From a half outsider/half insider, I can say that there isn't anything scammy going on. The devs that took over the initial coin, are really doing the best that they can with the information they recieved when they took over. The original dev had made a plan in public that is close to impossible to actually implement. I have been fighting with this shit for a while and its been a rough go. But I am going to do the best I can to get the job I was asked to do, done.
But thats just my opinion. If you look at my posts you will see that I am a huge asshole, but I also call people out that are doing shit that is wrong, or disrespectful. I wouldn't have anything to do with this coin/airdrop if I thought the people were going to scam the community. Anyways, thats my 2 cents. Back to working on the airdrop so you guys can have your free coins
I understand that you want to help out, but why do complicated when you can do simple...
There are only less than 1150 addresses to send the coins to. Here's a quick recipe that will take you less than 20 minutes to perform - not 5 days…
Set your BTCtalkcoin.conf:
listen=1
server=1
rpcpassword=XXXXX
rpcuser=YYYYY
1. Download the official Google excel sheet. There are only 1164 entries.
2. Delete the doubles that are crossed-out or in red (no more than 20) - 5 minutes
3. Insert a column before Column B
4. in B1, paste:
"./BTCtalkcoind -rpcpassword=XXXXX sendtoaddress " (notice the space after sendtoaddress) - xxx is your rpcpassword set in BTCtalkcoin.conf file
5. at Column D1 enter
" " (just one space)
6. at Colum E1 enter the number
"4870" - 5 600 000 TALK divided by 1150 addresses = 4870 - there will be less than 1150 after your done with step 2 above - keep the change...
7. Cut and paste B1 to the rest of Column B
8. Cut and paste D1 to the rest of Column D
9. Start your BTCtalkcoind:
./BTCtalkcoind -daemon -rpcpassword=XXXXX
10. Unlock the wallet:
./BTCtalkcoind -rpcpassword=XXXXX walletpassphrase=AAAAAA 9999999
Airdrop:Now, copy from your modified Google excel sheet 100 addresses at a time, Excel sheet
columns B to E, paste them on your terminal.
You really don’t have to - but if you want to test - start with the first 2 on the list… I already tested the above and sent them 1 TALK each...
Wait until a new block is found - then, send another set of 100 addresses
Repeat 15 times.
The
http://www.cryptoblox.com/chain/BTCTalkCoin website is a good place to look at blocks found - or use another computer with the QT running and check the blocks number.
… but in theory - you could send the 1150 transactions all at once - who cares really…
If some don’t make this block, the software will handle them to be incorporated in the next block.
If you need additional help - just PM me.
PS: Why do you keep moving the 5.6M airdrop address around?
Thank you for this! I am not going to do it exactly how you described but I think you just made me have a breakthrough....also what do you mean "moving the 5.6M airdrop address around"? Those coins are still in the same place, not including 1 or 2 that I have sent to myself for testing. Even those testing coins will be making their way back to the airdrop itself.
