We are still gonna see these games in NLEX.

NLEX signs big men Quinahan, Soyud, Miranda to new contracts

Coach yeng really love to play with guys who really work hard, especially with Soyud, he has really improve as far as I can see.
Congratulations to them, hopefully NLEX will improve next season, coach has not been in the semis or finals anymore, I love to see him bring his team again.

Those big men are worth to sign as they are relly helping the team inside, they are not that star caliber but really trying their best
to work it out and play their role.

Seems that the badboy coach needs to go back and remember his old tactics or he needs to mixed things up with his squad.

Looking forward for this team if they'll show something interesting this coming
new season, as the competition is reallu tough from each franchise who are
aiming to win the title.

It actually takes time to build a team and to make it successful, in the bubble, this team surprised us, we thought they can easily be eliminated as they had a bad start but suddenly they played well, so I think they learn from that, they don't pressure themselves a lot and they just have to play like they are having fun, also coach Yeng for sure learn a lot in the bubble.

AFAIK, it's just another conference that we used to watch and not a new season. With still the numbers of active cases, we would likely still to see them on a bubble but if ever they decide to play on courts like Araneta, they'll just have to close it down for the audience/fans.

Guys, you might have some confusion. This year is a "new season". A season lasted a year with 3 conferences but since Covid-19 halted the last year's season (45th season) for 6 months, only the All-Filipino Cup was done.

If this year isn't a new season then the Commissioners Cup should be followed which is not possible for now because of imports and it shouldn't take 3 months to rest after the last conference.

The league even has a Rookie Draft in March so this year will be a new season, the "46th PBA season". Commissioners and Governors Cup are still in question depends on what will be the status of the pandemic here in the country.

I don't have a screen shot
I think you have, you have shared it above and maybe that's the screenshot that he mentioned.

So next by this April when PBA starts, is it a new conference of the new season, I heard people here talking about new season, probably because PBA's schedule was affected due to the pandemic, so this year will be a new season? I think Bisdak share some screenshot, so he probably know this too, will see his reply and those who are real enthusiast with the PBA.

I don't have a screen shot but i'm very very sure that when the PBA open up in April it would the the start of the 46th season and yes, it is the "First Conference" of the 46th season of the PBA and as i have posted above, the PBA commissioner is planning to have a two conference this season instead of the usual three conferences.

Before the opening night, there are lots of activities prior to that and one of them is the "Awards Night" this coming 17th of January via virtual. I feel that Calvin Abueva will finally get an award as he is second in SP for the BPC and the front-runner for the "Sportsman of the Year" award. Are you not excited for the tamed Beast?  Grin

Do you happen to know the name of the conference PBA will play when the season opened up?

It's All-Filipino Cup as it was always the first conference in a Season.

If the schedule will be followed without interruptions, the supposed opening date for the next conference, which is the Commissioners Cup is by July or August.

Maybe on that month, chances of imports to play in the country might now be allowed as we are even already open to foreigners prior to the new travel ban so I don't see any problems with that.

Yeah, there's also following the movement of NBA so the basic move that they might do next is to go back to the normal season. But still, that's undecided and we have to wait.
Thanks for the answer mate and also to those who have given some opinions and answers too about what I've asked.

According to the post I read here, the next season will start this April, there's still 3 months to wait before we will finally see PBA resume. Let's make an update of the news, maybe it will return by March or next month, at least we know.

Below are the key dates for the 46th PBA season minus the awarding night, don't know when they would award the Best Player of the Conference in the bubble. Three more months to go and we can see our dear PBA back in action again that if everything go smoothly as plan.

This is more detailed, thanks for posting as it benefits me knowing what are their schedules especially the opening night. That's just a quick time and most of the players can enjoy their time with their family or having already their training and practices.
Bubble or not, we're still here to support PBA.

It will be announced for sure, the association needs to comply with what the government will implement from the said time frame, they might be following the steps of NBA.

But it will continue to depends with how the ITF rules, they can't risk the health of all the parties involved including those excited fans that may take the risk of wathcing live events.

We should wait and see if what will be the final say with the organizers, PBA will resume
we jsut have to wait if what will be the setup.

Let's their injuries heal and be back to their shape, the long period of rest will give them enough time to be back in share and more healthy as the PBA season starts. Do you happen to know the name of the conference PBA will play when the season opened up?

I have 95 percent confidence level that when PBA open up it would still be the "All Filipino Cup" considering that travel ban to and from some countries is still implemented thus prohibiting the imports to come to our country. It's the conference that SMB dominated for so long and they will take back the crown from the Kings.

Is the next season will still be in the bubble?

It has yet to be decided by the league. Maybe next month or after the PBA Rookie draft, we can get an update about it.

They are following the NBA's movement so maybe there will be no bubble set up anymore but just a strict health protocol again and the usual, with no-audience.

There's a rumor that a top SMC official plans to create a second edition of a bubble and the setting is in Metro Manila, no confirmation on this one yet but most definitely we could still see a no-crowd PBA next season if a vaccine against COVID-19 is still not available.

Actually for me, what I see is not the original bubble before wherein players and staffs are stuck inside of it for long.

I mean still, a bubble, following strict health protocol for every game but all allowed people inside the bubble can now go outside and players are allowed to go home every after a game.

And if the vaccine will be made, I doubt all players will take those. Even I personally don't want to be vaccinated. Covid-19 is not dangerous for a healthy and fit person, especially athletes so it's a risk for me to take some dosage.

In addition to the rumor, commissioner Marcial is rolling out a plan to have a two-conference season this year.

I think there's already a vaccine, but question is, will the PBA willing to use these vaccine? I mean, they need to make sure that this work and no side effect, otherwise they'll doubt as it take a life.

If this City in Manila gives free vaccine to its people, I think PBA which is more capable to buy can have it anytime.

Makati gov’t announces free COVID-19 vaccine for ‘Makatizens’

That's the problem, there's no advise yet from the PBA's side about the vaccine, it's not hard for the team owners to provide this vaccine if the success rate is far high than risking a life.

There are rumors about this vaccine and for sure that are the things the association needs to talk over, it's life that might be compromised.

We all have to wait for further announcement regarding to what setup the league will be,
it will provide notice  to whatever plans the association will decide.
