I plan to buy 3des coins on etherdelta. Hope that it's a promissing project.
If your 500$ is not a big amount investment i think. But this is big only for you. Of course you can invest with in a single coin. I suggest several alts coin if you want to invest with one. I think there are no risky it my prediction.

the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.
But i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

Don't try to invest if you put in one basket you need to divide it so can sure that what you invest will gain a good profit. Always choose in the crypto market what coin have potential to grow more.. the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.

The more coins in your portfolio, the lower the risk of loss, this is a basic rule. Of course you can try with the only one coin if you are sure in 100% but always there is risky of lost. Your budget is not small, you can invest in 2-3 coins for sure
I think that to put in 2 or 3 coins there is no sense. The investment in such projects as TRX and IZX will be better. Where there is a good idea and team. Which have the good price for small money.
I think you should not put all the money into just 1 altcoin, this too dangerous, the risk would be very high. Nobody put all the eggs in one basket. I recommend diversified capitalization. Take a look at 3des project. They are in a middle of ICO and already enetered an exchange. Very interesting.
Now, that hype is dead with many of the old coins,I 'm looking for new coins. Going to invest in 3des coin that just entered etherdelta. It's cheap enough, small cap, but interesting project. What do you think?
the idea is not bad but it's better not to keep money in one asset and divide it into three parts. Invest one part of the altcoyin you like, one part to leave for the future for purchase and one more to buy other altcoyins
I think it does not matter, it's the same if you invest it on some coins even though the odds you lose will be smaller but the profit that can be small because your money is separated.

You shouldn't have much to worry about if you chose the right coins. Even when prices fall, there is a very good chance they will recover as time progresses. Just be patient
High risk is high profit, if you pre-determined is $ 500 loss then you can invest all in a coin.

I think it not good idea to put all money in one altcoins. What to do if you already did it? Try to sell part and put in different altcoins. It more safe for investment portfolio as for me.

I think it's better to keep money in several coins at once, but not more than 3. As in this situation, the probability that one of the coins you buy will increase several times and you will earn from it. So I think it's logical.
