Hi,

I'm a crypto enthusiast and I want to find a crypto friends to help me...
I want to upgrade my small mining farm with a FPGA miner but I know the difficulty to create a new bit-streams...

In the community somebody wants to help me to programming a FPGA CVP-13?

Thanks a lot

You'll get everything ( almost ) that you need to know here; https://discord.gg/E8tG59u You may follow whitefire990 too, he is a bitstream developpers that is taking mostly the cvp path.

Otherwise, on the All-mine website, the tutorials that are there are quite well detailed when you want to mine with the shell.

Update:

We have released the following bitstreams for the following platforms:

CVP-13:
BMW512 (11Gh/s) from Protovist
Honeycomb (650Mh/s) from Allmine Inc
Veriblock (9.2Gh/s) from Protovist
Neoscrypt (3.3Mh/s) from Nez
Nimiq (1.1Mh/s) from Crypt
Turtlecoin (350Kh/s) from Crypt

BCU-1525:
Turtlecoin (225Kh/s) from Crypt

Note: As a reminder when operating the nimiq bitstream you must use the GPMP pool server ( http://pool.burstl.net:8650/ ) Address: pool.burstl.net Port: 8444 Username: Nimiq address. For turtle coin you will need to use the GPMP server at ( http://trtl.burstl.net/ ) Address: trtl.burstl.net Port: 3333 Username: Turtle coin address.

Can BTU9P FPGA's run the same bitsreams as BCU-1525's since they both on VU9P's?

In theory, yes. In practice you'd need to e-fuse them in order to use encryption-protected Allmine bitstreams.

Update:

We have released v3 of the Nimiq / Argon2d bitstream on the BCU for @Crypt that increases hashrate up to 900Kh/s. All existing device managers that were using the old Nimiq v2 bitstream have been automatically migrated to the Nimiq v3 bitstream. You should see your miner download the new bitstream and start mining once the configuration update has been detected.

Update:

We have released v1 of Honeycomb bitstream on the BCU. This bitstream will current hash at between 400-500Mh/s depending on cooling and voltage. A v2 is already in the process and we're expecting results over 600Mh/s. This v2 should be available sometime next week. A minerator update is required for the operation of this bitstream.

Update:

Allmine has released v2 of the Nimiq / Argon2d bitstream on the BCU for Crypt that increases hashrate up to 800Kh/s. This bitstream also corrects an issue that was causing a reduction in effective hashrate. All existing device managers that were using the old Nimiq v1 bitstream have been automatically migrated to the Nimiq v2 bitstream. You should see your miner download the new bitstream and start mining once the configuration update has been detected.

update:

3 more bitstreams for Bittware CVP-13 has been released. They are tribus (DrMerxius), keccak256 (Penfold) and zen protocol (Penfold). Hashrates are around 2.6Gh/s for tribus and 17Gh/s for the other two. Try them out by creating a config on miner.all-mine.co. If you are unsure about how to get setup refer to https://miner.all-mine.co/instructions/setup-instructions/getting-started . CVP users can ignore the part about updating BCU firmware.

UPDATE:

A bitstream for Tribus has been released for the BCU by one of the community developers (DrMerxius). The bitstream hashes around 1.7Gh/s at 190W air cooled. Just above $3/day currently.

UPDATE:

We have released a new bitstream on the BCU-1525 for the  coin 'Nimiq', an argon2d based pow. The current hashrate is around 675Kh/s air cooled at 130W. This comes out to around $2.50/day per bcu. The developer is currently working on improving this bitstream and I believe we can obtain around 4x the current hashrate (around 2.5Mh/s).
Hope you're right - $2.50/day is not where a BCU should be. It's what a 4x cheaper 2080Ti (can't believe I just wrote 2080Ti and "cheap" in the same sentence) is capable of producing nowadays. We do need a few good bitstreams.

When will we get some mainstream bitstream ?

What do you mean by mainstream? What do you consider main stream?

Keep in mind, we've not directly produced any of these releases ourselves with exception of lyra2z. These are all from community developers. We do provide a wide range of assistance to them to help them gain better performance, resolve bugs, etc.

Really, you need to sign in to see that data?

At the moment, yes, we'll be updating the landing page at some point.

x16r, x21, CN (any), Cuckaroo (maybe not possible)

x16r is on the roadmap but it's a way's off (toward the end of my 6month time frame). The work that needs to be done for it will allow us to release other bitstreams on the way.

For nimiq because there is no coordination from the devs for miner facing pool protocols (stratum, etc) there were many available and no consistent standard across them. A new pool server was created and this is currently the only pool server supported on the newly designed GPMP protocol. The address for the website of the pool server is http://pool.burstl.net:8650/ -- When configuring the argon2dnimiq bitstream you will want to use pool.burstl.net as your hostname, 8444 as the port, the address should should be the nimiq address to receive your share at, and the password should be your identifier / rig name. You can create your configuration now on our website at https://miner.all-mine.co/ -- To check stats for your mining you can view http://pool.burstl.net:8650/addr/YOURNIMIQADDRESS

-- You will need to update your minerator installation to v00.93.01 prior to mining nimiq --

There are more bitstreams in the works and we are expecting more releases in the near future. There's an easter egg in the miner site letting you know what's being worked on. I expect in 3-6 months we'll be > $5/day for all BCUs. As I've mentioned before, progress is slower than anticipated but things are chugging along.

Why can't I see any chart with hashrate for each bitstream currently available neither here, nor at https://miner.all-mine.co/bitstreams?

We've updated that page to display the information requested. Time permitting we will revamp the dashboard as well.
