i have like 40% of my miner total hash reported on pool, crap

I have 4 rigs, that should have 19,600 h/s.
Nanopool only show 12,100 h/s.

Maybe it just needs time to update, it only been about 20 minutes.
I'll report back in 1 hour.
For me  displayed small hashrate for 3 hours. I have a 3600 MH / s and now shows 624 Mh / s.

After mining on Nanopool for 2 hours, the hashrate has normalized.
Nanopool showing 19,344 h/s
Miner showing 19,600 h/s

Pretty accurate

With just 6 AMD cards i found 3 blocks in the past 3 days.
It looks like the party is over. Shocked Shocked

With my 5 AMD cards i found 0 blocks in past 3 days, never had luck to coins, always prices rising after i sell or always miss some trains etc.. Tryed many times solo with new coins, never got any block
For me pool is good, cause i get at least any coins, at least now when party is over ;-)

What is the real global hashrate??

On the Pascal Block explorer is 4.7 TH, but just nano is 8.7 TH.

 Huh Huh Huh

wooho 9,05 TH on nanopool, 4 hours ago was 250 GH ... whattomine show global nethash 9,07 ... all hashrate from nanopool ;-)
I think rather after first pool big mining farms decided to join party and just sites not refreshed global nethash stats (pascal block explorer never show right amount)

Analyzing the numbers of the nanopool, contrary to what it was previously thought, it seems that with the appearance of a pool it was even more unfair for small miners.

Look that guy for ex: https://pasc.nanopool.org/account/86646.3fd34e92fb767dbf?noredirect=true

In solo minning even with that huge hashrate, he had to count on "luck", now no more.

PASCAL MINING PROFITABILITY CALCULATOR

Check the target.  Currently its 327A4348

Take the first 2 bits "32" and change from HEX into DEC and you get 50

Take

2^50= 1,125,899,906,842,624 hashes

Now look at the 3rd bit, its 7. Take 7 / 16 = 0.4375

Take 0.4375 * 1,125,899,906,842,624 = 492,581,209,243,648

Add that to the original 2^50

1,125,899,906,842,624 + 492,581,209,243,648 = 1,618,481,116,086,272 hashes on average to find 1 block.

If your farm is 1 GH/s

1,618,481.116086272 seconds to find a block

Or 26,974.685268104533333333333333333 Minutes to find a block

Or 449.57808780174222222222222222222 Hours to find a block

Or 18.7 Days to find a block.

So as usual as soon as a pool arrives the coins profitability is down the tubes and profitability is equal to ZEC, ETH and XMR mining right now. Unless the difficulty goes down or price goes back up.

How about the accounts mined in nanopool? are they going to distribute it?

ya nanopool is not updating the stats... or at least it hasn't changed for me in over an hour  Huh Yet my miners continue to hash and find blocks/shares. Strange, just hope we are getting our credit for our shares correctly.

nano is always crap, so much less(only got 1/10 from my earning) when mining in here, i think their bad code share based on 24h hashrate or another miss calculation

with pools going active, is pascal coin worthy of solo mining? like was with ETH back then (chances of getting more coins doing solo instead of using pools).

any opinion on minimum hash rate for solo mining?

BTW it is also good to look at your wallet "current target" like 31B0B194 and your miner should have the same target. seen my miner with different target and i have to restart the miner to have the right target.

i think it is.. i'm setting a rig aside to silently solo mine this coin.

being late to the table, the fact that you need to research properly to mine this coin effectively was a big factor in my initial buy-in, and the account distribution being limited to block finders is something that makes keeping a wallet open and mining a worthwhile endeavor.

i didn't unload anywhere near the top but with the advent of some pools here the dump was inevitable and predictable.

although i would have preferred a coin code-base ported to assembler instead of pascal, the fact that we're far below when i did dump my wad means i've set my buy to re-enter this market and i'd advise others to do likewise.

we all as miners have treated many scams
hashrate we have not get the appropriate reward
developers never give full support
while the pool is always steal some hashrate we have

Hey everyone, updated the CUDA GPU miner with some of KlausT's improvements: https://github.com/Vorksholk/PascalCoin-CUDA/releases/tag/v1.04

No promise that the new miner can actually mine blocks, but if anyone gets a block with this, please let the rest of us know. About 360% performance improvements, I'm getting around 900 MH/s on an overclocked 1080.

I've also seen some people worried about the PascalCoin wallet saying "Error: Proof of work is higher than target payload." This isn't a problem--the way my miner works (and presumably some others that are floating around now, although I haven't looked at the code for them) is by submitting shares that meet a target of 24000000. Note that we are currently on track for a target of 31000000 soon, which is 8192 times higher, so you should expect to see, on average, 8192 of those errors per actual block mined. The miner is submitting shares to the wallet, effectively. These shares don't count for anything unless they meet the target.

Your miner works!

I just found two blocks in rapid succession (with only one block between them  Cheesy) with a rather low hashrate.

Awesome, thanks!!

@Vorksholk - does this look correct?

what version of ati drivers you used?

I'm getting the best hashrate using the lastest 17.1.1 drivers.

16.3.2 performs about the same as 17.1.1

15.12 drivers are the slowest.
