1. Two months ago, set up bank, send test wire for $15. Wire goes through no problem.
2. Two nights ago, sell some BTC for USD, try to wire balance out to same bank, same setup.
3. Transaction sits in PENDING status for 12 hours. Then switches to FAILURE status.
4. No explanation or further information in details.
5. Yesterday morning, try again. New transaction, same amount, same bank.
6. Transaction sits in pending for 4 hours.
7. Open support ticket.
8. No response to ticket for 6 hours.
9. Reach out to twitter team.
10. Get automated response from twitter account about connectivity and performance issues.
11. See escalation form on that account.
12. Last night, escalate ticket using form.
13. This morning, get a "we've assigned your ticket, please wait" response.
14. This afternoon, log in to check account.
15. The cash balance is showing up in my available balance, so I know the second wire failed.
16. I cannot *see* the failure, however, because, now, ALL ACCESS TO DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAWAL functionality seems to have been terminated on my account. When I go to Funding tab, get message "Feature Disabled - This feature is not currently available."
17. Send all this information back to Twitter team.
18. Get same automated response about performance issues (What? This is not a "performance" or a "connectivity" issue, it's a WITHDRAWAL issue!)
19. Response tells me to escalate ticket again.
20. Add all information to ticket. Re-escalate ticket. Go hunt for a sedative.
I still can't get my USD funds out, I still can't tell why the wires failed, and I still can't get to anyone who can help.
In a panic, I am posting here, since there seem to be people here who know how to handle these things, and since I appear to be all out of sedatives.
