the word 'scam' seems to be used very broadly here, how is it a scam?
does developers hold a large amount and will dump?
how else is it a scam? tied to a real project that initially was decided not to deliver?

You should not hear information coming from a person. There are many Altcoin but not Altcoin which is also bad. Like NEO, Ripple and Litecoin. These are good Altcoin and will grow in the future

That is a baseless statement, if all of those coins are scam then those big companies will not invest in any altcoins and even the central banks will not persuade government is to intervene if this will happen.

So this person is not usual youtube-crypto-trader. But I think it is very pessimistic point of view. Of course there are many scams or some projects that are something near fraud(that continue marketing but zero development for example) but their amount can't be around 99%. Especially when we are saying about top-100. Yes, there are some coins that need to be out of crypto at all Cheesy

but that is just a small amount, all people with IQ 40+ understands this and support real crypto with real development, useful cases

its just I guess he dont know what altcoin is or what cryptocurrency can bring on the table! but on me I will surely keep holding unto it and have faith as much as I can on it!

We all know that there is no altcoin that is scam, because the scams are only those icos who want to scam, but they do not even reach exchanges.

Don't invest in coins which have grown from 2 cents to $2 in weeks. They are pumps and dumps and will turn into scams once they're dumped by the founders. Go for coins that take one-step at a time. TAU is my pick for April. A coin with 10k TPS, running testnet , 10 active dev team size, near to zero TX fee, mid-level supply. This is a get-filthy-rich coin for sure.

Definitely right. Altcoins may be cheap in price,but it doesn't mean all are scams. Some are just having low funds or they just want to get people's attention to believe right away. It's true that research is a good way to solve that particular thing. Be wise in chosing your altcoin.

If we do try to see on how many altcoins in the market then it will surely give a headache on us and it would contribute the confusion we would experience due to lots of choices. Not all altcoins are scams seeing out 2-10 ranking on coinmarketcap do signifies that there are still potential ones even on top 100 those coins are still somehow considerable to be good on my part.

Not sure about others but there are a few HODLs I have. I had researched them left, right and centre . Theyre solid and not scam at all. Paragon coin and Telcoin. One is for cannabis industry and the other is for Telecommunications. Both are cheap and will grow like mushrooms EY 2018.

This sounds to categorical though you have some point there. There are cases when altcoins were produced but they are not needed for the project to go on. Or at some cases there is no real project at all. Isn’t it why some of them we take just for quick flip and some of them we want to keep for long?! Also don’t forget that new ICOs are coming to the market every day, but it is not possible to have endless amount of coins. There should be some limit right? This is why you need to research really careful about the project and decide if this altcoin is going to serve something or its just a way to raise quick money

No u are wrong all alt coins are not scam. people should check the whitepaper and team member accordingly they should invest by checking their profiles. then they wont get stuck into any kind of scam.
