Having considered all the evidence and facts, this coin is in serious need of help.

The current management should hand over to the community..... there are enough good people on this forum who can move it forward, complete the airdrop and create the required faucets etc. to spread the rest.

This coin will die and sink like the rest if a decent strategy is not put in place soon.

I am no longer a holder (apart from the few sent on the recent community tests) and I have never received an airdrop.

So, with a donation from Dallas5, I went through the list again, sending 4.815162 to each address on the list.

Oh that's what it was. I was wondering about it in the other thread. Thank you for the coins!

So, with a donation from Dallas5, I went through the list again, sending 4.815162 to each address on the list. There were a couple of hiccups this time. I had to restart the script twice, and set it to manually start from where it left off, and I may have sent a couple folks double and even missed one or two, but it was only 4 coins and there's a log file showing which transactions went through, and it's still better than 99% success. There were only a few failed transactions and most seem to have been a bad address. Here is the output file from the script this time:

http://pastebin.com/jbqeKwVT

I may try one more time tonight, just to see if I can iron out the kinks. Dev/Rawdawg, let me know if you want help with script or I'd be willing to just send the airdrop coins if you guys don't have a solution. Otherwise, I guess we probably have to assume Hippie Tech is probably correct  Shocked

Before you possibly take over the drop or they use your script would you please make sure my address is included.

I received the original drop, but none of yours. I can only guess that it is because I had updated my address a couple of days prior to the drop and when it was updated in the spreadsheet a note was made "UPDATED" in the same column as "banned".

Good call. I did not notice that until you pointed it out, but it should be easy to correct. I see there is one other address that just says 'changed address' now, not 'BANNED' or 'same as...'. Thanks for pointing that out.

If this is already answered in the thread I apologize. I read the OP and it was not mentioned or linked to.

How do you stake this coin? Some type of write up for newbs seems a good idea.

Is the process the same for all pos coins?

Thank you.

Anyone with some expertise? or at least, actually receiving pos?

Do I need a conf file?
Do I need to run the client as server?
Does the client need to be mining?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

If you don't have a password on your wallet, it should be staking automatically. Otherwise, you just need to click the unlock wallet button and enter your password. By default, if you do nothing staking should be enabled (there is a way to protect coins from being staked). I've staked a few hundred coins in a couple weeks with between 60-90k coins in wallet.

I did that days ago and still nothing; that is why I ask. Password protected and unlocked. It says "wallet is encrypted and currently unlocked"

Is your wallet mining? Is your wallet running as server?

No, the wallet that staked the coins wasn't running as server or mining. It depends how many coins you have and how long you've had them in your wallet. You might just need to wait a few more days or a week. I've had my wallet for a little over two weeks, and I've staked like six times, so maybe you just have bad luck or few coins...

Thanks for your help. 20k coin for 6 days and nothing so far.

When was the last payment anyone got from the dev?

I never got paid from official airdrop. I had to go on freenode IRC #BTCtalkcoin and ask Rawdawg to send them to me manually, and that was just once...

From my quick forensic research of the blockchain, and reading the thread, I found the followings:

When Rawdawg was asked by our phantom dev to sent out the Airdrop, he was asked to sent it  in weekly payments: about 20% per week. The first payment was on May 22nd - in all logic, we should expect another payment today.  He sent it out to over 1100+ addresses, like he previously mentioned on this forum.  Unfortunately, a bug in his scrypt sent coins twice, but to only 1/2 the people on the list....  Thus the 2 x 4810 coins that 1/2 the people received.  He sent out over 5.4 million coins that day - it is all documented on the blockchain. If you go back a couple of pages back, someone even listed the 5 or 6 blocks he used to sent them out.  The remaining balance on that first payment is still in address: http://www.cryptoblox.com/address/CV9mY8aTuPvJdhwCGh9JehgdhjykS3ZFrw - about 200k.

The original 31 million of the premine Airdrop was at : http://www.cryptoblox.com/address/CRrNurmyyjWeY8z91fa4JWeT8dLamKy97R

On May 21st, the 31 million got split into 25.4M (still at address http://www.cryptoblox.com/address/Ccve47NqKgUa5soLfU5Q7cudZUyaGkNET3) + 5.6M, where 5.4M got distributed (as described above), with an undistributed balance of 200k.

From the initial airdrop (31M +), another balance of 959k is still available at http://www.cryptoblox.com/address/CN7gn4ghTpSD2KN3bDi5K15qpYAS6r8Pji. That is the balance Rawdawg used to pay jwinterm at his address CdoZhbgV82FMJphvJ8rCsEwqyxsPrdfa3g.  See block 20690.

I could not find traces of the IPO proceeds, or the other 1% (2 x 0.5%) premine that was intended for development, marketing and bounties - that alone represents another 600k coins.

Some nice work, they should just use jwinterm's script to send 9620 TALK to the other half of the airdrop script then everyone on the original airdrop list get the same amount of coins. Then use half of the remaining airdrop coins for people who added their address on the super faucet website and the other half for bounties, block explorers, faucets, marketing, ..

Incompetent ? Most definitely as he is not the guy who coded this.

Its the story of the .2 BTC shitcoin ! Tongue

Why is no one talking about the paid IPO ?

The newb laced air drop should have been enough. I'm amazed to see that so many remain optimistic.

I agree, it wasn't the greatest launch in the world, but at this point the 1% premine (650000 coins or so) is worth significantly less than one btc. I'm not even sure if the original dev is active. If we can manage to get the 49% airdrop premine out to the people who signed up for it, and maybe get a tipbot going on the forum, then it could have a chance to gain some value and a decent distribution.

Unfortunately I don't see a tipbot happening on this forum. It would require the bitcointalk.org admins to code it in because no one here wants to see thousands of posts with spam for people tipping.

All cryptos are FIAT digital currency. Do not use.

Don't use IRC unless you can mask your IP address.

Please post if you are on the original airdrop list and received the coins.
