not drafted when Phoenix's turn comes.

This year's rookie draft is talent laden and it could be so very deep.

There is no confirmation whether he was sign already but I agree with you, Heruela does fit with Alaska's system, that's why he got traded and likely he will get signed because he was traded for Vic Manuel and that's a big trade. Let's continue monitoring on the PBA news, for sure there's additional news about this trade that is a good news for Heruela.

Neither do I, I thought Alaska would keep him but their decision was shocking.

I was still shocked on Calvin's trade, now this new one comes, I knew both of these are they are an Alaska Aces original and I hope they'll find a new home with their new team. With a lot of changes this season to come, I guess PBA will be more interesting to watch.
Yes! it is becoming more interesting. There's still more than one month to wait for the upcoming season and we'll see what other changes in the roster shall happen.
I'm just surprised to see about Manuel's trade, so all of those dramas before just got erased because of this trade.

I think wright want's out because they can't win championship, and failure of the team to land stars, they cant land a decent teammate for him, and also he think they can't make it to the championship with the rooster they have , with manuel addition he may be thinking twice, but they need another one star player to be a contender, with other team also gearing up for the crown.

No, it's not about Phoenix can't win a championship but if you were to follow what I have posted when Abueva was traded, you can take it as a reference. But there is other fresh news as well that circulated why Wright asks for trade although not official.

For me, these teams won on their respective trade;

Phoenix won on the trade with Abueva - this upcoming draft pick has several good role players on the list (there are news that they secure their future just in case the same Abueva case happen again)
Alaska won on the trade with Manuel (which in the first place, Manuel doesn't really want to play on Alaska)
Hotshots also won on the trade (in case Abueva won't do some sh*t on the way)

That's a huge risk for the Hotshots for sure because we never know if the Beast would go back to its old habit again but we do hope that it won't happen and i think Calvin realizes now that if he will help tow Magnolia to the championships, bonus money awaits for him.

It would be good also if Magnolia can secure Pascual so that the Pinatubo Trio will be reunited again and this time in the pro league, that will somewhat boost the energy of Ian and Calvin as their kababayan is in dire need of help at the moment.
They're putting the faith in him so I think that he'll look and won't break that faith of his new home. Sure, the bonus money would be with everyone of them and if he's the one with most contributions, he won't be ignored. Money is overflowing for each team with every victory they get.

It's official, Vic Manuel is already out of Alaska as he is now traded to Phoenix.

With the addition of Vic Manuel, I think Wright will change his mind on asking for a trade as their tandem is solid.

Alaska seems to be the in the losing end of this trade, big guy for a point guard.

Just like Calvin Abueva, Alaska uses the same strategy, they sign him and later traded, I think it's a good idea because Manuel showed his intent to be out on the team, it's probably a win-win situation for the team and Phoenix is once again a good team because they have Manuel which is also good like Calvin.

He needs a good adviser to tell him the consequences once he break the league's rules again.

Knowing SMC, they are strict to anyone even how big the name of the player is. They are even willing to trade big names as they want. So I'm sure Abueva will not do something stupid that can affect his career.

Also, as for Abueva, almost a year suspended, no need for an adviser as that's enough to learn his past mistake. And as seen in the bubble, he seems to be cool. Hopefully, that behavior will last. He should realize how pain in his ass being under in a suspension for long.

It would be good also if Magnolia can secure Pascual so that the Pinatubo Trio will be reunited again and this time in the pro league,

And just to add that adjustments and chemistry shouldn't be a problem as they already know each other's play.

Magnolia knows they are taking the risk for getting Calvin Abueva.

Magnolia coach Victolero says enigmatic Abueva is worth the risk

If they can utilize Calvin's talent very well, this should be a success for them.
Calvin will energize the team, and that's what the Magnolia team needs, so I agree that it's worth a risk.
I don't think that's even a risk for them. It's been know how good Abueva is, there's no doubt that he can showcase his talent with them.

New on Mark, still has not sign a contract yet.
AFAIK, he's about to retire.
