I hate to bump an old dead thread, but had no idea about this project until I was looking for some smartglasses. They are the best looking and cheapest on the market, although the Bose frames had gotten better reviews in terms of sound quality in every review I read.

I see that the tokens are on a few DEXs but I'm not interested in buying some ETH and trying out that mess of a chain right now. The spread is also ridiculous and the volume is non-existent.

If anyone wants to do a tiny OTC deal (like $5 or $10 worth) I'm looking to buy some LCD tokens. You send first or hopefully we can find an escrow for a small deal. I have XBT or grin. Send a DM if you're interested since I likely won't check back here.

Hey all, we have a nice update coming out tomorrow on the blog at lucyd.co.

I'd like to remind everyone that since the ICO, we have not only become the first to deliver prescription soundglasses around the world (glasses with bluetooth audio and control), we have also become the first retailer of prescription eyewear that accepts cryptocurrency.

If some of you contributed but were not aware, two weeks ago we did a promo where we were accepting LCD tokens for glasses from Lucyd.co. Since some of you may not have seen this, please email [email protected] if you are interested in participating.

Best,

Hello, Lucyd team! I'm really concerned about the price of LCD token as it fell down by more than 95%. Even though the elaboration of the high tech product takes time and you've been following the roadmap, please would you shed the light on your plans about the LCD's listing? Thanks in advance.
This is typical for almost all tokens on the market. The market is now not in the best condition and regardless of the progress in the development of all tokens fell in price
Exactly. Do not pay much attention to the price today. Each project has suffered a fall in this market. All that interests me is the reduction in volume and the threat of delisting. It will be better, if liquidity is maintained.

Of course, liquidity is important. And what is important today is compliance with the roadmap. You can see that the project already has its own store, selling glasses with different designs. This is evidence that the team is working. Prototype is being developed.
After the announcement of the release of the prototype glasses, with the additional reality, and the implementation of the token ecosystem, the question of liquidity will become more acute. Until that time, we just need to wait for the Q1 2019.

I was here during the ICO.. did anybody receive the test product that was promised?
Grin Grin Grin
I think not. Otherwise, it would have already been vigorously discussed here. I have not yet seen the announcement of testing a prototype with previously declared functions.

You're right, but that's pretty bad. With all the patents in place and the presented design, it shouldn't have been this long before prototypes were sent out to large early investors.

It's still an interesting idea though, so I'll keep checking back here Cheesy

Hello. The prototype Lucyd Lens is scheduled for Q1 2019 and this hasn't changed. The development is very private by necessity.

We have however delivered above and beyond our whitepaper, with the lucyd.co eshop. This was never in our original roadmap and is a fully functioning, global shop for innovative eyewear. Not many ICO's deliver a real, unique service only a few months after the funding round closed. It is also a price leader in the online eyewear space, and the FIRST store in the WORLD to accept cryptocurrency for prescription eyewear. We are also currently letting ICO participants purchase glasses with our LCD token.

I wasn't aware of the store, I'll check that out soon.

I was under the impression that the prototype would be sent out a couple of months after the ICO ended. That's what I could remember reading when signing up for the ICO, but I could be wrong. Looking forward to Q1 2019 then! Thanks for replying!
Yes, if it is better, just ask the project manager to get clearer information, but if not, just follow the development of this project to make it clearer and not miss the information and also look forward to Q1 2019 later

Lucyd is going all the way! All of the founders are still working on the project full time, and despite some setbacks thanks to the crypto market, we still intend to realize our whitepaper plans.

Everything good takes time. Lucyd ICO started under a year ago and we have made excellent progress so far. This is a passion project and we are VERY serious about making this into a serious company, serious brand, serious token.

Yes, here you are right. Not everyone does more than promises. Today, just, many can not cope with their plans. And I visited your store page. There everything looks pretty great. Already there is a large selection, and pretty girls Grin, marketing, I understand everything.
However, there is some concern from investors. This is related to the actual functionality of the token in the ecosystem of a Lucyd. I hope this will work as indicated in the white paper. Or maybe you will do more. I noticed that you like to do more. Grin

Guys, why is so bad situation with LCD trade? Does it means that there is no any interest of investors to this project?
The developers have made it clear that trading a token and its price is not a priority for them. We'll have to wait for the token to start functioning
I think that this is logical. If there is no quality product, then the functional of the token will not be interesting to anyone. Therefore, we must wait, first the product, and then the functionality of the ecosystem of the token, as indicated in the white paper.
The functionality of the token is likely to be of no interest to anyone in the future. It is quite possible that the team will even abandon it in the future because it can work without it. Investors are only interested in profit, and it does not need a working product and functionality. This requires exchanges and marketing
However, the token function is posed in white paper. It is clear that the team has no urgent need for this. The interest of investors lies in the functionality of the token. Failure to do so, may affect the reputation from the side community. I hope the team will not joke with this.
