Blockchain Just Entered The Real World
Hi guys,

I accidentally clicked on the wrong link of the confirmation email we receive when we add a withdrawal address and blocked my account...
I opened a ticket (#355105) and send the responses needed to unlock. If someone from Kraken sees that and has 2 minutes to lose to help me retrieving my access to my account, I'd be very grateful  Cheesy

I've receved a mail with questions to which I've replied very precisely, since then just silence.

Anyway, I'm pleased Kraken is looking into setting up dynamic withdrawal fees for crypto coins. Might I suggest you look into Litecoin fees ASAP? 0.02 LTC is a bit high at today's prices, don't you think?

A priority setting would be nice. highpriority -> 0.0025BTC,  low priority -> 0.0005BTC

You explained the 400% increase of BTC withdrawal fee as:

Well, there might be some users who can't care less of their transactions being processed quickly, if that would cost over 7$ at current rate.
Then please, provide different withdrawal channels: one with higher fee for quick withdrawal, and one for slower yet cheaper ones.

Hey Dargo,

I'm using Kraken since a long time, but made my first big SEPA EUR withdraw about 20 days ago, and it's still stuck on "On Hold" since.
I wrote a message to the support last week, but still didn't get any answer from them. My ticket number is the following : 351580
For information, I'm verified until Tier 2.
Can you help me with that ?

Hi Dargo, can you please help me solve my problem? I have my deposit in € ON HOLD. I sent larger amount of money from my bank and now I cannot use them on exchange. Already contacted support with ticket #351824 - got one answer which didnt solved my problem. What should I do to release my deposit? How long it takes? Are my € lost? Thanks a lot.

I want my funds released, please help

The BTC withdrawal fee should drop again pretty soon. We are going to batch transactions, which will take a few minutes longer, but hopefully we should be able to get the fee down to around 0.001 this way.

Hi Dargo, could you please explain why Kraken charges 20mLTC for LTC withdrawals? 20mLTC are completely detached from real-world network fees (by at least a factor of 20). So, either this is a mistake or an attempted rip off in the wake of high BTC fees.

It won't help to post ticket numbers that are about your verification status because we are not escalating these tickets. We are only escalating tickets for already verified accounts that have a funding issue, trading issue, or account access issue. This doesn't mean we are ignoring account verification - we have a large account verification team who are working to verify accounts as soon as possible in the order they are received.

The support is slow even when business is slow. Right now they have a serious influx of new customers, and many of them probably didn't read any instructions and spam the hell out the support channels. Long story short, I takes a couple of weeks before they can answer your ticket.

Kraken works great, but in case something goes wrong you have to bite the bullet and prepare yourself for a long, long wait...

You can't take your money back anyway, it's on hold. Basically an algorithm noticed something it didn't like and now a person has to look at the transaction manually to see if it's OK. And they REALLY take their sweet time doing that. But in their defense, usually they are waiting for some info from your bank.

Things to avoid doing to prevent 'on hold' deposits:
- Check if your bank is crypto friendly, some are medieval in this respect. They flag your deposits as suspicious. Takes ages to get your money moving again.
- Make sure the account holder name on your bank account and Kraken account are identical! Every single character! One little typo. Bam! On hold.
- Never make a fiat deposit in the same amount too close together (in the same week). They will think the second might be a double, and put it on hold.
- Don't deposit an amount too close to the daily limit. The exchange rate might change and you go over your limit. Again, on hold.

All the things you mentioned are correct in my case ... the bank is Fidor (they say they work with them), account holder name is the same, it can't be at the limit ... maybe it's because it's my first deposit ... I don't know
