We just wanted to clarify that while we are pushing for shipping to occur mid-December please bare in mind we are relying on external parties at this point so if any unexpected delays arise during the final processes it would be outside of our control just so you don't think we were being misleading when we spoke of this date. Whilst we are doing our best to push for this date as fast as possible with them we have learned not to make any guarantees; it is just the date we anticipate.

I mean this Picture:

take a close look to the right side of the Board and specifically to the Point were the Power Connector should be.
This is used Board, used for a really long time.

at 10 boards/unit with 12 chips per board at 1.5Mh/s per chip. You will get about 180MH/s You will need at least 3-5 Power supplies depending on your configuration to run this thing with 10 PCI-E 6pin power ports.  and if you look at the Right side of the board shown it is not "Pristine" it is burned at at the test points. (if you look closely you will see the discoloration.)

You can see where they've tested some sort of tape on the table, potentially to stabilize the unit.  Such Q&A.  Things are moving quickly.  Wink

I agree, but the burden of proof, that they actually used the miners is up to you.

Have a look at there last Update and take a close look to the Picture of the "new" Viper Board.
It seems heavily used over the last few Months.

No chance for a mass pre-mine at this situation.
May be that unit is under the test bed since the last month or may be one they made for demo.

They says performance is improved and is the chips are more efficient than any other company in their recent update.
Every company says this. Any information about any updated hash power?

Yeah now they are locked in Jail.

Like that piece of shit Josh from BFL saying that the miners as long as they are in BFL's hold is not the customer's property so they can't claim these have been used to benefit BFL. Well fucktard:
1) The government thinks otherwise, AND:
2) The customers already paid for the junk equipment that you sell so it is already the customers' equipment, you're manufacturing to order for all pre-orders not like a department store.

AT can be sued for loss of profit.

This Company Report about Alpha came in today on Companies House:

AA01(ef) Change of accounting reference date

Company Name: ALPHA TECHNOLOGY (INT) LTD
Company Number: 08483921
Received for filing in Electronic Format on the: 01/05/2014
The accounting reference period ending 30/04/2014 is extended so as at to end on 31/08/2014
Subsequent periods will end on the same day and month in future years

Looks like they're filing for a tax extension. You can ask in advance for a 90 day extension as long as you do it before your taxes are due. This will allow them to go bankrupt without having to file taxes? Who knows what these jokers are up to. You certainly can't believe anything they say. That's been demonstrated over and over again. I'm not surprised by this.

All these pictures are made to take 70% of the remaining money to you ... all of this could just be a hoax.

I'm a fan of their late 90's rack server case styling. I mean, why have the aluminum design with a quiet radiator up front, with an LCD bezel and full wi-fi capabilities--that folks paid for--when you can have a black steel case with noisy fans?

I love how they claim that they're "offering refunds" despite the "refund period" being over...when this was supposed to ship no later than the end of September and they've missed that mark by a mile and a half and the "refunds" they are offering involve them keeping 70% of your money, if you paid in full.

These guys need to go down.

Link to news update: https://alpha-t.net/news/developmental-update-18112014/

No LCD, No Wi-Fi. They claim to be the most efficient, "running at 1.5mh per chip", but don't post up power consumption. They appear to have a functional physical product, and are already talking about selling chips in bulk. They're not talking about Batch 2.

They're still working on building these out. If I had to guess, I'd say they might begin shipping in December, but don't be shocked if it's January 2015.

Oh, the best part? They say they're giving out refunds to those who ask. I suggest you all take photos of his words before they change.

so the latest update said the following:
"On that note we are glad to be able to finally announce shipping will be commencing soon however we are still working further to make the devices more efficient. We are very excited about moving forward with you all into the future of this industry so look forward to what will likely be the final batch 1 update very soon."

Any chance we can get some kind of time line for whats left?  Am I looking at a Christmas present from Alpha? Or will it be later?  I mean if we are just waiting for assembly at this point it should be pretty quick... but the post has that catch "we are still working further to make the devices more efficient."  At this point if its working and stable - send it - i will happily settle for my unit now instead of waiting an undefined period of time for a device that may become slightly more efficient... especially if it is truly already the most efficient miner.
We anticipate mid-December.

Hi all,
I am in the same boat like you Sad
I was robbed with £1385, by the way I have bad feeling about AT from the beginning, because initially I ordered the bigger viper 250Mh, but a few days later reading different forums I hesitated to pay for this miner, therefore I did second order for two vipers 20Mh and continue to read forums and again I was discourage to pay this money, so finally I did third order for one viper 50Mh and unfortunately I paid this order Sad and now I lost £1385 therefore I want to punish this bastard and send him at least to jail (if he cannot return our money) for fraud in large amount of money. I am reading from few weeks this topic and I have not seen yet or maybe I missed to have some group lawsuit against AT. From my point of view it is not worthy to go alone for £1385, but if we gather 200-300 robbed customers and go together we will split all lawyer fees and we have bigger chance to win. Unfortunately there is a small chance to receive our money back but I am ready to pay $50-100 for lawyer fees in group lawsuit if we have chance this bastard to be sent in jail at least for 15-20 years ..
I do not have any knowledge about UK group lawsuit but I eagerly will take part of it, if I receive any information about starting such lawsuit process. I suppose there are many customers from UK, who are robbed from AT and they can take more action in organizing it, at least they can speak fluent English and can meet locally the lawyers, because it will be hard to me to speak (face to face) with UK lawyers. (My verbal English is not good and I am not living in UK)
Any ideas about this?
Is there something done in this direction or all customers are going alone against AT?

Lol, where are you living. In the UK he might get probation at max, for this kind of crime.
