hi
the price of gold ore was 39 and then I bought 160 ores and the price jumped to 51 per ore. Then price went down to 41 and bought 60 ores again and  the price jumped to 61 per ore. This is not normal. You said slight change of price (this is slight for you).
Blueprints are useless because of high prices. I dont want to jump to other sectors just to buy ores.
I would rather have cooldowns than this. Are you planning this to stay

The learning curve of the game at the beginning is quite steep. It would be a good idea to make some video tutorials showing how to do things now with the new SG2 interface, even coming from the SG1 things are confusing.

Absolutely! Anyone who provides such a thing will receive lots of gratitude from the team.

  • [ENC] Allow planet owners to set crafting fees.*
  • [ENC] Marketplace orders/offers can't be recalled for 1 hour.**
  • [ENC] Marketplace storage induces no wait time.**
  • [ENC] AJAX'ify approaching. No more page reloads when using engines.
  • [ENC] New escort job type.
  • [BUG] Icons missing in Merchant/Equipment listing.
  • [SG2] Jobs in profile were never refreshing, leading to outdated status.

*The crafting cooldowns are now calculated differently and take factory levels (and factory configuration) into account. To this end, planet owners can now "rent out" their factories and refineries by taking a fee for each unit crafted (all item types share the same fee, sorry).

Even if you don't take advantage of any of this, base cooldowns have been reduced.

If you encounter something weird, like an item that takes too much time to craft, don't hesitate to post it here, as some things might've gone off the rails.

**The marketplace storage is no longer time-delayed (the delay was originally implemented to discourage people from posting and recalling offers too quick). From now on, orders and offers have their own timer (same 1 hour), liberating the storage from it.

NPCs can now run out of stock, encouraging more travel between stations. NPC truckers no longer fly around just for flavor, the cargo they bring actually gets added to the merchant, so you can expect slight price changes even between re-rolls.

Again, if you see something that looks out of place, please report it.



Also, we have reached 150 FB likes, thanks to our players! SpeedZoom will be activated on the weekend.

The same happens to me sometimes when I use the game fron the phone with data connection, is that your case freecryptomoney.com?

In myu case after a while the problem solves by itself.

I stopped playing because of that, I was playing a while, already had understood the game,
but for example if you go to a extreme side point, to come back have to spend time and time and spend something i don't remember now....

That's too bad. I don't know when you left, but we have been constantly improving the situation for the newbies, including cheap used equipment to see some options without much grind, extra ship speed for newbie ships, increased mining rewards, etc. (Among minor interface things, that should make things easier).

According to my knowledge, it works more like that:

Out of 10000 ad views, 1000 click.
Out of 1000 people who visit the page, 100 sign up.
Out of 100 sign ups, only 10 are able to mine their first asteroid (due to UI being confusing or language barrier).
Out of 10 who mined their first asteroid, 9 leave immediately because the gain is something like 12 satoshi.

So while I agree, that increasing rewards might help us retain some players, I'd argue improving the interface and/or translating the page would be much more helpful on grand scale.

Correct. This is the most common exploitation pattern in many, many online games: register new account, get newbie rewards/newbie equipment, send to other character/withdraw, repeat.

That's true, I do that sometimes :( In this particular instance, however, I was just trying to clarify what's potential bug and what is intended behavior.

There is definitely something wrong with ship durability.  I've gone down 4 points since yesterday, and I haven't been wrecked once.

It happens when you receive large amount of damage, not specifically during wreckage, it's also random AND (here's something I wasn't aware of) - your fleet overhead affects the roll.

Yeah, we know about the issue, but it looks like we're down to 2 options with that ad network - which are all or nothing. :(

How is your ship durability doing? It directly affects the rate of durability loss for equipment.

Dear Toecutter, I think the current way durability works is pretty sucky.

If I recall correctly, we kinda tuned this together and people were pretty happy with it back then.

I'm losing a durability point practically every time I get shot.

That doesn't sound right, I'll ask for clarifications from the devs.

I think the rate of drop is unsustainable given the amount of sats you can make these days  Undecided

Good point, it's much less sats now, so I suppose the durability rates should've been dialed down too.
