No major issues on MTP. Miner development is a bit slower than we expected because djm34 is currently relocating his home but all soon will become clear Cheesy

Our devs are now working on those experiencing the sync issues as we think it's critical we iron these out.

As for those claiming that the dev is just a 'Bitcoin clone', try think why it has taken so long for anyone else to implement the Zerocoin protocol and try to code something from purely an academic paper (MTP). We have many coins eager to implement the Zerocoin technology and we understand that there are attempts to code independent implementations of it (which we applaud since it only serves to make the tech stronger), we remain currently the only original implementation of it. We aren't resting on our laurels however and are eager to improve our Zerocoin implementation which we will see over the coming months.

Reminds me of my last job where we had meetings to discuss future meetings, drove me nuts.

Reason is pretty simple.

If we announce the news now, media no longer wants to pick it up because it's 'old news' and we don't get the coverage we want. This was confirmed from our consultation with our newly appointed PR company.

At the same time, we don't want investors to think that we are simply teasing. If we release the news out of no where, there will be accusations of 'insider' trading but frankly, anyone who follows this coin in BCT, Slack, Telegram or even Twitter would know what this announcement would be. Our github commits are descriptive. We are excited and we know that many people have been hounding us DAILY for news updates so the announcement is more to say 'hang on guys, there will be an announcement and this is the timeframe to expect it in' so please don't chase Cheesy

. But at the end of the day, investing is your own business decision and we are all in it for the long term. The fact that the founder's wallets all remain relatively untouched despite massive profits is a strong testament to that.

The announcement is for the benefit of the people who have been faithfully following and patiently waiting for us all these months.

Yep i sold around 630k , been thinking this last few days. I'm out all of the coins that aren't community projects, or don't have a reasonable funding model. The more i thought i can't wrap my head around the fact that it's a 20% fee! It's simply not sustainable neither reasonable.

- It's crypto world, no friends in business. Devs and zcoin team are here for money too.
- We know MTP testing will be for may / june / jully. If you continue to play during this period, You have to accept to loose somes coins. Personnaly, I stop playing last week for same reason describe here.

Well okay - since you ask, it benefits me in the short term, but I find it highly improper for a developer to announce a week before that a week later an announcement will be made. To me the it's unprofessional, even if it is motivated by a desire to pump XZC and even if I benefit from it in the short term.

it's so good . I can see the price is rising up so high nowadays it's must be relative to some good news released in this month.
just go and buy some coins before it can hit 30$ in next weeks and I hope this MTP will be released for this month.
