i've dropped my intensity from 20 to 15 and the reject rate has dropped to zero. Unfortunately the Hash rate has dropped so much that the Profitability is now less than wafflepool with a 1% reject rate.

i'll adjust the Intensity until i can find a sweet spot and hopefully end up with a better profitability than Wafflepool.

The other advantage of a lower Hash rate is that the card temp is lower and as such i would guess my power consumption has dropped as well. i'm going to buy a WeMo plug today for some Wattage tracking.

I am running it for last 2 days. Why is my profitability 34% less than the pool and is there any settings to be done in CGminer

Yes you can decrease Intensity in order to reduce rejected. I'm doing an experiment to see if this can help as it has been reported by Terk (admin) but I was not yet clear whether it actually works. Here you can find one sheet where I did a comparison (still in progress) between I = 20 and I = 17. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B-_UkIrGZYray8jb4K3Jnwx3JgweBHdaTCxgccgtFio/edit?usp=sharing

so they are shares that i actually lost? or they may be eventually accepted and i will see that number lowering?

From what I understand they should not affect your hashrate and are not counted among the rejected, the correct figure is in line GPU0.

This thing has already been applied several times:

When cgminer sends shares via stratum, it does not send the share and then wait for the response as this might slow down the sending of other shares. This means that the response back from the pool is processed separately from the share submission (to make the most of a truly multithreaded environment). However there is never a guarantee that the responses come back in the same order you send them. So cgminer stores a copy of each share as it sends it to the server in its own local database of submitted shares. When it gets a response back about that share from the pool, it deletes the copy of that share. Now stratum is meant to be an uninterrupted connection to the pool, and if you lose that connection, it is assumed that your "session" is no longer valid. So if you send some shares and get disconnected before you get a response, cgminer has to assume that those shares have been lost - otherwise it may end up keeping copies of heaps of shares that it will never get a response to and wastes memory. If you manage to reconnect, sometimes the pool will actually tell you "oh by the way those shares are ok" - however cgminer has now thrown out the record of what those shares were and can only say that the pool said a share was accepted or rejected. Then cgminer just says it's an "untracked share"." (c) ckolivas

Pool is growing.
Are there plans for EU server ?
I just started testing this pool and I'm also interested in this. My reject % is a bit high right now (7-8%).
Search the thread.  This has already been asked, and addressed.

1. My rejection Rate is very High bRejected: 83.9 kH/s (13.8%)

2. I am running Sapphire R9 280X. The cgminer show avg 728 KH/s where as on the website 631.7 kH/s 24-hour Average.

3. As per the website  the  BTC per day is 0.01218 BTC/day per MH/s.Based on this calculation the BTC/day for 700 KH/s must be .008526. However i have only 0.00565835 BTC. i e 34% less than pool profitability.

Please advise

How long are you using the pool? Expect at least a day before drawing conclusions. it is true that the percentage of rejected is still high but the values of profitability is not wrong!

What does "Rejected untracked stratum share" mean?

I gave this pool a chance and mined as long as I was not leasing out my rig. But the very high rejectrate is killing. Lowering my Intensity is not an option, because it will hurt my leasing income. This night CGwatcher restarted my miner twice because of extremely high rejects, 15% is about the lowest I had.

I read you are looking into a EU server. Hope that will lower the rejects for us Europeans. Lag and high-ping could be the culprit of getting higher rejects because a US miner is just a tad faster on those fast coins. 1-2 Hours ago I switched back to Wafflepool and my rejectrate is next to zero.

Keep up the good work, because I really like the site and the pool. When the rejects are under control (EU Server?) I will switch back in a heartbeat.

Hi neptunus,

I saw the stats on the website, just wanna confirm it.

Initially i was abit skeptical due to the high rejected rate. Think i will give it a shot.

Thanks for the advice.

We are sometimes mining coins that are so fast that they will always result in higher rejected ratio. I make sure we are mining them only if their profitability is so high that it makes up for hashpower wasted on rejected shares, so you shouldn't worry when rejects are temporarily high again - it means it's worth it. Also, reducing intensity in your miners might help when we're mining low difficulty and fast coins (depends on GPU). I hope that our profitability is rewarding you a little bit higher rejected ratio.

I am still investigating if I can do anything more software-wise on my side to reduce rejected percentage regardless of coin type and its speed/difficulty. I have some ideas and will be testing them in my dev environment. Will keep you posted.

I have 5Gh/s Hashrate, I don't know if it will cause pool overload.
Can you send a email to [email protected] ?
Ths

You must be that miner there at the top...

Just wondering, how much electricity do you consume? O_o

5,000,000 KH/s / 750 KH/s * 250w each = 1,666,666w = 1,666.666 kW = 39999.984 kWh/day = $5999.9976/day @ $0.15 per kWh?
But you make 0.01185 * 5000 = 59.25 BTC = $35,500 a day = $29,550.0024 profit a day = $10,785,750.876 a year

anyone knows roughly hows the payout for clevermining? is it around 0.01388 BTC/day per MH/s

I want to jump ship from MC. But deciding whether to jump to clevermining or wafflepool.

Thanks for the help in advance
http://www.clevermining.com/profits

...or if you are THAT lazy, it is currently at 0.01185 BTC/day per MH/s.

Everything seems to be great except the number of rejected shares, it is very high, hope you are working on it. Thanks

The All-in-One Cryptocurrency Exchange
Mining for 1 hour, stats -- 829Kh instead of ~2.4Mh.

If you haven't been mining for the full clock hour then last hour average will show lower value. It basically sums all shares submitted by you within this hour and divides by 60 minutes. Please take a look at real-time chart or wait for the full clock hour (and then 10-20 mins to stats regenerate and website cache refresh).

Btw a little explanation on rejects : Your share is only getting rejected when you send in a share which is not actual. Actually the pool needs to notify the miner that we have a new block/coin mining and stop mining the old one. When your miner is not getting notified then happens the reject. I am sure you will be able to improve the reject ratio, but probably you will need to recode some parts of the stratum-mining, and open and EU server. You need to force the stratum-mining to notify the miner every time there is new block or new coin being mined, maybe you can make make some debugs with sniffing the packets when the stratum fails to do so.

Yes, of course miners are notified with new work about every new block and on every coin changes. There wouldn't be much hashing if they weren't receiving new block notifications.

i was having the opposite problem, i was getting 999mhash instead of 400khash :v

So looks like this is new cool place since everyones jumped MC's ship..

Are they payouts really close to the ex: .0011 btc/mh or whatever stat at the top of the site?
Also are reject %'s close to what you were getting when mining on MC?
