For example, Kobe Paras is almost overqualified for becoming a PBA draftee but remains to play in the global league. After several years of training in the US, these type of players won't just accept the fact that they will instead land playing on the PBA. So to continue his goal, he will just play representing the country in international leagues. That's what I'm expecting too for Kai Sotto. He will not consider playing in PBA because of the pride but will play as a local squad in international competition for a much better impression. A good one as we need big man in international competition.
We don't know his plan yet, he has the height and the skills as well, I think he can develop himself as a player and he is still young so I think he has a good future ahead of him. I'm actually keeping my eye on Kai Sotto as lots of good video or article I read online and it's really hyping up the expectation of the people.
I believe that too! it won't stop there if in case he won't get the chance as early as now, he's young and he's skills are capable in developing more. If he will pursue his intentions to play inside NBA, playing in international league will exposed him more. I remember that there are offers for him that he's dad Ervin Sotto also considering in case his chance is not yet now for NBA.
He needs all the support from he's fellow kababayan, supporting him morally to desire more and do much deeper practices and conditioning in he's preparations for any international league and the NBA itself.
What I am seeing is people is really supporting him, he is hype because people wants to see him as the first NBA player in the Philippines. Imagine that, it will bring the Philippines in the map of basketball sports especially if Kai will soon play as one of the starters in whatever team would sign him.
It's a very big ambition but I hope he will dream big.
