Does kraken have sepa withdrawal issues? I did a withdraw on saturday and today, on monday, it's still pending. I guess such a website can't send their employees on weekend so why was it not yet processed? I waited for the money and now it is not even sent?

Normally it went pretty fast into status success as far as I remember.

I already created a ticket though I wonder when I will get an answer...

I would like to report the following bug (or nasty behaviour):
Kraken allows (without even warning) to sell the collateral that is needed to maintain an existing position. For example, assume there is an ETHBTC long position backed by a margin of 1000€ and now these 1000€ are sold for more ETH. Kraken doesn't decline or even warn, but instead executes this trade which immediately results in a margin liquidation since the bought ETH don't qualify as collateral (because, at Kraken, ETH is not a margin currency).

Why does https://status.kraken.com state that everything is operational despite the fact that the Kraken website and API are down for more than half an hour?

Does anybody else, who is trading via API, has heavy problems with it?
The support sadly is not able to do anything.

Since one whole week 60% or more of all API calls I do, does take more than 10 seconds, resulting in a timeout error (of course I can increase the time before the timeout error happens, but this would paralyze my bot, if he waits that much time everytime)
It is not possible to trade at Kraken with such a heavy delay.  I just wonder if it is only me, because here are no other complaints about this.

Of course also before it was horrible to trade at Kraken because of a delay, but it was only 5-10% of the calls which had such a dealy.

So maybe I missed something? Maybe there was a change by Kraken somewhere so I should update my bot or anything like that.. and all did this, but not me?

how money network fee is Kraken paying for a bitcoin withdrawal?
We do pay 0.0005 BTC fee for a withdrawal, but my transaction has only 0.00022541 BTC fee and is unconfirmed since 2 hours.

I agree with you all, this is really getting frustrating. Every other day there is a new problem, in all honesty this is very unprofessional to see from a "professional" exchange platform.

I've been a long time supporter of Kraken, however now there's been at least 1 or 2 problems EVERY week where there's been a downtime longer than 30 minutes. It's just ridiculous.

A multi-million dollar company like Kraken should have excellent protected servers and have good protection and backup routes when things happen. It looks like they do not, very frustrating to see that I can't go on about my normal Kraken day without an interruption.

Do not worry, kraken found way to resolve all this problems, just increased fee in 2 times, less users, less load, less problems, same profit :|

I'm pretty surprised reading about confirmations too. Cheesy I did not read of them before. Though it might be that I overread it because it sounded like "stuck on confirming 2 hours and 10 minutes..

So it's nothing on kraken's side, it's the one who sent the deposit. He chose a fee too low. A pity how the network goes down.
the user worte, that the transaction already had 10 confirmations. So how should a higher network fee should help? Of course it is krakens fault, if they do not credit a transaction with 10 confirmations. Isn't it?

I noticed that you posted a couple of posts one after another while wearing a signature of some kind. You should not do this anymore since there is a, until now, hidden rule that even made me get banned for 14 days in the last weeks.

Thanks for letting me know - I think I will just remove my signature going forward.  Tongue

Unfortunately the trustee only offers the helpline and no email. Perhaps you can call the helpline and see if they will give you an email for correspondence.

I was able to fix it. For some reason my password was not working anymore. A password reset did the trick then.

Though I still miss the third button which, I read, means my case was not worked on yet. Last button doesn't work for all, probably will work once all cases were worked on.

As mentioned above the heavy API issues started 24 hours ago, after the "EService:Unavailable" error message.
So I don't think it is because of heavy load. (of course you have heavy loads problems too, but this is an additional issue)

It may not have been the heavy load, but the heavy load may also have started before it became more evident, since it's not the volume, but the number of orders and the number of funding requests that are the issue.
I mean it is not a load issue, because it exactly started yesterday at 1 am UTC +1.  Before that time of course every now and then were issues too because of heavy load. But at that time something additional happend, which raised the timeout errors from 15% to 60 or 70%. (and it is still that horrible)
And this additional problem is the one you have to find out, to reduce the problems to 15% again. And then find out how to reduce it to 0% Wink

And it is no explanation for the "['EGeneral:Temporary lockout']" I keep getting. Did you lowered API limts because of the load? Or did you enabled stricter limits to placing and canceling orders while your website says there are no limits for doing so?

The temporary lockout message means there has been some kind of time-based violation with your API. Usually it's a nonce issue and means you need to increase the nonce window on your Kraken account API keys. We replied to your ticket about this and are waiting to hear back from you.
Thanks. This "nonce windows" feature is new and was not there when I set up the keys some time ago. And I never read somewhere about it. You should announce such new feaures somewhere. But thank you very much for this feature, I'm sure it will solve this problem Smiley
The reason for the lockout was because of the poor connection to kraken, some calls did take that long, that in the meantime my bot throwed a timeout error and tried it again. The result was that sometimes several calls with wrong nonce arrived at Kraken.

Another problem is, that you have by far too less support agents for API problems. I have some tickets open over weeks now without a reply. Luckily tickets about deposit/withdrawal problems are answered within some hours.

Well we don't have special agents just for API problems, but it's true that many of your API tickets did not get a reply and we apologize for that. Support is still seeing a really large volume of tickets and our service is going to be sub-par for some time yet unfortunately.
