A lot of people are talking about the problems that can be caused by the introduction of technology, VAR. Obviously, this will be a massive improvement for football. It is actually really comforting to know that there are not going to be many wrong decisions taken at all. We have seen how wrong decisions can affect a match. But refs are humans too. And to err is human. Technology is the way to fix these problems. We have seen a lot of controversial decisions taken in football, including a goal scored with a hand, literally. So it would be really encouraging to see teams treated with justice.
When it was first introduced, many did not agree with the presence of VAR, apart from stopping the rhythm of the match and decreasing the tension in the match. But over time now there are many advantages to using VAR, although sometimes there are some refereeing decisions that still have to be questioned. For example, not all refereeing violations see VAR and this has sparked a bit of controversy. Hopefully in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar the use of VAR will have a pretty good impact, don't make the match stop for a long time and the referee can make a decision as soon as possible.

If you end up being better than the opponent, you will still win the matches. Even because of a wrong decision by the referee. You see top teams make the difference in that, they don't need VAR to win matches. The World Cup is also getting closer and closer, after the summer holidays there are still a few matches for the Nations League in preparation and then we can start counting down.

Are you sure about this? There have been many examples in history when a referee's mistake affected the game very much and as a result, a stronger team was eliminated from the tournament. Other than that, it's obvious that there's a difference between simply being stronger than your opponent or being much stronger than your opponent in order to beat him when the referee errs in his favor. Who needs such stress?
Many a time this happens the referee are unable to make the right decision.
But the good thing is there are neutral umpires in many sports and that make a game very easy - also in football 4th referee or video assistance referee plays a vital role too.

I do know what's your point but you can imagine that sometime when referee was making a mistake and that can also give a very bad impact to the team. The mentality will be also affected caused by referee mistakenly deciding wrong decision. The game must be fair for anyteam.
I support the development of the tech but again we didn't need complicated tech. Just simple tech with very very good accuracy that can help referee to decide the decision even faster with high accuracy.

I don't think the team that is better than the opponent is always the team that can win the game. Because many teams also win because their luck is great. Yes it can not be separated from the world of football, it will always be side by side. But strangely many also mock, they will say "win by luck". Though apart from luck there is a hard effort they do.

Personally, I think that VAR technology has brought more benefits than harm to football. Of course, VAR is only technology, and a person must analyze and interpret the information received and make a final decision, given that it is impossible to predict all situations in football. Football players work very hard to achieve success in football, they wait 4 years for the world championship and it is really not fair that one wrong decision of the referee takes away their right to success. Football is an increasingly fast game, sometimes millimeters or fractions of a second are decisive, and it is very difficult for the referee to see everything accurately and make the right decision at a moment's notice.
In the history of football, we have a lot of controversial decisions. If VAR technology had existed in 1966, England would probably never have been world champions in football. This is a situation that is still being talked about today, more than half a century later.
Since you are talking about the VAR, I find it useful but quite annoying and it made waste of time even worse in football.. Many rules should be changed to make it better.
The main referee shouldn't stop the game and watch the reply over and over, it is up to the referees in the room or he should stop the timer just like handball and basketball and do whatever he wants, preferably without taking much time.
Imagine if we have many ambiguous situations in World Cup games and like 5-6 VAR in a match, this will literally kill the fun and make it a very bad game.

I agree that it would not be good if technology is used too much in football, and that because of the watching videos of controversial situations referee stops the game too often.
The right balance needs to be found between the requirement for non-interruption of the game and the checking of possible serious mistakes by the referees that directly affect the result of the match.
After all, don't we have a cooling break lately, when the matches are played in high heat and in difficult conditions, so that the players can refresh themselves and rest?
Personally, I think that the staff in the VAR rooms should not react to every suspicious situation in the match, but only when there is a high probability that a serious refereeing error has occurred that directly affects the result.

