Can I use cudaminer for this? Any advice on how?

It would work as your stratum server but I'm not sure how and if cudaminer handles failover servers.

6 rigs rented today..two of them frickking terrible, 200-800MH on one quoted at 1000KH/s and 1000KH out of one quoted as 2150KH/s  Angry

Guess I find out what the supports like today.

Always rent from those who provide support, so you can get clarity around any issues.

And, hash rates reported by pools and actual hash rates can vary depending on how the pool reports the hash rate (over what amount of time) and what the diff is.

Both claimed support neither replied, While I'm aware of huge variables I have several rentals running under separate workers to the same pool and had been watching for a period of hours, these two were clearly anomalous.

Based on the support ticket resolution it seems the only thing you need to do as a rig owner is ensure the rig is connected during the rental window, you can claim 5gh and provide 5kh (just don't do it often) and you will still get paid leaving the renter to beg for a partial refund.

"According to my logs, the rig has always been connected.
If you believe the rig was misconfigured to give proper hashrate, or that the hashrate was below the declared speed, I invite you to contact the rig owner via the "contact" link available in the history tab of your profile to negociate a partial refund, and to leave an appriopriate feeback on the rental feedback form.
-- We only do full refunds on rig being actually offline, or when the rig has a *recent* history of hashrate below declared speed."

I feel a little bit disappointed with thier service

"Dear blachta,

Hello!

We did a mistake, we didn't block the payment of the rig owner in time, so the rig owner got paid.
Could you contact him to arrange a refund please?
We are really sorry about that, this is an uncommon mistake we are not doing often! Smiley

Cheers,
Mux

Best customer service ever Cheesy!

Please understand we now have processed 1800 support tickets in 3 weeks related to differents issues and so far, we only screwed up 2 times.
Sorry, we can do better, but I think that's already quite good   Grin

Im having the same problem, my rig was rented from user "tomdif" for 24 hours,
The renter never used even if i had emailed him. The rent has been over and the service still is showing "Rented - Ends in 1 day".
So i desided to disconnected it from the betarigs pool and still shows "Rented - Ends in 1 day".
I think all the rigs the user "tomdif" have rented have the same problem.

I'm looking for a decent stratum proxy software ... bfgminer as proxy and miner-proxy are no good (problems with cgminer and limitations) ... does anybody knows for a good stratum proxy? I've seen some providers are providing farms of 10, 20, 30 and more Mh/s on BetaRigs, if anybody of those provider is reading this - what kind of stratum proxy software are you using?
If I'm not mistaken - this isn't an essential with betarigs, you can point multiple rigs to the same username/password and it will combine the hashrates.  I have rewarded some long term users not with extra hours, but by increasing their hashrate, and this appears to work.

I put my rig yesterday for renting, and someone took it for 24 hours , however i look at my cg miner this moring and it doesnt look to be connected to betarigs Huh is it normal ?
Same problem here actually, 24h rent, no connection for the entire duration of rent.
Additionally the rent is over for the last 16 hours and the site still hasn't released my rig yet.
User "tomdif" has rented 2 of my rigs this way.

Hey, at least you were renting it out cheap (as all recent newcomers are doing).  Tongue

If the site hasn't released your rig it is usually a sign that the rig is not connecting to betarigs (as opposed to the issue being with the renter's pool).

Just an idea Mux, Any chance the site could implement a 5 star system or something so you can see a summary of the rental ratings of each rig on the front page?

I found it odd that that site doesn't have litecoin fully implemented as an optio nfor payout as well option for payement, especially considering how many scrypt rigs there are. For many miners like myself who are new to crypto, and started mining with GPUs past bitcoin craze and mainly dealing with litecoin, having to get paid in bitcoin then convert it to litecoin ourselves is inconvinient.

Not a big deal and doesn't stop me from renting out my rig, but it would be nice if this was something on developer's to do list Smiley

is it possible to set fail-over pool for renter? one of my renter asked me.

i'm not sure cause i don't know how the renter web interface on betarigs looks like.
maybe someone can answer me.
thanks.

No it's not possible and that's the sole reason I haven't been renting from betarigs anymore.
