I am holding ethereum, byteball, digibyte, monero and ripple at a moment as I feel there will me massive rise in the price in next year and holding even longer can be more profitable.
Think you can go with almost each coin in top-10, except LTC and BCH. Iota, Strat and NEO shows good profit think this coins will increase 5x in next 2 years

2-3 years holding? go for ethereum, waves, neo and ltc. I can see a future to these 3 altcoins which is become popular than before. it might increase its value for the next following months.
Holding altcoins for 2 to 3 years is a good idea. I will invest the money which I can afford to lose. It's better to invest than not doing anything at all. The reward will be much bigger than the risk. I will buy different altcoins to minimize the lost.
For me, it's EOS. This is also a platform but trying to address the scalability issues of Ethereum. Very strong team. This team already having experience with other block chain network so it will be a huge advantage when you rebuild a brand new platform to address scalability issues.
I suggest ICON because I believe Icon itself will have a real world use case a lot sooner than some other projects in this largely speculative crypto world.
omg and neo 
Neo is one of the potential coins in the market. It's value will increases every year' that will pass. Ethereum is doing amazingly in the past, it was proven and will be proven more that the potential of this coin is increases too. Waves is another good alt in the market. Even TLN have potential. The result will follow in the future.
NEO and OMG seems to be quite promising.
I will hold Zilliqa , Nucleus vision and Travelflex along with them.

I would say NEM , XRP and ETH.
You are missing two big coins brother, ETH and BTC, these are best coins for holding long term, BCH and Monero is also good for long term
I hold Monero, because of high privacy, ETH bcause of thw huge project and platform behind it, Litecoin and Doge, because I like them. BCH for the case of further possible hard forks.

Just hold BTC and ETH for the long term, and altcoins for the short term, don't just rely to the ALtcoins.

The concrete truth is that 4 months ago no one would have suggested to you to hold ANS which later became NEO for the next 3 years. Nor would they suggest you hold OMG. Just that rudimentary observation and objective.
Its not bad at all at your choices, I would say NEO is a good coins to hold. They provide platform that almost the same with ethereum. I am sure NEO will reach their best value.
I believe that Civic and Snov are two coins with great future in the next 2 - 3 years. The price is very good for purchase.
CHSB is the best altcoin to invest and holding for 2-3 years.
