I've been with this project since day one. Looking forward to the day, when the dapps go live and PPY starts to generate income from the betting. The thing I'm most excited about is the potential for sports betting. Crypto needs sports betting......
You should check https://wagerr.com/wagerr_whitepaper_v1.pdf. Specific use case for betting and fully decentralised. As a bettor, I'm more likely to use that. PPY might be a good casino, though.

Eight is geared towards allowing any developer to create a dApp.

you don't know whether the project is dead? Did I miss something? I mean, if you don't know it, then who the heck could know it?
Project is fine. Apparently, just a drama filled evening from a holder on Telegram. But Brendan's comment from the beginning of the chat was reposted. Apparently he is an investor. That's not something terrible to find out considering that Peerplays and EOS are both Graphene projects.

As for devs profiting from their creations, I think that they can set up their own parameters...it's up to them. I imagine more info on that will be available when Eight is finally released.
Ok I see. I am holding tight anyway, but there were some really insane dumps. Regardless, I think this can turn into something for sure!

Peerplays is not dead. The price has fallen due to JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon's comments about bitcoin, as well as China's clampdown on bitcoin and exchanges. The market is simply taking a breather.

I still have unclaimed ICO tokens. Is there a deadline to claim them or can I wait forever before claiming?
They'll remain there forever until you claim them.
Helmbet testnet is released. I know. Apparently the witnesses need to get their part of the thing going, which ties in with Eight, prior to actual launch.
At any rate, if you are interested in checking out what it will look like, download the Windows dApp here.
NOTE - You will have to create a testnet account first here. Then use that login information on the downloaded dApp.
So...apparently, we're waiting on the witnesses...who were only given partial information a day or two ago.

Their release of the new game is coming up very shortly. We will know then if the developers are hard at work with a product to show or if it's a bunch of vapor ware. Me, I'm pretty confident we will all be impressed. Gonna start gathering some more coins before this big release.
