mrcashking contacted me.

He is about to transfer the admin rights to the facebook site over to me,
because he has no time anymore to run it.

What a cool guy, I hope the transfer goes well.

[rant] Look, you lot.

I kept getting loads of PMs from March asking me not to bid on SPR so they could accumulate (you know who you are).

Now, I need 5k for a bounty, you keep upping the bloody prices on the exchange. Stop it.

5k order is at 10001. Let some namby pamby trader dump into it please.

It's already cost me 30% more than a week ago.

Decentralize Everything
bump

I'm trying to get my head around this auction to get a servicenode concept, or more specifically, how it will work in practice.

Testnet's still operational. Dunno whether there are any mn-test binaries still around but as for Linux:

Code:
$ git clone https://github.com/spreadcoin/spreadcoin.git
$ cd spreadcoin
$ git checkout mn-test
$ qmake-qt
$ make
$ mkdir $HOME/.spreadtest2coin
$ cat < $HOME/.spreadtest2coin/spreadcoin.conf
rpcuser=spreadcoinrpc
rpcpassword=made-up-password
listen=1
server=1
testnet=1
addnode=104.131.246.114:51678
addnode=5.9.56.229:51678
mnstart=1
EOF
$ ./spreadcoin-qt -testnet
Use the Mining tab to start mining - or PM me with your testnet wallet default address for some testnet coins. Wait for confirmation. Send an easy-to-recognise amount (e.g. 911.911911) of nSPR (testnet Spreadcoin) to your wallet's default address. WAIT FOR FULL CONFIRMATION. Check the Masternode tab (the mn-test codebase hails from Masternode times), look for your easy-to-recognise amount or look for an empty checkbox in the nearly-all-blank Control column --- it's just near-impossible to spot at first when scrolling but you'll get your eye in fairly quickly. Tick the checkbox. You have promoted your vanilla node to service node status. You may now return to watching TV (nose-picking optional, I feel).

I'll now actually have to double-check that the address of the incumbent at #100 drops off the end when my 911.911911 clears and my node appears in the list.
Yup, it did.

Cheers

Graham

anyone wanna do some pre-round 3 testing, testing?

I'll install Ubuntu in virtual box and have a go.

is there a nSPR faucet somewhere?

Great looking web site.

+101

Thanks coins101. I must admit, it is just a rework of a site's design I inherited. Original owners did a great job, front & back end. Hopefully there'll be a few people buying when we launch.

Please respond quickly as my time is limited.

They are called servicenodes,
Don't let the door hit you on your way out!

Have you managed to get the masternodes working or do you need help with that? I have a few days while the BCR community responds to some questions.

Please respond quickly as my time is limited.

Morning all, just wanted to jump in and introduce myself. I've been following SpreadCoin for quite a bit now, though my main interest has been Dash. I've got an Android app that quite a few people are using  called My Masternodes Pro, which is a masternode monitor and alert tool. I've also recently acquired the buydash.co.uk site.

I've reconfigured large parts of buydash.co.uk to work with SpreadCoin and changed the look and feel to match. I understand that volumes, this early down the road, are pretty small. I am confident that this will change and would like to try and offer an easy way for people to buy SpreadCoin.

I'd also be really keen to develop mobile apps / tools that may slot into SPR ServiceNode ownership, once everything starts moving properly in that area.

I'd say the buyspreadcoin.co.uk site is pretty much finished and I want to spend a little while longer testing beofre launch, but I've uploaded a few screenshots in the meantime.

Also, thanks very much to StoneHedge for help and advice. Certainly owe him a beer or two with the constant questions.

Great looking web site.

Downloading now. I've actually gone from all Apple / Microsoft to some Microsoft and mostly open source now. Can't see me going back on most things.

The only things I've struggled to shake are the Adobe products, as I've not found anything better or as good. I've got a subscription and use Photoshop and Illustrator every day.

im no designer - but i like to dabble ...

i personally dont have much time but its always good to have a collection of products to draw from ...

They can be as 'covert' and 'spread' in the way the operate - but the world isnt allowed to be 'anonymous' and 'decentralized' in the way we all operate ...

double standards much? ...

Double standards is the very definition of government.

They are allowed to do what you and I are not.
Their ends always justify their means, but no moral being would follow such a rule.

i know many a moral and God fearing being that work there - and as such - NEED to follow this rule in order to survive ( work and eat and have a roof over their heads ) ...

but i do know what you mean ... and unfortunate as it is - we ALL live by these rules that are imposed on us ...

in any case - lets all move toward a more fair way of living ...
