I placed my order a few months ago for October shipping, paid through the recommended SquareUp portal, then had the charge reverse by SquareUp (leaving me 2% forex out of pocket)

Still waiting to pay, but I know Dave has far bigger things to worry about for now.

Looks like all OCT h-boards are gone now. Glad I ordered more earlier.

Maybe because of demand they can direct more of them towards Dave. Smiley

I got more H-boards to sell in October!

C'mon Dave, get the CC situation straightened out.  It's been over a month.  You're losing a lot of sales!  I'm up for 4 more H Boards if I can use a CC.

Take it up with the banks...they are the ones that are blocking us.

The crew and I took a well needed weekend off - we've all been working non stop for 3 weeks straight.  Back to it Monday...

Dave,
where are you on the balance of Aug Deliveries?
Will you be replacing the v1 M boards with the v2 M boards?

BUMP!
I would like an answer to my question.

I've bought 8 without it working.  You enter payment type as bank draft, then add a note that you want to pay via CC.  Your order is reserved and holds its place in line, and they'll get back to you about paying with your CC when they get it straightened out.  What's the problem with that?

Poor impulse control.
Well now, that's just plain silly. Share submission difficulty is not an integer value, why do they try to make it one?
Powers of two are a little easier to work with, and there's no disadvantage, so why not ?

OK. I can't see why powers of two would be easier to work with, but then I don't write pool software Smiley

I apologise to all for the OT.

Why round down? Why not just leave at, say, ghps/1.6 (as per ckolivas' post)?
Because most pools work in powers of two.

EMC starts at diff 2 and increases it automatically to what it considers the proper value, you can't set it manually.

The rule of thumb for difficulty is, divide your Gh/s by 1.6, then round down to the nearest power of two.

60 Gh/s / 1.6 =  37.5  nearest power of two to that value is 32...

You mean 36 (6x6)? how did you arrive to 32?
In addition, if I am using 2 concurrent pools , I guess I'd need to input my total hashrate divided by 2 in the formula to calculate it at the pool level, correct?

I'm just trying to figure out why my hashrate is much less than my noncerate even after 24hrs of supposedly automatic share difficulty adjustment...

I am using slush pool diff 26 with 25Gh/s starter kit  and in pool I got 26558.817 Mhash/s

I'm using slush with diff 16 -- it was the suggested diff.

Do you know if I can change the difficulty for the EclipseMC pool? I don't seem to find where

Is there a good rule of thumb to set the right difficulty relative to my hashrate?

Why is my Noncerate about 20% higher than the pools' reported hashrate?  My queue fluctuates between 1 and 8  :-/

What pool are you on?

I'm using EclipseMC (us3.eclipsemc.com) and OzcoIn under Stratum and port 3333. In both pools the reported hashrate is lower than what I'm seeing locally as Noncerate...
