No, i have never touched any code in DMD or even downloaded the DMD wallet.

Instead of syncing it just falls farther and farther behind in blocks until it no longer shows how many blocks it needs to sync.

try using connect= in the conf and irc=0
also delete peers.dat before starting wallet.  Change back to addnode= after u sync up.

My wallet that was previously working also. Then the update to the new wallet and I can't sync either. I added this conf trying to get it to work. I didn't need a conf before.

Anyone can leave as long as there is market for it. Some might not sell their coins at all. If the price falls below a certain point it's better to keep the coins rather than give them away for free.

No idea why cryptopia having such a problem syncing up, I built linux ubuntu 16.04lts wallet on an ArmV8 (aarch64) and synced just fine with only a few nodes to begin with and now ~15.

Dumb ass to try to fall back to 2.0.5.7, won't work ...
New wallet will ignore it and he will fork off LOL.

cryptopia has no real volume to speak of on DMD anyway, would take you longer to sell there I think.

Nothing has changed regarding staking, wallet 2.1.0.1 has bugs which cryptonit acknowledged, but it works just fine except for personal reactors.  My advise is get the new wallet and pull your coins from bittrex and let them stake until new wallet release (~2 weeks, more likely 4 LOL) and get some free coins staking.
5000 coins will stake approx 35 coins every 9 days ...

cryptopia does not reflect market without a working wallet, If it is not synced to 2.1.0.1 don't expect to get any deposit thru to them ...

Why someone want added some nodes?
My wallet put into operation 24 hours a day and has all the time 15 connections without .conf file.
 For some, it is short of 15 connections?

I posted the error once not 10 fucking times.

Not sure how adding nodes to a wallet that has 20 connections its going to stop the wallet crashing.

I will install the old wallet again so people can withdraw, problem solved

this is a new community node yes
by far not all of that nodes are run by us just like 50%
the others are community nodes of people
who have static IP and willing to run a wallet
with high maxconnections at least 50 better 100 and listen=1

i run a high performance node who had 170 connections in the past
(i run with maxconnections=200 )
which is a great sign how big and active community we have

acual its again 106 connections which show us that majority of usersbase is up and running on 2.1 again

this we should never forget
DMD Diamond have one of the greatest community in crypto
just most of them are from the silent type
i think the values we try to represent in crypto attract that kind of people more

# sync from zero is a pain in the ass

fixed by dmd 3.0 which will run with a slim fast sync chain

workaround now use a presynced chain we provide for download
or be prerpared for a lot days sync time where multiple wallet restarts are needed
it is possible to sync from zero but 3 years history and all the changes
and hardforks in the past u have to run through while u sync from zero

# some people have issues to sync the last few thousend blocks an their coins send to or from bittrex never become visible

fix get on correct chain u stuck in a chain of peopel who didnt update in time

# wallet gui look like locked if u did unlock in "for minting only" mode

that was part of a security fix to make for sure any action in that mode need a password
to see if u have coins active try to mint a POS block check the diamond symbol botton right side
if its blue u try to find a POS block at mouseover u can see ur weight vs network weight
we removed the estimate time because it calculate not based on all ur coins and their age together
but the real POS happens for each coin pile try to POS on his own
so the estimate did produce very unrealiable numbers that created confusion

# some people even if on correct chain did report to find no nodes and no connections

fix add the addnodes from first page towards ur diamond.conf

please tell me if u aware of issues i did forget to mention

regarding the release of a fix we will face a like above 2 weeks timeframe because key people are not available for some days
