SG2 sometimes gets confused about item prices. This was reported by online digger sometime ago. If that happens to you (things look similar to your screenshot), try refreshing the page, that should help.

Update.

  • [SG2] Add Ship Info button to see additional ship stats.
  • [SG2] Make ship popups show actual ship info instead of base stats.
  • [ENC] Add Speed stat.*

The speed stat reduces cooldown time and energy cost for thrusters.
Right now, only two ships (Buckshot and Buckaneer) have >0 of that stat.
Buckshots should help newbies with exploration and delivery jobs.
Buckaneers can serve as designated scout ships.
Navigation skill also adds to this stat (independently of ship type), so advanced players will be able to gain some benefits too.

  • [SG2] Make buff/debuff indicators always visible.
  • [SG2] Add ability to view map notes of stations/planets without entering map screen.

* This is an attempt to fix things like x3 (or x5?!) damage and make things behave more sanely.

** By the way, you guys asked what would happen if engines break down mid-flight. Apparantely, nothing too drastic. When you try to use them, there's still a chance they'll work. Thus, a hypothetic ship with everything broken will still be able to make it to a station to make repairs and/or replace the equipment.

Hi.

There was a bug (introduced around December, I think), which made broken equipment behave as good as new. We have fixed it.

You can find the complete timeline right here on this thread (but you will have to read lots and lots of pages).

This is my first time typing on here I think but what do you mean it has been part of the game for 7 months I have use broken and failing lasers since crafting update and it did no difference in damage and the engines update was new to so plz help me understand that

Hi.

There was a bug (introduced around December, I think), which made broken equipment behave as good as new. We have fixed it.

I do not know what is at the sentence: "It's no fun anymore" is not to be understood. I am also tired of posting my experience and opinion about Satoshi galaxy. I consider it a mistake to not listen to the players who post their experience with the game here. This means that fewer and fewer players will play the game every day and will share their impressions and opinions with you. This is my opinion. Too bad to be treated according to the motto: "eat or die". It is absolutely no fun if the equipment does not work 100%. It's no fun that I just have to work for new equipment day and night to work with the new equipment again for new equipment. This is madness. It is no fun that I 3! Engines need to take a leap into the next system. What shoud that? What is your intention? Do you really think that these changes will keep the current players in the game? Do you really think that you will win more players? It is my opinion and I think if this balancing remains, you will lose your player and prevent new players. No, I'm not begging you to change something about the game because I'm no matter what you do. I will continue every day as long as it is possible to play SG and customize each new update. Thank you for your attention.

By a rough estimation, new equipment will work fine for about 6 months. That's more than enough to recuperate the costs. If you buy broken or failing equipment, of course you'd have troubles with it.

I don't know what else to tell you. Clearly you don't like this feature (which is part of the game for more than 7 months already), I appreciate that.

Sometimes when I jump in system it`s able instantly to land on some planet, no need to approach. Is that normal?

Well, the obvious answer is that it's some kind of a bug, I've added it to the list, thank you.

On the other hand, I can think of several reasons it could be normal. For example, a planet might be nearby a jumpgate.

Are you sure your ship durability is fine?

Ship durability 0/100

That means each time you use a piece of equipment, you will lose 1 durability point on it. If your ship durability is fine, the chance is much much lower. All that is explained in the manual.

Sure, if it used 3 times per day Grin Yesterday repaired spitters have 50% or less durability. Missing target decrease durability, with <40% you have chance deal 1 damage and for ending:
3 privateers with 5 spitters MK III killing pirate in about two waves and get loot: 1 guiding program or no loot at all Cheesy

That's too fast. Are you sure your ship durability is fine?

Same with weapon, 33/99 make 1 damage but some times make 10, broken deal 1 or 2 if critical, but what this? http://prntscr.com/ei5wwy  Shocked

Out of curiosity, does this happen when you fire multiple spitters in quick succession?

Btw, traveling now is cutted by half anyway, not because of engines(new implemented engine doesn`t help too) but because of reactors and energy rate. 2x jump+2x approach is 200 energy. That means I can jump max 2 systems far in 10 min instead 5 before update....
