It better not be a problem because that is exactly what the instructions say we can do. In fact, the first transition guide recommended it. It said to consolidate coins to one address by sending the coins to that address (instruction on how to do it were in the guide). Then dump the private key of the one address and import that key back into the V3 wallet.

Can someone provide a definitive answer on this? I also sent coins to myself to get everything into a single address. Of course when I imported the private key for the single address it did not recover all my coins but I was able to resolve that. My wallet says staking is active but I have seen nothing happen in over 14 hours. This could be normal but since someone else is having a problem I'd like confirmation that there is or is not an issue.

I couldn't find the unlock button either, after waiting 1,5 hours it started with me. Got the first result in already, 0,008 DMD

Probably leave it open overnight.

All I did was send someone 12dmd. It has completely emptied my wallet!!! Not happy with this v3 so far. Hopefully I can get them back

Hint for all SOLO Miners:

You are missing ur solo mined coins ? Then propably this will help you.

Even if u only have one receiving address, the DMD mined solo have another address!

So you have to reopen wallet v2 -> dumpprivkey from this solo mining address -> close v2 -> open v3 -> importprivkey from this solo mining address

I used the method of importing the private keys from the old wallet, without giving to new wallet the old .dat, and all went smooth and without any problem, for sure the best way to make the transition and not having any issue.....

Received also a new stake for one of my addresses..... nice !

I did the wallet.dat migration and the new wallet said that the wallet could be imported but some transaction data is missing. Then the wallet open and about 99% of my coins are immature und not confirmed thatfore. Shall I just wait?

Staking should start an hour after the coins were received. Also make sure the wallet is unlocked for staking if you encrypted it.

Ok. My wallet has been open for nearly 6 hours though . It was active staking but now it's not . And there's no option to unlock
