You chose a good strategy to keep the coins for a long time, but why did the choice fall on those coins?

It seems to me that apart from NEO coins, it makes no sense to hold other coins for more than half a year. A maximum of one year. I think NEO is a promising coin and in 2 years the price will grow 5-7 times.
I suggest holding Ethereum, I see Ethereum's development from year to year is increasing, I think if holding Ethereum for 2 years or 3 years would be very profitable.
NEO is good option I think, if you want hold 2 years more. in fact neo has a good development and looks can have the right to be preferred for others I do not feel will be anything interesting.
Great plan! In my opinion, coins are like wine, the longer you store them, the more valuable they are the stunt! Yes, some "bats" can break, but basically everything will grow in price! 
your analogy makes sense too. to hold a coin for a long time i guess it's not an easy thing. the most important thing is to make sure that the funds we use are free money, if you can survive, i think soon will be a rich man
I'm choosing neo from the list of the altcoins. I believe it has the potential to grow this year and to the coming years. I'm also recommending ntok as one of the promising altcoins this year. It is still in its ICO stage and I believe it will definitely prosper as it is backed up by trusted individuals.
Holding is good for 1 year and that should be the maximum period because the market could turn in a bad situation immediately so those 2-3 years of holding is like losing many opportunities of gains.

I think you cna buy in btc and eth for long term holding. I think they are better than others.I still believe that investing altcoin in long period of time worth waiting because high percentage of investment will grow in a long period and this is what investors strategy.

I bought Lamden at 6 cents, it went to 14 cents. The best thing is that it is just 2x of the ICO price. It still has 50x potential to grow. Have a look at the update they released today. I won't go for XVG, It's been spoilt by McAfee and David Gokh, I have always looked for coins with real progress. See Paragon coin which has got an update today. I have over 10k coins, will HODL them for another 2 years.

The best way is to invest in projects with small cap now, which currently announce real working process, such as Power Ledger, POA

If you want to hold coins 2-3 years its good decision my suggestion to you Bitcoin,Ethereum, Neo, Waves and Litecoin .Because these all the coins already proved themselves and they will gives you a handsome return's in long term. only invest if too much money is available

In my opinion the most promising coins for holding for 2-3 years are ZEC and ETH. ZEC is totally undervalued. I'm collecting and holding them
