I own a couple of thousands of deeponions bought at .6$ . I am not going to sell soon tbh.

What does that mean? Fact is Bitcoin is the market driver. If you believe that Bitcoin goes up first before any Alts, then the only logical decision would be to put your money into Bitcoin and not in Alts.

It is not ok to offer this kind of replies or messages to the users. Everyone should take care of where and how they are going to invest their money.

I think this went (and still goes) a bit like the MtGox sell off from the trustee. Onions from the devs are dumped all the time into the market.

No, I'm not invested in Onions anymore for some weeks now. I did as I said earlier, I went out before the airdrop ends. And I do not have any intention to go back in, simply there is not enough meat to it. Community, fine. I still think many people will get burnt over the airdrop end.

That's why I say sell now and buy back cheaper in later, if you think it is still worth it. Prices will go down for sure.

While that does make some sense, how can we be sure you aren't FUDing it up majorly in order to get onions to drop to a really low price? How do we know that you aren't trying to push it to 5-10k sat so you can scoop up as many as possible? Also little bit of a side note, there is no way the hodlers can get rid of all their coins. There simply isn't enough buy support and it seems futile to dump the coins now. Why wouldn't these hodlers dump at 100k last year, or 130k in Jan? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but then again I am no whale . Madmac care to clarify why they didn't dump prior? I am genuinely interested in hearing your opinion.

I'd suggest to get out now before the airdrop comes to an end in 4 weeks, this will trigger a major sell off for sure. So get out before this happens and buy in cheaper afterwards, if you believe in this coin. Nobody went bankrupt because he realized gains.

In my opinion this is hard to say because the price could even go down. Also i'm sure that the price will be influenced by the price's bitcoin

Exactly, people are getting free coins right now from airdrops, won't happen after 4 weeks, value is bound to increase.

What's the point of waiting for Bitcoin? Put your money straight into it and do not fear any longer.

will going to be holding with regard to long term, perhaps 6 months to some year, you are able to just await Bitcoin in order to stabilize purchasing Deep onion. If you are investing and intend to hold just in a few days or even weeks, you have to time your own entry.

at this moment you see like 300.000 Onions coming into the market every friday. This will stop in about 5 weeks. After that there will never be any "inflation" again.  Also the coin can be listed on other exchanges. The big exchanges don't allow coins in an airdrop because this will screw up trading on some sites if suddenly the supply increases. Users who are not aware of an airdrop might suddenly see a drop in value because of more coins = lower price.  This will stop when the airdrops end
The first year staking is like 10%? After the first year that will also drop to like 5%
I see future indicators that DeepOnion should slowly grow in price.. But that's just my opinion, there is more and more talk about DeepOnion online and on YouTube as well

Fud or FoMO....  difficult to tell; only time can tell.  If the $Onion Team is a genuine team which i think it is as they are doing a great job and I see another Bitcoin in making....

Steps and path taken are very awesome and time tested.   I have to agree with the @MadMac here that why would the people not sell once the AirDrop is completed.....  and it makes complete sense as Airdrops are not equally distributed...     Investors holding hundred thousands of them get the most....

This week, the Top Coin holder of 333,000+ coins got around 12K coins.  that is worth USD 24K.  2nd one got around 6.5K coins.
so it make sense that these heavy baggers will dump their coins they are holding in hundred of thousands... and cash out and move on.   

But isn't the Crypto World like this....  it is part and parcel of Crypto.  Many are not attached emotionally to the coin and will dump and thousands of them will hold.

so 5 weeks from now (when the last Airdrop happens) we will know the truth that the heavy baggers are dumping or holding on to it and waiting for the price to go to Jan level high.

BUT $Onion TEAM is no ordinary team.  They are group of rich investors who have replicated a time tested path that made Bitcoin great.  why are we forgetting this....   

After the Airdrop, The top developers, Admins, Creators need to hire top notch

1. Celebrities,
2. Tech Gurus & Divas and some
3. highly self-motivated Cheer Leaders to spread the news and create some positive hype. 

#DeepOnion is simply awesome.  With minimalist set of some Pretty Unique Features, that is all require for a Coin to become a "STORE of Value".....   I personally see a 1000x within 2 years.

At such events like forks transactions are usually suspended for some time unless proper verification can be done by the exchange. Strangely this coincides with the end of the airdrops. Meaning people will not be able to transact should the price crash and are trapped. Cleverly planned I must say.

Before a fork i suppose that the developer team discussed already with the exchanges. They can't just go blind aheaad to see what is going to happen.

Hardfork coming, and no real measures in place to avoid multiple chains forking. A second blockchain appeared already.

So what will happen? At a hardfork as this one (remember the ones with BCH and BCG), all coins will automatically double. You will keep Onions on the old blockchain, and receive the same amount on the new one.

How exchanges, and there are not many, will react, we do not know yet. I strongly recommend against upgrading the wallet before the fork at block 460000 that should occur beginning of April, or you will likely lose all your (double) coins on the old chain.

I do not hold DO, so consider this a general remark for hardforks.
