I don't think so. See the distance between value of Bitcoin with other coins.

Altcoins are better than bitcoin in terms of profitability. But the advantage of bitcoin is that it is more profitable to store funds for a long time.
I don’t think so that there is any such way because of which we can make a comparison in between bitcoin and that of altcoin as bitcoin is far better than that of the altcoins and that altcoins cannot even compete with bitcoin in anyway. There are so many investors who are busy in investing of their money into bitcoin and that they trust bitcoin more than any other coin in the world. Is it possible to happen? Bitcoin is better. This is the most reliable coin so far. But this is expensive. If you only have a limited resources you can at least start investing in altcoins and earn.

I disagree, I feel that bitcoin is always the world's attention and not altcoin. and that the layman knows that crypto is bitcoin. and they do not know of any altcoins. this is a fact.
I agree with you because altcoin give more profit compare to bitcoin.
These are two very different coins with unique features, so comparing them sometimes isn'T AS FAIR, HOWEVER, NO MATTER THEIR DIFFERENCE, alts still cannot be compared to BTC, in as much as the reanings of BTC have declined in the recent times, its still the best crypto there is and the early adopters are still reaping big from it
For me Alt coin , is best one. we can get more money by investing on that. but before its please research about that coin first. i have gain profits from alt coins normally.

Usually, to earn profit, they will transfer Bitcoin to Altcoins to trading, but after they earned profit from Altcoin, they will transfer into Bitcoin to hold long term. I think the cumulative value of Bitcoin is larger than Altcoins
Will for me altcoin is better in daily trading. Altcoin is good in holding but i think bitcoin is more good on holding than altcoin. But if you just see they are both good in every activities it is such dwpend on your strategies

Which altcoin can do this? I can't imagine this. In perspective any coins which will show any good result and wins big part of any sphere can do this. It could be Ethereum, EOS, Cointroops, SEELE or any other coins which we don't know.
I think, It may not be possible as there are no one altcoin which have potential to beat Bitcoin as it is the very first cryptocurrency and mother of this crypto market and still now it is the King of this market. Other side there are so many scams exposed in the Altcoin ICO's/Projects every day, so there no chance to beat Bitcoin by any Altcoin in near future.
Better is a subjective term. Bitcoin is a crypto leader and a store of value. While there are plenty of altcoins with better speed or privacy or other features over bitcoin, that does not make those better that bitcoin. If that was the case, then all those bitcoin forks claiming to add various features and improvements to bitcoin will not be trading at so low prices compared to bitcoin.
It may be possible but one thing to put in mind is that when it happens, the whole market will go down abruptly as we recognized in this year. People with altcoins are happy with bitcoin leading the market. If another coin takes the lead, people will begin doubting whether that will be the end of crypto so the whales know this and they won't let that happen but they can let it happen. The bad side outweighs the good side this won't happen.
I think it is impossible, there may be altcoin with many fans and faster in terms of transactions, but bitcoin is the first coin and become the other coin king, it is very difficult to replace bitcoin, altcoin price is also affected by bitcoin price, i think for now altcoin only can be a companion of bitcoin
