Yes mostly of these airdrops are scams,that is why you should be more focused on bounty campaign instead because you can get profits out from bounties when you have picked good quality campaign,and you shouldnt be worried about these airdrops because you can earn a lot thru bounties,far way better than joining these free airdrops that isnt worth your time.
Not 99% of airdrops are scam but you can call them useless...As atleast 50% of airdrops never gets listed in exchanges and some which get listed in exchanges are so worth less that you may have to pay more gas fee than the actual amount of tokens to transfer them.
Yes. It is indeed true. Before, almost all of the airdrops are paying and legit but nowadays it seems like it has many fake airdrops rather than legit airdrops and that is why I chose to participate in bounty campaigns rather than participating in airdrops because it is just a waste of time now.
Yes, I agree with you. I've also been involved in some airdrops. I got some coins, but until now I can't find anywhere to trade them. It's a scam.
i can said not 99% but 75% airdrops is scammer, because i see my friend get a free coin in airdrops too. i really didnt like airdrops too because as long i follow airdrop no coin i get until now. so if you said 99% airdrop is scammer just in my opinion i agree with that
Yes most of the air drops are fake and even for those who give Airdrop, they are not of much use. But you get a few drops recently. For example, the airdrops from Havven gave me a token worth $ 140 so it was not bad. And you get a decent amount of about $ 15-20 for lots of Airdrop including ChainLink. Most of them are scams. The owners of the Airdrop project are thieves who are only interested in the donations they will get from unsuspecting hunters who will donate their hard ERE they claim to use.

Airdrop is free, just complete the simple task and wait for the coin. Currently, many scam projects so many airdrops have not received tokens. You are partly right,in this year too lot airdrops and too lot of newbies who want to make easy money.Before was a lot of nice airdrops i think.
i think just "dumb" people who expect too much for an airdrop , just do it and forget it , that the meaning of airdrop for me , i have good experience with airdrop , free 500$ just by 1 airdrop
If you have problems with payments in airdrops, why do you participate in them? Do the business they're paying you to do.
Last year... many airdrops are legit and you can earn almost 2000$ with just one airdrops...just like bitdegree.... but this year... there many shit coins and airdrops also scam ico... and we are never stop them... because there are many people are back there to support that project... just like other bounty hunters.

Most of the coins you receive are given because they want to introduce people with their project so you can invest during ICO if you like it. It is also for building up community. You cannot expect you will receive Ontology tokens now, why would they have an airdrop at this time? They had it before, most of these projects are the same.
Just wait until they get listed and hold on to ones you believe in. Do not enter every airdrop that says 'enter ETH address and receive 70$' because the chances are it's fake. There are legit airdrops with good teams behind them, just DYOR before participating and if you do participate, be sure to do all the tasks.

Most of the coins I received from Airdrop is just useless, cant trade on exchanges... though i dont lose any money its a waste of time
The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

it is not true. many peoples received their airdrops. you just need to find a good airdrop manager.
dont participate on shady ico. or they just gonna use you for free.
It is wrong opinion. But if you do not like or trust airdrops, you can participate bounties. Welocal is what is needed
Exactly, right now it is very difficult to find the legit airdrops. We can find so many airdrop programs offered in the telegram, facebook, forum, twitter, and many more. However, I'm not sure that they are legit enough. Moreover, now we may find most of them are scams. It leads us to be more careful in choosing the airdrop.
But, it doesn't mean that all airdrops are scams. We can select the legit one by following and analyzing the good ICO that offers the airdrop program. It will be more promising than choosing the airdrop on the social media or others.
