Do you work for Kraken?  Are you trying to shift the blame onto the customers away from Kraken?

Just because the crypto space is risky, it doesn't mean that we shouldn't be critical of potential criminals.  Just because the stock market is risky, it doesn't mean that investors are more to blame than Enron, Worldcom and Bernie Madoff.

Hi!

I am a new user of Kraken and submitted documents for verification. But it seems like they never take anything seriously. It's been 11 days and still they didn't verify my account nor they sent any email. Do they have support agents at all? I get response from BTC-e and Bitfinex within a few hours but these guys are dead for ages.

2 withdrawals of mine are stuck "on hold" for 7 days!!! Made seperate ticktes for them, but support just sends automated mails. Withdrawals are in btc...

I got that sometimes. Have you tried cancelling and attempting to withdraw again? You can try it a few times. Do so and wait fro 10-20 minutes after you make the withdrawal and see if it works.

Kraken your customer service is a joke. 18 days you have put my deposit on hold. One e-mail after two weeks that the relevant team will look at it.
Your running a crypto exchange which is time critcal and your terrible service is causing allot of people to lose money.
GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY AND I'LL GO ELSEWHERE.

Deposits into Kraken usually took 1 business day if I remember well. I made a transfer on Thu just after noon and it has not been deposited. I doubt it has not been credited by Fidor yet. Why the f*ck deposits take so long now?

It won't help to post ticket numbers that are about your verification status because we are not escalating these tickets. We are only escalating tickets for already verified accounts that have a funding issue, trading issue, or account access issue. This doesn't mean we are ignoring account verification - we have a large account verification team who are working to verify accounts as soon as possible in the order they are received.

I'm already verified.  A few days ago, I sent a direct message to you about my May 24 wire transfer with my support request ticket number.  My money still hasn't shown up in my Kraken account.  Kraken is ignoring all of my support requests.  You seem to be ignoring my direct message to you.  Kraken is in total silence in regards to my money.  Please reply with an update.

Not that I don't enjoy posts from newcomers posting their ticket #. And I'm also terribly sorry for spamming in your ticket bump thread. Wink

Anyway, I'm pleased Kraken is looking into setting up dynamic withdrawal fees for crypto coins. Might I suggest you look into Litecoin fees ASAP? 0.02 LTC is a bit high at today's prices, don't you think?

A priority setting would be nice. highpriority -> 0.0025BTC,  low priority -> 0.0005BTC

The BTC withdrawal fee should drop again pretty soon. We are going to batch transactions, which will take a few minutes longer, but hopefully we should be able to get the fee down to around 0.001 this way.

Hi Dargo, could you please explain why Kraken charges 20mLTC for LTC withdrawals? 20mLTC are completely detached from real-world network fees (by at least a factor of 20). So, either this is a mistake or an attempted rip off in the wake of high BTC fees.

Just received an email from Kraken that LTC withdrawal fee is reduced to 0.001 LTC. So, it seems it was just a mistake. Kudos for the prompt correction!

Really unethical.

I would recommend everyone to stay away from Kraken until they solve this problem.

It is very worrisome for them to hold our money, not tell us where it is and not reply to us.

If there is a mistake on the deposit, you should not take that as a chance to hold and make use of the funds by holding it without solving the case. This is not the right way to treat the customers who send their funds by trust on you. Really unethical. Almost 10 days. Got only 2 replies that just says to wait. Making a refund won't take this longer. If this keeps happening, you will loose customers just because of your bad support service. You can't give the statement 'too much of request' as an excuse. it is all about funds. You can't hold our funds these longer in the case of some mistakes. Of course more number of users need more number of staffs. You can't troll over here with same excuses forever.

I’m having a similar problem as Cryptoby.  I wire transferred money to Kraken on May 24th and nothing has happened on Kraken's end.  The money didn't show up in my account.  They don’t reply to my support requests.  Dargo from Kraken has not replied to my direct message on Bitcointalk.

Things to avoid doing to prevent 'on hold' deposits:
- Check if your bank is crypto friendly, some are medieval in this respect. They flag your deposits as suspicious. Takes ages to get your money moving again.
- Make sure the account holder name on your bank account and Kraken account are identical! Every single character! One little typo. Bam! On hold.
- Never make a fiat deposit in the same amount too close together (in the same week). They will think the second might be a double, and put it on hold.
- Don't deposit an amount too close to the daily limit. The exchange rate might change and you go over your limit. Again, on hold.

My bank cannot be an issue because I tried sending a small amount initially and it worked fine.  I asked my bank yesterday if the latest wire transfer completed.  They said yes.  My bank didn't receive any problem notifications from the receiving end.

Account holder name is the same.

Deposit is not the same amount and not the daily limit.

Has anyone wire transferred money to Kraken and never saw the money again?  I’m beginning to feel this way.