It will be like that, VAR will be very helpful for the referee on the field in certain situations. But it comes back to the main problem, which is using VAR itself. Don't let the use of VAR end up being a new controversial one. As a connoisseur of football, of course, I personally will support all the progress.
During the game, a referee some times cannot give the right decision as a result the mistake becomes contradictory. VAR is an important issue in such problems. Who helps to point out what is happen really in the field. Now VAR is an important things to play any match or tournament. It is now used in all kinds of international games. We have already heard that automated offside technology will be used in the Qatar World Cup. Which will make the game more clear to the viewers.
Even use of technology is good thing but still we need some good transparency for this as well VAR is also not perfect and for better use of this we need a referee and another one who can give his opinion very quickly to on ground referee instead of ground go and check replays about his decision here but before any final announcement they both consult and then announces may be this give some better result even having some hassle and extra specialist referee but for avoiding mistakes we need these things otherwise going without this all technology is also having good results for many decades.

But, as many already having their concerns about few decisions like offside then surely they can go for on VAR and then give their decision but for me as we already have three referees it's going okay for all parties.

The VAR will certainly be used at the world championship in Qatar. The VAR should be a great added value, but there too it is the interpretation of how a referee and his assistant view a situation. You don't always have written rules for situations, even with a penalty for example. 50% of the VAR would give him and 50% would not. Honesty and accuracy is not guaranteed with the VAR and that is the main problem.
Despite everything, I think that the VAR will have a great added value at the World Cup.

This latest technology is claimed to be more accurate in monitoring offside violations in a match and this latest technology will replace the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
It isn't going to replace var, they will both be used in this world cup. Could you probably be predicting it will replace var in the future, if that is what you meant, i don't wish the same, i can only hope this ends with the world cup, it should not be brought into our leagues, var has already made football slower and a little bit boring sometimes, i hope we only have to deal with it, and not another technological inclusion to football.
Even when using both, one of them would be to make sure that offside wouldn't happen anymore, and everyone could make sure things are smooth, while the other one would be used to repeat the action and see if it was a correct one or not. I mean think about it, if the goalkeeper touched the striker and that's why it's a penalty, or didn't touch?

This has nothing to do with the new tech, but it has everything to do with VAR,, and that is why we are going to see both of them at the same time. Hopefully we are going to end up seeing plenty more people who will understand the difference between the two, and this will definitely a good testing ground and spread to every other league if it works well.

The video assistant referee (VAR) has been updated with (SOAD) semi-automated offside technology.
This latest technology is claimed to be more accurate in monitoring offside violations in a match and this latest technology will replace the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

The new system features 12 stadium cameras that will track the position of the ball and each individual player, including 29 different data points on each player's limbs and extremities.
SOAT will be used in celebration of the Qatar world cup tournament. despite the controversy that exists, the presence of this latest version of SOAT or VAR technology in the QATAR world cup is an interesting technological innovation in the world of football.

Yes, VAR will be used....

The big problem with VAR is not its accuracy, but the definition of clear HUMAN rules that say when it should be used, when the head referee should be called by the VAR team and in what situations this referee can or cannot accept a situation. presented by the VAR.

The main problem with VAR is still the human interpretation of when and how to apply the rules equally between all teams.

This is not a major issue. In cricket, it is the players who decide when to use the DRS (Decision Review System). In a match, each team has 2 chances when to take the DRS when they are not satisfied with the decision from the umpire (referee in football). But in football, it is the referee who decides when to use the VAR. Maybe they should give more power to the players instead. If the coach or the players are not satisfied with any of the decisions, then they should have the power to review that decision with the help from VAR.

Maybe accuracy isnt 100% like expected in some situations but its better with VAR them without it. The new thing that they added in the ball to detect automatic offside will be insane and i hope it will work. Still with VAR things need to be closely looked so there isnt any mistake.

We are in a generation where technology is taking over, simplifying life and making things easy for a better life. The introduction of the VAR to the football made it easy to detect mistakes in officiating and so far it has helped so much and we will be hopeful the introduction of automatic offside detection technology will also improve the game.
