when .50 BTC gets you 8 Bitcoin cash its time to buy it

0.0625? it's now!
yes my friend it seems a good time to get some bch Smiley and at bittrex there are huge whales backing up their pockets Smiley so i guess its a good time to buy some Smiley i expect 0.15 is easy.

When this dumping rally will get stopped than we have chance to get more high price at the moment it looking pretty hard for next rise. Poloniex also announced the date of distribution of BCH but current floor is bad to buy at cheap price.
my friend rise has already started Smiley watch out

All the bitcoin cash bulls need to do to make Bitcoin cash mining as profitable as bitcoin is to raise the market price to .17 BTC. Come on supporters. You want to takeover? Stop being so cheap then! Roll Eyes

Needs something to fill the blocks most are under 100KB

Why do the blocks need to be filled? The meager transaction fees gained from a full block are not going to push this coin to become as profitable as BTC to mine.

They dont need to be filled but the big blockers pushed for 8M blocks and are mainly using <100K now just seems pointless

Give this network time to mature. Most of the transactions now are only people moving their coins to and from exchanges and exchanges moving coins from hot wallets to cold storage and vise versa. The problem that I see with big blocks is two fold. The first is that a full 8M block takes 8x as long to validate as a 1M block. So we will see more empty blocks being mined if the blocks get full. The second problem is if someone decides to spam the BCH network, it may take 8x bytes to start congestion problems, but then full nodes will be downloading 8M of bullshit every 10 minutes rather than 1M of bullshit every ten minutes.

LOL "downloading 8M of bullshit every 10 minutes" shouldn't be a problem unless your bitcoin node is running on dialup/ISDN or something?  Get off the Raspberry PI, and buy a cheap VPS. And if an 8MB block takes as long as a 1MB block to validate, that's BAD? That's 8 times the capacity, FFS.

Empty blocks are mined from time to time on BTC, which is a major problem because the BTC mempool has been bloated to hell due to the artificial capacity ceiling. On BCC empty blocks are not a problem, other than delaying the confirmations a bit. When the difficulty stabilizes the network will work fine.

Looks like my call from yesterday was right: Huge short interest on Bitfinex lowered prices quite a bit.

Notice that Bitfinex doesn't trade BCC/BTC, only BCC/ETH and BCC/USD.

Another sign they intend to lower BCC prices...

I really believe that once a company will develop a hydra wallet( a wallet that supports both bitcoin cash and bitcoin), the price will decrease dramatically, most of the people aren't selling their bitcoin cash , just for the reason they don't have the knowledge or the time to do so, because it is pretty hard to make the export and import thing.

That's an interesting idea. I suspect it's safer to just clear outstanding BCC balances and dump them to a BCC wallet, just because of the potential for confusion and/or losses. BTC and BCC address use the same format, but if you pay from one to the other, you're f*ked.

The people saying that a live-tested and monetized 8MB BTC clone with $1 billion+ market cap has no worth are out to lunch...

A mere 6 days later and my first BCH coin (or BCC, whatever)is available on exchange! WOO HOO!
Well seeing how its free crypto maybe I'll buy the latest flavored
convoluted ico scammy-ass shitcoin token just for a shiggle.
Speaking of which.. cant wait for the Bruce Wanker Bitcoin Cash video...
coming soon !  Grin

oh sweet jeebus ..i love crypto in my old age!!

Sell it, quickly. we'll be glad to pick what you drop.

I also think that is nice choice to buy this coin at this price almost a week left when this market will be open at Polo. I think it will increase up to 2x from the current one.

The problem with Polo opening a market is they will concurrently be releasing a large supply of BCH, convenient to liquidate. I think the large increase in available supply is going to overwhelm any buy support. Furthermore, since the BHC blockchain is now moving at a reasonable pace, I'm sure the massive supply will move quickly to other exchanges, for people hoping to get a better price for their BCH, and attempting to arb.

Well, I guess I have nothing to add to what you said. But I honestly thought that Poloniex, for example, would get things sorted out quickly and reliably. I mean, they have quite something to lose and therefore a decent incentive to do it right.

I think Polo has a staffing issue. They either can't/wont hire the talent needed to keep up with their support tickets. They probably are also making doubly sure they implement the BCH claiming correct. One or two screw ups could cause a loss of hundreds or thousands of BTC and/or BCH.

Polo has issues alright. They are scumbag ripoff artists. They make more money stealing coins than on legit commissions.

The only exchange that's never ripped me off is bittrex but I am sure some of you have horror stories.

Anyway, bitcoin cash is a con game.

Decentralized exchanges will have a bright future. Not sure though whether high frequency trading might one day be possible on a blockchain, probably not, right?

Indeed they are having bright future, there are missing few features from exchanges like poloniex, bittrex , but i think soon it will get added in future
best part of Decentralized exchanges is no KYC..
But how to create a Decentralized exchanges with cryptocurrency??? If as my think we will trading with transaction on blockchain and not use database of exchange website provide, but remember when do that our order not instantly and easy make congested blockchain.

Decentralized, on chain and fast? Not until we can deploy networks that use entangled particles to transmit data faster than light. Such a network probably is not possible for quite some time, though. (Which would make cloud storage decentralized and trivial as well.)

what is happening with BCC is almost the same tactic with Zcash, the difference is zcash was worse and when it reached .024 i bought alot of zcash but people here was still saying it will die and must reach first 10 usd or even lower, like they do now with bcc, i was then beginner and sold mine when it reached 30usd.. after monthes zcash reached 400usd +, did the same with eth, dash..

so whatever price bcc has, it will pump anytime..whales who buy these prices are not so stupid or angels that spread their money.. one day they will credit 2x or 3x at least...remember eth was 7 usd one year ago and reached 450usd, almost 64x

btc itself was considered a scam at its beginning

I tottaly agree with you, BCH will recover dispite all haters. By the time they were dumping the coin, some others were buying, and I dont think that all that buyers are just willing to throw their money.

No it won't. It is going below $100. This is a colossal fail.

Coinbase ripped off it customers by cashing in the bitcoin cash at a max profit, only to release at a later date when it's worth shit.

This was a scam coin to line the pockets of the rich.

Anyone who does not see the scam that unfolded here is as blind as a bat.

The miners, the ones that really count, will go for short term profit. Once the BCH blockchain's difficulty is being adjusted you will see more miners adopting BCH.

Really? Where's that on the block chain? Show me the hashes. You have a coinbase address with coins in it on the BCH block chain that is now empty?

Where did they cash it out?

I'm sure this is 100% incorrect.

Has there been some blockchain analysis to support this claim? Links please.

From what I can gather, most of the frozen accounts are from people who refuse to verify their accounts and give POLO the proper KYC/AML info. Look at what the US did to BTC-e, that isn't even based in the US. Don't you think Polo has to be really diligent since they are headquartered in the US AFAIK?
