Hello! What pool do you mining at? There could be a troubles with sinchronisation with different pools..

BTW, how are your blockchain synchronisation speeds?

It usually takes like a whole minute to add a single block. Is it supposed to be that slow?

During the initial synchronisation the earlier/ smaller blocks (<50000) synchronised much quicker. Is that an intended slowdown (the higher the block, the slower it gets)? Just having to wait like 10 to 20 minutes per day to check my balance can get a bit boring... it's like a long line of people waiting in front of your local bank. I usually turn around in such situation and come back another time when that happens. Grin

Maybe you should reset wallet in GUI(File>Reset wallet) Just make backup of your wallet file before.
