Altcoins I am holding are eth zen zec and ltc all are relatively cheap and could have good returns in years to come.
I would suggest Ethereum and NEO
OMG and NEO are Good. I advise.
I would choose the coins ETH and NEO. I think these coins in 2-3 years will grow very much in price.
If you want to hold altcoin for two until three years you could hold your altcoin Ripple, Ethereum and you could also hold bitcoincash. There are three kinds of good altcoin have will most profit if you are holding more than two or three years later. You can buy right now where high is not to expensive and you save it all and then sell after three years later. I trust you will take much profit from three altcoin you hold it.
I think you should check out Waves, it's really undervalued at the moment compared to the technology it offers. It has really big potential and I believe it could really take off during the next 2 years
I think personally, The latest trend does not give me hope to buy the coins I hold after doing a lot of research. And I think you just hold BTC and ETH because later then the price of the coin will go crazy. And also many countries have given the rules for the cryptocurrency. So if you want to invest in the long term.
I don't know anymore. Last year i took some promising small ones like Onion, Spectrecoin, WEpower, Medicalchain, but they did not impress so far. Maybe i should wait longer.
Also one that wasn't so small anymore but was very promising, SONM, also didn't explode. These were all top-rated throughout the entire community. But again, i might speak too soon and ofcourse i should hodl.

I look you like risk no matter what. As for me, not the best solution.
But still, if there is an interest in investing in something for such a long period, then pay attention to MINEX, they have a bank where they charge interest.

You can choose ethereum because of the high demand of their technology for now there is a lot of people who adopt their blockchain and use their platform, you can buy also bitwhite as you can see the developer is working hard on their project specially they will launch their own exchange under their platform.
Ripple is really good but just beware that the price might be more towards "consumer" level since it is bank related

Ripple shows a lot of pretty good developments for his future. so I chose Ripple as Altcoin which has the potential to be held for a long time. with this exciting Ripple development, able to create a better future for Ripple. 
I think that for such a period it is possible to invest in large altcoins, such as Ethereum, Neo and Monero. It is also worth to buy Ripple, EOS and OMG.

Ethereum is an Altcoin with an ever-increasing development. so Ethereum has the potential to continue to increase in terms of price and market. so Ethereum is a good Altcoin to hold for 2-3 years ahead. if we are talking about holding any altcoin for 2-3 years, i still could trust only a few altcoins which are top on the cryptomarket. otherwise, if you want to trust invest an altcoin from the rough, you should research and follow all progresses about the project very closely.
I don't think holding altcoins for the next 2-3 years is a good choice at all because Altcoins are the way more unstable than Bitcoin and i'm prefering to hold Bitcoin or Etherum in the next 2-3 years than holding some bullshit Altcoin instead.

2. NEO
Formerly known as Antshares, NEO is often referred to as China's Ethereum. It is very similar to Ethereum, but supports decentralized trading, identification and digital assets. It also closes loopholes that make Ethereum smart contracts vulnerable to hackers. My forecast 200-300$

Personally, I don't trust any altcoins for 2-3 years. If I had to say something, I would say most promising altcoins like ethereum or ripple.
I do not think if the owner for 2 to 3 years is good, you can buy it at the beginning of the year and sell at the end of the year will earn a bigger profit.
It's very interesting to hold altcoins for 2-3 years but you never know what gonna be hot in few years that's why better to think tiwce before choosing an altcoin.
