We need scam community to pump this coin and promote it so we can dump our coin on them and get them back for our time

Today is D-Day on Bittrex. Is this the end for XC?

No, it's not  Smiley

XC DEVs emailed Bittrex and informed them XC is still very actively developed, so that must have reassured them about future XC volumes  Cool

XC is still more advanced coin and have more better solution for privacy related issues, future is belongs to XC and strong believers because it's backed by very professional team, all members who are active on slack they know better what they plan have for its future.

XC is recovering nicely. Won't be long now till fair valuation. Don't miss out.  Wink

Now only trading in bittrex, XC was a top 10 coin right? I can't believe it is dead nowadays, but the team still runs blocknet, which is not dead

To commodify ethicality is to ethicise the market
Glad to see recent news about XC.
Thanks guys for the work and not dropping everything.
Still holding, still at loss, but I keep the hope it will go up. Especially watching the work done around BLOCK.

Problem: I can't join Slack nor can I log on XC website.

- Subscription on xcurrency.slack.com are limited to 3 email provider. Can't even create new address on those so I'm stuck out. I did not manage to get an invite.
- Also, subscription on xcurrency.co is buggy.
Creating a new account give me: "Unable to send e-mail. Contact the site administrator if the problem persists."

- On xcurrency.com
New account I get: The name panonym is already taken. The e-mail address panonym[[at}}ymail.com is already registered.
If I put the password I remember: "The username panonym has not been activated or is blocked."
When I ask a new password: "Sorry, panonym[[at}}ymail.com is not recognized as a user name or an e-mail address."

Gonna try to move these XC to cold storage. 'About time Grin

Cool, DM me the email address you want invited to Slack. We can figure it out.

Just found this new thread thanks to xcurry's post in the Blocknet thread. Good to know XCurrency is still alive and kicking. Thanks xcurry! Smiley

Since I'm not on slack I haven't been able to find any info about this coin since around 2 years ago, as the thread and website went defunct...so I am just wondering what's been happening and where it's at today. When I was last following it, version 3.0 was around the corner, and it was still closed source and therefore not trustless...and I think there was an android phone wallet app in the works. So I'm just gonna throw a few questions out there and if anyone can help get me up to speed that would be awesome!

What version is XCurrency on now, and is the current version open source?
How does the anonymity compare to say XMR or SDC...or even a BTC mixing service given advanced blockchain analytics? I know DASH relies on trusting masternodes so it is not trustless.
Is the p2p encrypted messaging also trustless and open source?
Any news on the mobile wallet?
Also regarding Blocknet...can an Ethereum smart contract interface with the decentralized exchange? For example: Could a smart contract be created where someone could send Ethereum to it which would then be exchanged for a different coin and sent anonymously to a different user?

Also just a heads up: The block explorer at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/ says the hosting has expired, and the twitter account points to http://ww12.xc-official.com/ rather than www.xcurrency.co

Hey hey. Apologies for the delayed reply.

Yes, XC was open sourced about a year ago. Check out ATCsecure's GitHub repo.

The anonymity claims we made about XC back in 2014 still stand:
- https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/introducing-xmixer-earn-revenue-xcurrencys-trustless-mixing-1410910372

I think it's an epic anonymity solution, and the first ever coinshuffle implementation too.

The contractor we got to do the mobile wallet did nothing worth keeping.

Regarding the Blocknet and Ethereum, yes, they're interoperable, and we're currently testing our implementation before making it generally available.
Currently, you can exchange tokens to send to Ethereum contracts. Generic service delivery (e.g. coins plus data) is not available yet though.

There's a tempting use-case for XC in the form of a BTC mixer dapp. It would contain:
- a BTC SPV wallet
- an XC SPV wallet
- xbridge (from the Blocknet)
It would first trade BTC for XC via the decentralised exchange, then it would anonymise the XC, and then exchange back to BTC.
Kind-of perfect as a tech demo.
