I like to speculate as much as anyone about what can or 'will' happen.

But the truth is we are in new ground for crypto.

The multi-pool is going to do dump 25-40BTC into BC in this '24 hour block" we are in.  That is a lot of BTC (to this coin) and eventually (over days)  the positive pressure will just keep inching into all the weak hands.  Look at how close we got to a break-away price increase today.  At one point we had only been a few BTC away from clearing all the sell orders.  Think about that.  Demand almost exceeded total supply for a short time that is incredible.

I wouldn't estimate the sheer number of people that would seem to prefer to make $50, instead of $5,000.  They could set us back, if the next several strong price increases people just dump all over to make a quick buck.  However they will eventually run out of BC.  I believe most mining on the multi-pool are going to sit on the coins.   Or even half them would be great.

I think its a bright future,  Anyone that comes in here and spreads a bunch of crap is just trying to scare you.

These are the facts.

No-mining to get cheap coins to dump
Multi-pool creates buy pressure removing the spoon from the mouths of the dumpers.   There is a real chance you won't be able to buy back as cheaply as you want, Or need.
No high interest rates to generate coins to dump daily.

The truth as I see it, is this coin is now very hard to manipulate.  Sure big holders can dump the price, for a time.  But they have no promise of being able to buy back in.  And who would want to miss this ride?

There's a lot of market momentum pushing the price at 3500. People are still dumping coins below that price in an attempt to drop it back down, or simply to get out. That being said there's a lot of buying still going on. If it fails to break 3500, tonight I could see us on a small downtrend.

If by a "lot" of momentum you mean around 20-30 btc then sure... although I consider the upswing of 1300 btc to be a better indicator.

Im not all that familiar with auroracoins story.... how did it get to .1 btc.  Is it even possible BC could do that, or would that make ots market cap just too large?

I think the thing with aurora is that there were only ever 100,000 coins in actual circulation, the rest was speculation. I checked out the thread and surprisingly it just seems to jump up to a massive market cap overnight, then you've got people claiming that aurora could achieve a $30 billion market cap.

I see a lot of potential in blackcoin, I'm just waiting for the right opportunity to get back in.

It's obviously stabilized around 3500 sat now. Should have gotten back in when it was at 2800.

Is it buying time yet? I cashed out at a decent price because I saw the correction coming. No good pump can last forever.

Also the guy that commented he could crash the market to 1500 if he wanted to, that shook me a bit  Shocked And then the sell walls kept getting taller and taller. Damn whales made it impossible to break 5k.

I suggest you stay out... This coin needs stake holders that are going to hold on to the coin.. not run crying everytime someone says BOO!

So hopefully some investors who don't want a quick cash out will bought out your coins.

Your being a little dramatic, please refer to my post about the wallet analysis done AFTER the drop to 2500 and stabilization at 3500. Estimated that less then 2 million coins changed hands during the drop, the vast majority of top 100 and top 10 held their coins.

TLDR, market was overheated, it corrected and will continue once it is done consolidating.

It's amazing that the 24 hour volume is more than 50% of the total market cap value.

This. Add to this that 3-5 btc would bump the price up to 5000+ sat right now. Tomorrow will be another interesting day, people that sold are going to cry... Or buy back in lol

Also, for the naysayers: This coin rose in price too fast. It was due for a correction. The market has stabilized and is building buy support are 3.3k satoshi. I expect plenty of volatility of this coin coming for the next couple of days, but I have a large stake that I'm holding onto long-term.

Ya I think the rise to 3300K was sustainable, the 5K we saw earlier was pump and dumpers playing with our beautiful coin unfortunately. They will be back to play again with the gains of our hardwork, I'm sure.

It wasn't an organized pump. It was just some people getting a bit greedy and thinking it was going to hit the roof. Human nature.

the market was a little overheated and it dropped back to support accordingly.

this new high and the drop and rebound should solidify that this coin is going places.

1) massive volume
2) all volume over 2500, with a majority over 3500
3) tons of interest was generated
4) broke new records for volume and market cap
5) price stabilized above the breakout level of 3000 >> momentum to the upside is confirmed.
6) on break of 5k, there will be enough buying to push to 6000 or even 7000 on the next leg

You make good points. I didn't really mean to imply that it was a organized pump. I just think there were sharks swimming in the tank with all of our volume.

Something that's been on my mind a lot lately for which Blackcoin seems like a perfect fit, is the idea of dovetailing into the music industry. I have been putting some feelers out there through friends in the business and there seems to be interest, and a brewing awareness. It therefore did not surprise me completely to see this article just a few moments ago: http://www.coindesk.com/coins-for-bands-disrupt-music-industry/

The coin referred to in this article sounds like complete crap, but I take it as a good sign and confirmation of my basic premise that these two worlds are coming together. It makes total sense, the demographics are perfect. I'll do my bit with the contacts I have, but if anyone can make some moves getting Blackcoin on the map with the music industry - man, can you imagine the progress we'd make?

What has to wake up will wake up, but the music industry still needs to sleep a bit...
If they wake up, u can give them a ticket to the BC party...but they will not have any coin...most of them...
