Bitcoin is a very popular coin that has the highest price, but it is better to buy only the underestimated coins which have the potential for growth in the future. Recently, the price has decreased for such well-known coins as Ethereum, Ripple and IOTA, so now the purchase of these coins is expedient and promising.

In this turmoil I would also advice to stay with established cryptos that have an existing product and community. Most smallcaps got wrecked this year and the bloodbath is not over yet

Yes altcoin is worth it to buy because the cryptocurrency market is still downtrend and cryptocurrency will not die because it has a solution to our problem in our society. So I don't even think that cryptocurrency will be worthless but this market situation is a great opportunity for us to have more coins or tokens.

Yes, you can buy but the major thing you need to understand how potential coins you are choosing. Before purchasing you can check many coins on the market which has huge potential. Whether the company has the possibility to develop the thongs what they mentioned in the roadmap.

If market conditions improve, of course there are many choices of coins that can make us get big profits, but because the market has not shown signs of recovery, we must selectively pick coins that have great potential to skyrocket, and some of the coins that I recommend are: Ethereum, Waves, NEO and EOS.

At the moment, buying alternative coins is very dangerous. I think we should wait until the market turns around before making important purchases.

The risk involved with investing in altcoins is much higher than with Bitcoin itself. You can see that every time Bitcoin falls in price, altcoins follow at an exponential rate. This all means, that they depend on Bitcoin as a reserve currency, since every price movement of it will determine the value of altcoins on the market. But, at some point, altcoins could be well worth the investment if you pick the right ones that will last for a very long time.

With some good amount of fiat, you can buy Ethereum, NEO, ZCash, Monero and other popular altcoins while their prices are declining. Once Bitcoin heads back to its original price, then you could expect for altcoins to do the same, leaving you with double or even triple of your invested money. The most promising altcoin here, would be Ethereum due to the upcoming developments to make it much more scalable over the long term.

If you buy a stake of Ethereum now, once it becomes a Proof of Stake cryptocurrency, you can reap double the reward, as you'll earn money from the stakes generated by holding ETH on your wallet, and from the price increase of the same. By doing this, you'll win in the end, but always do your own research instead of making your decisions based on other’s opinion. Wink

I don't think there are more than 100 coins worth buying, I mean, not if you are planning to invest on something that actually works and brings innovation, actually, cardano and EOS are the best options in my opinion.

If we are beginners then buying coins that have a large marketcap is a good and safe thing, some coins that are worth buying when the market conditions are dropping like now are: EOS, Ethereum, Monero, Lisk and so on.

One can always go with Ethereum, but should never go with one single coin only Other altcoins worth buying now are NEO and Litecoin. Cardano is very promising, too.

Agree. It's best to diversify your investment into other popular altcoins just to be safe. As such, Ethereum should be on the top of your list of altcoins to buy. However, Ethereum is not the only altcoin that would succeed as there are other competitors like Cardano, NEO, and EOS which are strong too. Doing your own research about a specific altcoin you're looking to buy, will allow you to feel confident that your money will be secure in the long term.

Sometimes, because of greed from certain altcoin projects, they tend to fail over time. However, altcoins with active development and a supportive community, will always remain on top no matter what. In conclusion, you should look investing into ETH, NEO, ADA, EOS, ETC, LSK, and ZEN. Just my opinion Smiley

Investing in altcoins is a good kind of earnings. Only it's not that simple. It is necessary to have certain knowledge to be able to determine the point of entry and exit.

It is okay to hesitate, in my opinion in such situation, the best thing you can do is free your mind from worries and concentrate on something else – the answer will come sooner or later.

I like Nano. Nano is doing ~20K transaction a day, which isn't too far behind some top coins (BCH ~40K). Based on this metric and others, you underestimate nanos actual adoption relative to peers. Nano's price would be $67 at equal market cap to BCH, so suggesting $5 is overpriced is really debatable. Similarly, the community size is quite large too (which is probably why people feel spammed).

Very good to use these metrics to evaluate the potential of a coin,  I also agree with the assessment of Nano. Taking BCHs position at some stage is realistic in my view too.  The amount of transactions is really impressive and from what I know these transactions are increasing while they decreasing when it comes to BCH lately. During times of very low bitcoin transaction costs and high speed less people seem to bother with BCH which makes a lot of sense. Nano is a different ballgame all together.
