Let's stop this debate, we will see what would happen when PBA will start a new conference.

I'm not so familiar with the list of conferences but I believe only one conference where there's no import and that was the recently concluded conference, so what conference will be next, what its called and where there will be imports already? are they allowed to travel already?

Searching information from these sites (https://pba.ph/ and https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba?ref=nav_link), but could not find any information.

Good question, what might be the setup for this conference as we expect that import will be reinforcing each teams inside, are they allowed to travel now? possible if though as they can just follow those preventive protocols before joining the practice. In terms of which team will dominate it's too early for that.

There are lots of teams who also improved, waiting for good opportunities and show up in this following
conference, we can't tell it yet as everything depends from how the teams comes up during the games.

Just the way I expected, it seems like Stanley Pringle will win the best player of the conference, his been a big factor of the team, a go to guy that is reliable, that's why I want to see him win the best player in the bubble, I think it's his first time to win in all Filipino cup as the best player of the conference.

Good for him, all the nominees for the best player of the conference are lucky not to have Fajardo in the all Filipino Cup, but once Fajardo comes back, and he is still the same player, he will again dominate and will the best player awards, especially in the All Filipino Cup.
I like to agree with this. He will again dominate once he comes back but his team (SMB) needs reshuffling for the upcoming season therefor his performance might get affected as well and worst case is he will not be as dominate as he was because of his past injury. The starting 5 age average of SMB is around 30+ years and they are going older and older. I'm an SMB fan but the team needs to get some young players from different teams for their future too.

The age is one of the big factor but let's see for one conference that they will play with a complete line up, I hope they won't depreciate. The thing is, their life is easy with Fajardo as he always dominate the rebounding department so shooters from SMB can shoot 3 points with high confidence, and the ball movement is just simple, inside out and vice versa until they can find an open man.

I don't agree with that, this is the first time that I saw the SMB struggles, and that is not because of the age but because they don't have Fajardo, they missed their star player so they struggled. Have you remembered last 2016 when they are in the Finals and they were down 1-3? That was because Fajardo was injured but when he came back, they have a big run and win the championship.

https://www.rappler.com/sports/pba/san-miguel-wins-philippine-cup-2016

Therefore, that is my basis, it's not the age, it's only an excuse of an awful performance but they will come back.

I think Pringle will win as the best player in the Bubble, his team won the PBA Finals and he has been playing well. I'm not sure with the statistics but in terms of impact to the success of the team, I believe Pringle will win. My 1st runner up is Calvin Abueva, that's it.
I agree with this. The championship will have a huge impact in the voting of who will be the best player in the Bubble. In the first runner up though, I think that Parks will be a better choice than Abueva since he only played a few games.

Devance eager to surpass Reavis for most titles among active players

Quote
JOE Devance just won his 11th PBA championship and yet he can’t wait to get another one.

The 38-year-old big man vowed to win a couple of more titles as he looks forward to Barangay Ginebra’s campaign next season when the team defends its Philippine Cup title.

“I didn’t think I’m going to get as many championships as I have. But it means so much to me, the career that I have, the support that I have, the teammates, coaches, fans, family. It’s just a great experience that I’m super blessed and super thankful.

“I’ll be back for sure next conference.”

They've won already, they have a solid team with Stanley Pringle, so I guess it's possible, however, I'm thinking that it will not be easy for them once SMB will come back with a complete squad as Fajardo is really a big problem for every teams in the PBA.

Still, I'm happy to read this kind of report as old players trying to stay fit to last in the PBA to achieved something, good luck to him.

He's ability to adjust and play when th team needed him is really simply amazing, coach Tim together with his teammates knows his value and having him is just a normal thing for them, he can defend and he can deliver points, I really like him as he knows how to adjust from time to time.

With next season, it's true that once SMB got everyone back and healthy it's a big problem to any team who are
trying to win a title, but who knows, as we already seen BGSM played this last bubble they really knows how to
move the ball well.

