It's just an assumption behind the reason for their unpreparedness to play for their country, but in fact Argentina have not been lucky to be in the previous world cup, so Leonel Messi is in the spotlight because of his personal qualities, both when he is at the club and playing for his country, football is also not a matter of luck, but how the players and coaches can work together collectively, this is what I don't think they have, so they can't beat the world cup stage, so the trophy is very difficult for them to win, for the future the last world cup for Leonel Messi, this will be the event the final proof for the megastar
The final proof for the megastar does need to be awaited, but I'm not sure that Leonel Messi still has the ability to do that because to take the world cup trophy really requires good cooperation between players and coaches as you have said so that really needs to be highlighted It's a collaboration thing, not just for someone like Leonel Messi.

This year world cup will be more interested. It will be fun. I also like Italy and Germany. In 2015 world cup, I really enjoyed Italy Marches. But football is a game of luck in which one can not predict the accurate scores of the marches but a guest work is always done to win bet. Let us see what will happen in November this year.
The first thing I want to see is which country will be the dark horse and surprise in this World Cup event. The country of the dark horse always has its own charm, and it's not uncommon for new players to appear and attract teams from various popular Leagues. The rest I will watch the game of the player who will end his career (Last World Cup).

This also applies to the squad of any country that will compete later, no one can guarantee to win the world cup tournament in Qatar.
messi, he does not guarantee that he and his team will win the title this time. at least he still wants to try as much as possible to present the world cup title one last time in transition to retirement for his country.
regardless that they can achieve it or fail halfway.
I am optimistic that Messi and the Argentina squad will work very hard and give their best. even though messi is not playing in his best performance at psg but in the world of football everything can happen unexpectedly as well as other squads that will compete later in the world cup qatar all have hopes and opportunities.
only a few months away we will know later after the match is held.

As much as I want to see Lionel Messi winning the World Cup, I don’t think it is going to be a reality. This is because he is one of the most talented players in the world. But he really shines in the Barcelona style of football. I don’t think Argentina has adapted to that style of play at all. It is really challenging to imagine Lionel Messi also just carrying his team on his back and winning the World Cup at this age. I am also willing to say that the Argentina squad is not the sexiest coming into the World Cup.

of course you have the right to say that, regardless of the opinion this discussion is about. whoever he will compete in this tournament, will give his best for his country.
if you refer to the comparison of barcelona and argentina i don't think this is relevant because every coach has a different strategy, and it's not only messi who plays but there are other players who complement the squad in the team and they will work together to make dreams come true  achieve the title of champion.

most of us only see one big star figure and put the burden of responsibility on his back, in this case Argentina, even though there are several players who have the same talent as the players who will compete later.
I hope many Argentina coaches can find the right formula and strategy to win this championship.

Whereas, with PSG he was still good, I mean he is Messi after all, but not at the level we expected, because he didn't play like Messi should play, and that type of tactical changes are not that easy for players to adjust to.

What is the level you expected from Messi?
We're talking about a player who, like Cristiano Ronaldo, is almost retiring.... you can't expect him to have the same performance he's had since he joined PSG.
Messi will play in the fifth World Cup, how many players have already achieved this feat? Unlike the last World Cup he played, in which he ended up playing "against the coach", Messi and coach Lionel Scaloni get along very well and should create a very strong team... just not stronger than Brazil, which will win this cup Cool
I wonder why most of them want the same performance when in reality, Messi himself is a human being whose age is no longer as prime as he was when he was young. As we get older, I think we have to accept the qualities that Messi still has for club and national team, Messi is still a needed player because his contribution to the team will certainly greatly affect the performance of the team as a whole. It's just that not many of us can accept that because they want a great performance such as in scoring goals, speed and agility in Messi, until finally feeling disappointed because it doesn't live up to expectations.

The simplest example that refutes all historical patterns is the Spanish national team, which literally in 4 years (2008-2012) turned from losers into kings. There is no reason to believe that one day England will not find its fortune. As for Germany, I would say that this is one of the most "team" teams imaginable, it's just that in recent years their level has fallen below the usual.

It is difficult to have any trust on Germany, after their pathetic loss to North Macedonia early during the UEFA qualifiers. It is not just the fact that they got defeated against a team that is ranked much below them. For much of the match, the Macedonians dominated them. Goran Pandev was in the Macedonian squad for that match. Feels bad about him, because he is one of the legends who never get a chance to play in the world cup. His case is similar to that of Gareth Bale. Bale will be participating in the world cup for the first time in 2022, but Pandev is already 39 years old and he will never get a chance.

Messi is such an experienced player, and I don't think that it will be a big task for him to get adjusted to new surroundings. He has played all over the world and is pretty informative about the European leagues. At the most he may face some issues related to language, and that is all. But then, Paris Saint-Germain is a star studded team with players from all over the world including Latin America. Also, they have a few other Argentine players such as Leandro Paredes and Mauro Icardi in addition to Lionel Messi.
It's true, any great player still needs time to adapt to his new team. But the problem with Messi at Paris Saint Germain is not that in my opinion, but the strategy used may have been different when he was at Barcelona. In addition, the number of star-labeled players will also affect individual performance, it can be said that the chemistry between them is difficult to create.
I agree, it is not about chemistry, he could play with the roster very well and I do not think that he would have any problem, we have seen season in and out that he played with different players in Barcelona and still had success, or we have seen him play with Argentina and different teams and he was good with them. He played with different players slow by slow instead of all in once but he did and he had success with all of them one way or another.

