Me, personally think that Ginebra wants to have Greg on their roster only to be traded for Cstand. The Gin Kings have aleady proven that they can win a championship even without Greg Slaughter on their line-up and no one can argue that. Though i think that Tim Cone wants to have Greg back but the final decision is up to the management, c/o Alfrancis Chua and we all know that sometimes this guy makes a harsh decision.

Is the rumor about that is true? That Slaughter to CStand has never been proved to be true. But same with you, I'm also with the impression of that why Greg decided to finish his contract.

But come to think of it, if Greg will sign a new contract (if BGSM still considers signing him) then he can take look at the new details including the part wherein he can't be traded. Since that will be a fresh contract, there would be a new and fresh term (player protection) instead of his old contract that he will just re-sign.

Cone hopes to have Slaughter, Caguioa, Devance back in 2021

What do you think guys, is it possible to see Slaughter back with the Ginebra line up?
It seems like Slaughter is still getting in touch with the team as he even congratulate the team for the win.

That is a tricky game by Ginebra if they will get back Greg Slaughter just to trade him for C. Stand, I wonder how the big guy would feel about that. I think he already know this and he might have a heart to heart talk with the management before signing a contract, besides, all these are just rumors.
Ginebra is preparing for a more serious game in the next season.

One simple thing that could change the rumor into the final signing of the contract, the management team will offer a big payout for this big guy if they are wanted to keep it on their roster for the next season. Of course, I will, not only about money but knowing the Ginebra team, something to be proud of being a part of that them when you are in PBA.

That would be big if that will come into reality, getting a better Slaughter since he was training in the US would be a boost to the team's defense and offense and they can be fully prepared as Fajardo might be able to play in the next conference.

He is already done for Ginebra maybe right now he is on another track of his career as a pro basketball player. I remember seeing him play when I was a teenager he is skillful and can do his thing on the court. he is such a secret weapon for Ginebra, I'm also hoping for his return and will unite with the legend Mark Caguioa.

@bisdak40, I received your message, segwit btc address has been sent.

I was quite busy in the past few days, I even missed this game but I'm happy Ginebra able to finish the series early.
Now that the PBA conference is over, we will look for the new conference and wait what's going to be the set up.

I think it's not a bubble set up anymore.

@Finestream, I will take the other half (BTC0.005), TNT here to win in the Finals.

sending you btc address too. Thanks.

Noted, I received your btc address, thanks for the nice game though my team loss.  Grin

Though with a heavy heart, lol....I would like to say congratulations to the Ginebra San Miguel, Tenorio as the MVP is another success for LA.
I heard it's his first all Filipino cup championship and his first Finals MVP, so it's a double celebration for him, he will not be retiring soon for sure.

Congrats Ginebra and backers, it was a well played series, their roster really made some great defense especially in the winning time, and that is the lacking part of the TNT that hopefully they can improve next conference. Pogoy earn the spotlight this conference although his team lose, both players Pogoy and Ray Parks are good scorers but they need to blend well in order for the team to be effective.

Maybe next conference if we have the vaccine, and Fajardo will be back, SMB might give the depending champion some trouble.

According to Coach Leo Austria, the aging of most SMB players is one of the reasons why they weren't able to compete in this All-Filipino. LOL isn't it? It's like Coach Leo just admitted the SMB is trash without Fajardo. If that his mindset then this team, even with Fajardo, is still nothing next conference.

But looking at the positive side, SMB still has lots of caliber players compare to other teams. With Fajardo's possible return next conference, they might reign again the All-Filipino Conference.
In short, SMB depends in Junemar. Without his presence, San Miguel can't go further in series. What Coach Leo said seems to be disappointed for a fan of SMB like me. He totally depends with his players, a coach should always find a way to improve other player skill and game.

Btw, congratulations to BGSM. They get what they deserve to have. Its just being normal to me to see this team again in finals. I hope in the next seasons, we will see new faces holding the trophy in finals. There is no thrill anymore if the team is consecutively win the every series.P. S. I'm not a hater of ginebra.

It's just coach Austria's alibi on why they did not make it to the semis lol. Coach Austria's strength as we all know is Fajardo and without this gentle giant, Coach Austria's stay as SMB's head coach won't be long and we should also give credit to him for unleashing the Kraken in Fajardo.

Congratulations to all Gin Kings backers, have fun and enjoy your winnings  Grin.

Another SMB team got the trophy this season which most of us here in the forum does not like lol but Coach Cone is just so brilliant of a coach that i think Columbian Dyip would be champion if he will take over.

I just about to place a bet for TNT but my entire yesterday was spent on the bed because of a hangover lol.

Congrats to BGSM. The series just didn't go to close as everyone is expecting. TNT fell out short. They can keep up with Ginebra's phase until the momentum got destroyed in the 4th quarter. Lots of wasted attempts in the 4th including the lack of aggressiveness in the defensive rebound.

Finals MVP is the subject of concern by the others. LA got even surprised when being called his name. He is lucky, coming from a serious operation because of the injury prior to entering the bubble and then still able to play at his best.

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel did it! Congrats to all BGSM fans and betters. As the team manifested determination, many are also praising coach Tim Cone and is now called the winningest coach in the rich history of BGSM.

According to coaching Yeng who was one of the commentator of tonight's game, Ginebra was like winning a grand slam because it's the only conference in the year 2020, and it's kinda unique conference. Maybe next conference if we have the vaccine, and Fajardo will be back, SMB might give the depending champion some trouble. Anyway, let's give this moment to them, I have a high respect for this team, but I'm still with SMB with Fajardo.

End of the first half and the score is 38-36 in favor of the Gin Kings but still it's a manageable deficit for the Katropa and if they manage to keep this close until the fourth quarter, they still have a chance to grab this one.

Whatever may happen to tonight's game, i'm ready  Smiley.

If the Gin Kings will be crowned champion, my vote for the Final's MVP goes to LA Tenorio.
I'm also shipping for LA to be the finals MVP but still that's not for us to decide. But if he does, then that will make us proud who shipped for him to receive the title for this PBAs first bubble conference.
Later, we'll see if it's the final game or there will be a followed up game or it will end 4-1 for the Gin Kings. Who's eyeing for a 3-2?

Very possible for LA as his leadership really dependable from this final series, Not just for directing the game but also helping to produced quality points to keep them at top. But whoever declared as final MVP that player deserves the award especially if Ginebra take this game today and win this game 5.

Very tempting handicap -4.5 @ 1.85 Castro and Parks less TnT, if the same momentum for Gin kings this
will be over for Batang Giga.

Betting odds are as follows.

TNT 2.36 and Ginebra 1.60
TNT +4 and Ginebra -4
