Hi, I've already tried entering 10 orders today I either get a message that my order may have failed, or I don't get any response (unless you count an empty red rectangle as a response). I understand that there are issues, but this is ridiculous. You already cost me several 100 dollars today. How many times should I retry an order. BTW, if an order fails, the least your system could do is give a reason for the failure. Is is a systems issue, or is there something wrong with my order? I have no way of knowing.

Top Crypto Casino
@kraken-protocol

Do you know what can be the reason(s) to have a crypto deposit "on hold"
I just noticed it today while looking at the history and the thing is:
- I don't remember about this deposit (it's just a small one)
- It doesn't look to be one sent to the old BTC address
- I don't know how it's possible to have a (crypto) deposit on hold while a member is verified Tier 2

Thank you.

It's easy to deposit money on Kraken but it's impossible to withdraw... This is a definition of the scam.
So it's official Kraken.com is now a SCAM.

Can someone change the title of this subject and put "careful kraken.com scam" ?

They are miserable people. @kraken-septimus and others from kraken, get out of this forum now.
Next step, will be to find you and to punish you.

You may wish to walk back a bit from those kind of statements.  An apology is in order as well.  (Yes, you should apologize.)

Did you seriously just ask for an apology? You're one of the most unprofessional people that work for this exchange. A customer should never have to apologise for their frustrations. YOU should be apologizing for the customer having these frustrations to begin with.

How do you even have a job at kraken still after that statement?

In general you are correct about the client never having to apologize for their frustrations.  Our role is to support and examine the solution to the problem at hand.  However, in this space there do come times when we do actually draw a line in the sand as to what is acceptable and what is not.

Abusive language (or behavior), particularly when manifesting as a threat, is not acceptable. We do not dwell, and are happy to forgive and forget the past as a matter of routine and practice, and in these circumstances it's our custom to move forward and focus on resolving the issue, but we do ask that clients in such a situation do as well.

@kraken-protocol: Can you update us about what Kraken will do, about the distribution (if any) of our BTG/B2X?
I don't see any info or an official statement about this incident. At least an announcement/post here.

Imho it will be very helpful for all.

The most current statement of Kraken on BTG remains that which is shown at:

https://twitter.com/krakenfx/status/922605826627342336

While we are always open to adding new digital assets to our exchange, we do not generally confirm in advance which ones will be listed. The best way to get up-to-the-minute details regarding which assets are being listed on Kraken is to read our email newsletters and to follow us on social media.

As a cautionary caveat, please note that you should never give away username(s), password(s), private key(s), seed phrase(s), e-mail(s) corresponding to an account, or other such information.  For example, providing one's private keys or seed phrase (of your bitcoin wallet which you have on your own computer) to a web site that asks for these in exchange for a forked coin, is simply a sure way to lose one's bitcoins, and not receive any forked coin (this has recently been in the news media and is a serious problem in the crypto economy).

Well you may also wish to take a step back and not ask for apologies from people who are clearly acting out of justifiable outrage. Some get carried away. It happens.

While I would never accuse you of outright scam I do question your competence and business ethics.

I don't think I have to explain the competence part. The status page and this thread among others give more than enough proof.

Your utter lack of business ethics is the other thing. You have been aware of performance issues for quite some time. And instead of limiting the influx of new users until the issues are resolved, you kept buying up exchanges only to get new and new customers while you were increasingly incapable to service the existing ones. So you took a questionable gamble that most people would forgive you as soon as the issues were fixed and you would end up with a lot more customers compared to the scenario where you would seriously limit the influx of new users about 6 months ago.

@ kraken-protocol:

Hi there,

are you still interested in getting our error logs? You never got back to us after we offered to discuss these issues and provide more info here in the forum as it is an issue interesting to more users than just us?

Or are the logs posted enough for your analysis of the problem?

Last possibility. Or was it really just a try to get our Kraken identity so you can ban us there and thereby prevent more error logs from being posted?

Best regards

I'm glad you were conscientious such that you were able to post the error rates that you experienced.  I personally observed them and was interested in some of the numbers that were posted and I appreciate it.

I do think that in the end you will appreciate the upcoming improvements that developers have been preparing to launch, which will be deployed as I understand it before the 2nd week of December concludes.

And (to address your last question) - no, it is not to get an identity so someone can ban you, that would never be our intent. Thanks for expressing yourself here.

Sent a request ticket to the support (884326). (...)

While this was already addressed by kraken-septimus earlier, I wanted to add that it looks like this has been handled by an agent at this point.  I am under the impression there's still something on the ticket that you would like to see get accomplished relating to a change the account type, and if that's the case please escalate the ticket again at https://goo.gl/forms/2VolutBY6HBGJRRA3 so that it can be brought to our attention, and we'll have available staff look at it.

Hi CrazYballS61. Did you have a chance to escalate that ticket? Could you please also provide us with your ticket number?

Already done yesterday,
but here again, 886873 is my ticket number.

Have you tried generating a new withdrawal address?  This is sometimes the best way around the issue you were experiencing.

As I understand it, you're having trouble withdrawing.  Some clients have issues with their older withdrawal addresses.  Without getting into that here, it may help to generate a new address to withdraw to, then add that as a new withdrawal address, and verify it. If you have trouble doing that, report it in your ticket.

I'm tier 3 verified.

Hi Everyone.

We are aware of intermittent issues with accessing the withdrawal, deposit and verification pages. The intermittent issues may have resulted in errors such as:
  • Feature disabled
  • Verification tier upgrade needed
  • Service unavailable

We apologise for these issues. Our developers are working hard to mitigate the issues, but you may still experience errors when accessing the withdrawal, deposit or verification pages.

If you are having a different issue please be sure to open a ticket here and escalate that ticket here

Thank you for understanding.

Anyone is able to trade on Kraken without breaking their computers? Any alternatives for EU citizens to withdraw EUR?

Thanks!