Whereas, with PSG he was still good, I mean he is Messi after all, but not at the level we expected, because he didn't play like Messi should play, and that type of tactical changes are not that easy for players to adjust to.

I don't think that England has any chances this time. Historically, their performance in world cup has been below the expectations. They have some of the best players in the world, but team cohesion and bonding is lacking. And the same can be said about some of the other UEFA teams, such as Germany and France. And that is where the Latin American teams (Brazil and Argentina) are having an advantage. Italy is one of the European sides with good team bonding. But as we know, they failed to qualify this time.

The quality between league 1 and La Liga was almost the same.  The problem is if messi needs to adapt with the new environtment, new gameplay and new people. It takes some time and it's impossible to be done in a short time. So many players have proven that when he played at their old team didn't mean if those players can play good or better in the new club. This will be giving a huge pressure for messi. i do believe if he can play good with his country.

I like your words, football is also not a matter of luck.

the collectivity of players on a team is an important reference in football, as a team they must play hand in hand working together to create a win both in tournament competitions or in league matches.

regarding messi, i think messi has given his best game in every international match however, messi is very unlucky to be able to lift the world cup trophy.
I remember in the 2014 Argentina vs Germany final, Messi's performance was so brilliant against Germany but luck was not on his side until Argentina lost 0-1 to Germany.

departing from the CONMEBOL champions yesterday I think messi and the argentina squad have the potential to win the Qatar 2022 world cup trophy and will be the last match for him in his world cup career.

He was even determined when it came to his country.
But the problem in this case will be a bit difficult because he still seems to be playing alone later considering sometimes with things like being focused like this apart from being unsure of his partner it also becomes quite bad because he seems to be fighting alone.
Their country never loses good players and has big names there but things like this will not be suitable if all eyes are only on Messi.
Argentina have great players who are able to play collectively together with Messi, but because the mix in the squad is not achieved, so Messi seems to be fighting for himself for his country, this is due to the time together, not enough training and coupled with the coach's strategy which may not suit his style. every player

I don't think this is the right reason because other national teams are also the same, especially with players who have important roles in clubs and have busy schedules.
I think this is just an excuse that feels contrived.

They weren't very lucky when they were in the world cup stage so they couldn't do much there.

It is true that when Messi was at Barcelona, he had better quality in his game, compared to what he has done at PSG. On the other hand, he in the Argentina national team has been doing much better than he was before. It's clear that he has been much more focused on playing for his country, and determined to do his best. So I believe that in this Worlds he will try to be in the best possible shape.
Have different quality between La Liga and Ligue 1 why make Lionel Messi have under performance last one season, I think with Barcelona and playing on La Liga most competitive league because have Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Sociedad and many club with good level. Different atmosphere when Lionel Messi playing for PSG on Ligue 1, there are not any team with the same financial with PSG and almost all participant on Ligue 1 have lower budget for financial and active on window transfer, I think Ligue 1 not any competitive team for PSG because Marseille or AS Monaco under level from PSG.

Have been long time England not get World Cup trophy and last time edition just finish on fourth position after defeated by Belgium on third place, I think not bad achievement by England on World  Cup edition because they have failed early before World Cup 2018. But vote England as favorite 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar not really happen because looking player composition not support will  England can be the champion on this World Cup time. But I still hope England can get World Cup trophy because last time on 1966 is the moment for England get World Cup trophy and more than 50 years can't get trophy yet.

There is definitely a difference when it comes to playing for club and country. Not that they are unprofessional but if they are at the end of their careers surely they are more willing to do more for their country. Moreover, this is likely to be the last World Cup for several star players, one of which is Messi.
Apart from all that, we will watch the game of the players who are now old. It's very sad.

I have noticed this pattern. During the younger years, players tend to give more importance to their club side. But during the later years, they give more preference to national duty. Messi for his part have never been a part of the world cup winning team and that is why he want Argentina to lift the trophy this time. The same can be said about Ronaldo as well. And this is going to be the last chance for both these players. No matter how many competitions they win for their club side, none of that can match the world cup win.
I don't agree with you, because I think footballers will do everything in their power to play both for the club and for the national team, the reason many players are playing well in the league is not because of the salary they get from the club, but many of them continue to perform well in order can to join the national team, maybe the club does provide all the needs needed by the players but  the pride and patriotism to play for the country cannot be measured by money and I think if there are players who are able to contribute greatly to bringing their country to world cup champions then it will be become the greatest pride in his football career later better than the achievement of the trophy he got while playing at the club.

I don’t know which particular player’s made you think that, because each and every player I know gives their 100% while playing in important international matches. Furthermore look at Bale who was playing at Real Madrid, but he yet decided to prioritise Wales over the club and that shows how much player’s love playing for their countries.

The winner of the world cup this year is unpredictable, many people are not mentioning England, but i think they also have a chnace, i can see them making it to the semi-final or final, and there is no reason to say they can't achieve that, they have so much quality in the team, it is up to the manager to utilize that now.

It is a great achievement for a footballer to represent their country, you are correct, i do not think there is a footballer who doesn't take pride in playing for their country, and to go on to win a national trophy carries national honors for the players, and it is something to be proud of, Messi had won everything he could win in club football, but until he won the coppa America with Argentina he didn't feel complete, his joy on the day Argentina won that trophy was very evident, it shows how important a national trophy is to players.
