my wallet is upgraded but its stating its offline?
I sent some coins to Cryptopia from my 1.8 wallet before I knew that their wallet was in maintenance updating to 1.9. What is going to happen to those coins?? Will they show up when they get their wallet updated or are they going to be lost because they will be on 1.9 and I sent them from 1.8??
i think you will get it once they upgrade. i also had this when i upgrade v17 to v18.

Will the old wallet stop functioning at some point? I have yet to change and upgrade just yet, but want to make sure I dont run into any problems if I run 1.8 for a day or two more.

You ll not be able to send/receive coins to/from 1.9 to 1.8 and vice-versa. So please update your wallet.
So if someone sends me 1337 from old wallet they are worthless, and staked coins in old wallet too?

Still in sync and have been staking through the night

I'm still having trouble syncing with the network. I'm running 1.9.0.0 on Ubuntu 16.04.
Yesterday I downloaded the bootstrap chain provided on github. But getinfo tells me since hours that the latest block is 1062454, although I've 60 connections.
Version 1.8.0.0 worked for months like a charm but 1.9.0.0 is terrible
Any ideas what I can do?

Thanks for the snapshot. It downloaded some blocks and now stalls at block 1064696 with 84 connections

Good to know, I updated it now thanks xenon. Things seem fine the blocks are still loading so we will really know in a few hours. Guess you can update the title now to 20% APR

Everyone, please try new windows wallet (1337-qt9252017.zip) from here https://github.com/xenonflux/1337/releases/download/v1.9.0.0/1337-qt9252017.zip . This should solve wallet crash with old wallet.dat.

Please backup your wallet.dat and remove everything from .1337 folder except wallet.dat and 1337.conf and copy the files from snapshot to .1337 folder and start your 1337 qt or 1337d whatever you're using.

that's what i did in the first instance though my 1337.conf is in a different directory using datadir
I'll shut down my windows wallet (working well without needing to import keys gj) and try again

Block 1064696>1064697 seems to be the issue I'll transfer the chain from my windows machine

synced with transferred chain i'll leave it staking overnight and see what happens