If the Gin Kings will be crowned champion, my vote for the Final's MVP goes to LA Tenorio.
I'm also shipping for LA to be the finals MVP but still that's not for us to decide. But if he does, then that will make us proud who shipped for him to receive the title for this PBAs first bubble conference.
Later, we'll see if it's the final game or there will be a followed up game or it will end 4-1 for the Gin Kings. Who's eyeing for a 3-2?
Well then, the series has ended and congratulations to the Gin Kings, and this eyeing for LA Tenorio as the finals MVP has happened.  Smiley

It's been announced that he was the Finals MVP and its his first win in the all Filipino Cup.
At 36 years old, still playing at its best, we can still expect more from him and him being the PG of the Ginebra Gins is making the team better.

Still no news for what's next on this successful bubble?

I did not expect to see a PBA thread within the gambling sections but thankfully I found out about this just recently. I was just recently just using local gambling availability like "Endings" and now I can bet using Cryptocurrencies.

Congrats to the recently crowned Champions of the PBA!

Glad to see new face here, what crypto betting sites are you using?

If the competition is solely based on their stats in the conference, the top 3 are.

1-J Perez
2-M. Wright
3-B. Parks

As per the usual criteria when choosing the BPC: (Wiki is outdated but it confirms here that the ff: are still the criterias).

40% average statistical points
30% press and media votes
25% players' votes

The BPC for the bubble conference is a special award so I'm not sure if they will follow the same criteria.

Thanks for sharing man, I'm not aware with that breakdown, I was thinking choosing the MVP or best player comes with a simple criteria, so I think those stats  are only 40% and the top 3 is on the lead.

For press and media votes, I think Calvin Abueva will win this one.
players' votes = uncertain.

Commissioner's Office- this one too.

I believe we have a lot of gamblers in the forum who loves Philippines Basketball particularly PBA, that's why I'm bringing this outside the local.

Let's discuss the current events, news, and the games here. You may also share you bets here if you want to help fellow gamblers to win or ask some opinion from our fellow gamblers here.

The PBA has a short conference only but they also have short break, so if we are betting often in this games, we can easily familiarize the teams since there are only few teams compared to the NBA.

Hopefully we can make a good and helpful discussion in this thread.

Since the bubble is over, who do you think will win the best player in the bubble?

My vote goes to Calvin Abueva, needless to expound more on why. Cool

So it should be one of them, but who knows Abueva might be a surprise because he was also doing pretty well, a double double machine.

Cone hopes to have Slaughter, Caguioa, Devance back in 2021

What do you think guys, is it possible to see Slaughter back with the Ginebra line up?
It seems like Slaughter is still getting in touch with the team as he even congratulate the team for the win.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/greg-slaughter-congratulates-barangay-ginebra-via-twitter-a795-20201209?ref=feed_1_section

Me, personally think that Ginebra wants to have Greg on their roster only to be traded for Cstand. The Gin Kings have aleady proven that they can win a championship even without Greg Slaughter on their line-up and no one can argue that. Though i think that Tim Cone wants to have Greg back but the final decision is up to the management, c/o Alfrancis Chua and we all know that sometimes this guy makes a harsh decision.

That is a tricky game by Ginebra if they will get back Greg Slaughter just to trade him for C. Stand, I wonder how the big guy would feel about that. I think he already know this and he might have a heart to heart talk with the management before signing a contract, besides, all these are just rumors.

All trades are rumors before they happened  Grin.

CStand is one hell of a player and how could SMB just let go of him without any purpose. Slaughter is deteriorating and it showed this last season and the trade involving him is inevitable and he knows this that is why he opted to go to the US. My fearless forecast is that Standhardinger would in the SMB francise, either Ginebra or Magnolia.

If I'm Slaughter, it would be just better if I will just find another team to play with instead of me being using as a tool for trade.

As a Ginebra fan, Slaughter wouldn't feel good if he will return to the team and in the end he will just be used as a trade tool to get another good Center like in this rumor. Well, this is just rumors in the end and I don't think that the NP management has interest in getting Slaughter too since they know that CStand is a better center and more athletic than Slaughter but we don't know. We've seen unexpected trades in the past in the league Cheesy.

He might not be traded, who knows, C. Stand is good but they already have Japeth who has improve a lot and I think the height of Slaughter is more useful than of C. Stand and since only Slaughter can stop or limit Fajardo, they have a good chance to beat their sister team.

P.S. It would be better too if the OP will chance the title since we are near the end of 2020 already Smiley.
Maybe I'll shoot him a PM, in case he will not see this, next conference will be in 2021, so we are 2 years late in editing already. haha
