How many devs are working on Blackcoin and whats the edge blackcoin wants to achieve over other coins ?
How do they seperate ?
POS and great distribution is one part.

33 developers, can you help too? It works here a bit different then what you see in new coins nowadays..
one coin team hassle is a thing of past..
community rulez... Wink

for example on payblk It had a designer, tester, dev, company named obsidian..
Lore - Doolittle coin-creator and 2 other dev's one did web GUI other helped me with OSX bug.. tester on rassberi pi..
..and story still continues.
33 devs working full time? I dont think even bitcoin core has that team strength. Looking forward to the awesome next release then.  Cool

Stratis is completely centralized. It's not what BLK aims to achieve. Nobody 'owns' BLK.

Good wallet distribution is healthy, especially for a proof of stake coin so your point is absolutely valid.

That's exactly what Blackcoin has. The initial PoW seeding ensured that the first coins were distributed fairly. The coin hasn't been premined and the developers didn't get any free coins. After the PoW phase the coin went through some high volatility and then came to rest at a market cap of roughly $2 million for several years. Anyone could've picked up coins during that time and even at $11 million today those coins are still incredibly cheap. Especially compared to coins who offer less but have all kinds of underhanded ways to screw over their holders.

Not to mention that a 0.97% inflation is low. That means any share you hold in Blackcoin now, would stay pretty much intact, even if you don't stake.

If you'd buy Bitcoin or Litecoin your coins would depreciate 5% respectively 20% each year while you held them. Add the humongous transaction costs to Bitcoin and you're looking at enormous maintenance costs that holders pay to miners each year.

None of that exists in Blackcoin. It's pristine.

but new guy buy blk, have not mined cheap blk
if everyone hold bags ,people hard to buy ...

The nice part about cryptocurrencies being extremely divisible is even if very few coins are on the market it shouldn't effect the ability of people to buy whatever quantities they want. We've seen that with Bitcoin, people are happy enough to transact in "bits" and other sub-denominations.
Need a process.
but this time  blkcoin , china exchange hold most...
chinese don't believe cryptocurrencies (most)

BlackCoin (BLK/BC)

French user need help, create a good tutorial in french. Can you read and help, please ?

Official way

1) v1.2.4.tar.gz
Télécharger : https://github.com/CoinBlack/blackcoin/archive/v1.2.4.tar.gz
Compiler avec qmake et make.
Blackcoin est installé.
Blackcoin-qt fonctionne.
Résolu.
Work Good.

2) blackcoin-1.2.4-linux.zip
NOT WORK.
HOW TO USE IT ?

3) blackcoin-qt.asc
How use the file .asc ?
Comment utiliser le fichier blackcoin-qt.asc ?

Old way ?

A dev say me :
Your tutorial is wrong, it uses old wallet which is 3 years old, in these 3 years blackcoin has changed substantially.
Why ? How to ? Where is the good repository ?

If you buy a pow coin the miners will guaranteed dump constantly on the holders. That's why pos rules.

We saw in 2014 that the opposite is possible in PoS with the blackcoin multipool too. People can mine PoW, dump it, trade to PoS and create a constant upward pressure on the price. If enough people cooperate in this way the effect is pretty astonishing.
