You shouldn't be selling altcoins now. Even if you are right altcoins still rise in price very much then they can be sold and bought bitcoin for the future.
Look, if you are buying garbage projects that are stealing ICO money from people to make themselves rich, I understand why you would think altcoins are a scam.
But there are real projects out there solving big problems for large companies with blockchain technology. AMB and ICX for example. AMB already has Migros products running on its blockchain. ICX is working with popular social media app LINE to integrate blockchain. Invest in cryptos with REAL value and you will not be scared of being scammed.

I totaly disagree with this statement. As much as we like, and respect Bitcoin, we need alternatives, with even better technology. Some of the alts are very promising, and no scam at all.

Nope. A lot of alt coins are pretty useful nowadays and I wouldn't listen to some guy's "insightful tone". There are far more alt coins out there that are much more useful that bitcoins but people still claim that other than bitcoins, all of cryptocurrencies are scam coins.
Altcoins may be cheap in price,but it doesn't mean all are scams. Some are just having low funds or they just want to get people's attention to believe right away. It's true that research is a good way to solve that particular thing. Be wise in chosing your altcoin.there maybe some or a little bit altcoins that are use in scamming but not all , altcoin ranging from one up to fifty altcoin are surely not a not a scam altcoins.
The most important thing to consider before delving into this revolutionary yet infant industry is knowing what NOT to invest.

For me, this is not important if I can make money from it. I do not keep shit the promising tokens. It is really enough to observe the market well ...
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and i don't think anyone's opinion should trigger important decisions as selling out coins you invested in, instead research and make your own decisions on whether its time to sell. if at all are all shit then who's gonna buy even if we sell. just chose your coins wisely, some of them has potential.
I agree with you. No one can push as what we are we going to do with out investment at the end of the day it is our own money invested in that alts. Maybe we should be careful and chose the right coin to invest, and I also believe that some altcoins have potential and not all are scams. It needs time to grow as well.
We should sell aour alts now? Never, to me I don't agree with the statement. We probably found some scam Altcoins, but it is not all. We can still find many trusted Altcoins that you can invest. To know if the Altcoins are scams or not can be seen from the platform, ICO, and the project. Each developer commonly presents their ready-product. It will influence the existence of their Altcoins. In this case, we can see many investors have invested in the Altcoins and they are being successful. Bitcoin has the highest probability of surviving any major event to to its community adoption. I have to say, Ethereum is looking more so like its getting close to that point-hence a lot of the existing coins would't even exist without ETH.

I do not agree with this. Yes, there are a lot of coins that look very doubtful. But there are such tokens as etherium, ripple, and litecoin, which are used not only for speculation. Such coins have good prospects.

of course not all coins are scammers. but everyone should have their own opinion about this. if you think that the scammers, then do not invest. just trade these coins in the market. buy then sold, made a profit. if you think that this is a fraud, I advise you to leave the world of cryptocurrencies and live in peace.
Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. I felt that's his own opinion about ETH, DASH and other ones you mentioned but you can't just decide to sell off those coins because he labelled them as scam.
I think I benefited from altcoin. However, everyone has the right to express their opinions, so I do not want to blame you. and one more thing, I think you'll lose if you sell your altcoin right now, because the value of each altcoin drops dramatically
Not all altcoins are scam, but most of them are scam but they acting like they are not one. It is matter of choosing a good altcoin/s to invest, not when you get scammed you will say that all altcoins are scam. There are still altcoins that has the potential to reach the top and overcome bitcoin in the future of cryptocurrencies. So be aware of it.
Not all alternative coins are deception, but most of them are. Many projects failed due to lack of financial support, team split and so on. The encryption market is an immature market, which is normal. Only a small number of projects can survive.
We cannot but agree that most coins have been created just to enrich the pockets of the developers and we can count just very few coins that actually have a solid product right now, providing solutions and can easily stand on their own on the long run.

Bitcoin can never live without alts, and at the moment it is obvious that bitcoin is not at all the same as before, and alts on the contrary grow and gain popularity. I don't know this kind of situation is scam. As what I know that alts is a kind of coin that we can have profit when we have a campaign I don't think that scam.
Most probably the OP had a very bad experience in trading or having altcoins amd to think that he is not familiar with the situations indeed. Just to make some thoughts and hope it will help not only the OP but the other who had a bad experience.
Many rich people from Altcoin, they really do not care Altcoin has real value or not. They really do not care about the application but only care about whether they ever get money by buying that altcoind. I personally think Altcoin and Bitcoin are in the interests of one another, no one is shitcoin
