I wanted to know - does the project have soft cap? and what will happen with unsold tokens?

Softcap is 35,000 RCO sold > 140 ETH > approx. 50,000 USD.

Unsold tokens will go to second ICO round. Not sure if the softcap is just for the first or also for the second ICO round, I think the former is the case.

That's one of the lowest soft caps I've seen lately.
Well this will make the project go forward anyway. I do hope it will be a bit more, cause 50.000 USD is a small operating budget.

Are they an operating business with revenues or how are they going to realize their idea with $35,000?
Its on the whitepaper.
After the implementation of the project (beginning of 2018), the Company expects to profit from the following sources:
Convenience Fee – making profit at a fixed rate of $1 from each receipt (approx. 25% of all profits)
Payment processing – making profit from agent payouts for each transaction (approx. 2.5% of all profits)
Advertising – broadcast of promo videos, banners, alcohol e-catalog (approx. 25% of all profits)
Loyalty cards – the issue of pre-paid cards for payments in restaurants and stores (approx. 47.5% of all profits).

wow thats a lot of fees and a lot of profits for holders Smiley

Im not sure i read anywhere profit is shared with token holders. Did you mean that?

Once they set up the basics, like customer support/terminals etc. and they have a few restaurants running, it will not be hard to work with more restaurants. But I agree 2000 restaurants seems a bit like wishful thinking

I think 2000 restaurants can be easily done, if the product is good. Think about Restaurant chains. There are probably a lot of chains in NY who have more then one restaurant in NY. If they would get interested in it, it would spread. But anyways, this is of course just the case if the product is usefull and good.

Achieving such huge number for target restaurants is not impossible but may seem difficult to achieve in a short period of time considering the team naturally lacks manpower to do it all at once because they are just starting up. But with a good ICO turn out, they could rapidly expand their workforce and can do it  efficiently.

The minimum cap is only 50 thousand dollars? Do not know what to think, is it bad or good? For this money you can only write an application.

I think the solution is readily available, If im not mistaken. They just need to distribute it accordingly.

They also need a support team for restaurants. I believe this was one of the reasons to do an ICO.

Actually it's a plus in my opinion. If they just raise the softcap they can build the simplest version of their product and showcase it in just a handfull of restaurants. With the product up and running, positive reviews from those restaurant owners, data about its performance readily available and tons of demo footage of the product in action, they can then start their second ICO stage. This 2nd stage is to raise funding for a real sales team, support team, purchase of ipads, further development of the product etc. To me this two stage ico really makes sense.

This was one of the most confusing thread titles that I have seen, here or anywhere else. I was literally unable to determine the actual name of the coin and/or project. When the Ann first hit, that was the reason that we gave it very little time. There are so many coins that come out that if we can drop a choice quickly, we do.

I do agree that the name of the token/project should be the first part of the ANN title.

Now that the thread has come back up, we gave it a little more of a look and we were pretty ok on what the first page had to say, although not to the point of it standing out amongst the other coins. But, then we flip to the last page and see things like 3 block chains and what not. Just seems too much for a launch and a little too much coin control in the dev team hands over the long haul.
I agree, the first time I read it I didn't undertand what the name was.
but it's unusual and therefore unique,
that would know what this project - need to read and study conception in this theme , and when it's done - you already can't stop and walk past  Grin
Good point, it must be some marketing strategy  Wink

I did not read anything about 3 blockchains, I'll take a look again.

This founds should be enough for equipment purchase and installation, but for sure not for 2000 restaurants more for 200..Smiley

It's true that 50k is really low. But well, if they have a working product and already potential customers.
