The threat was a hoax so in a sense nobody was actually affected. The person making the threat never had access to passwords in the first place, just a bluff that luckily nobody fell for.

Some random info:
- SPV work is in the pipeline. This is now *confirmed* to be worked on in parallel to the GUI being worked on by the UI team. SPV enables the DX to work without requiring blockchain download for each coin/wallet. GUI makes the process of using the DX user friendly and intuitive. This is amazing news imo. SPV + GUI makes this a billion dollar project.
- There are now 5 devs total and their work can be seen on the different branches on Github
- An API to expose the governance model to the web is soon to be created
- Being worked on right now is an update to the orderbook
- Next is support for additional coins

I think the SPV is not so important in this stage, first we need a good GUI, so new users can see that Blocknet will be a great decentralized exchange to trade on with many options.SPV will just enable that non-expert users can use it.

5000 BLOCK is needed in order to run a service node. Staking BLOCK secures the network. The service nodes collect fees which are shared with both the staking and service node pools. The more volume the DX sees, the more BLOCK everyone will earn!

According to the first post of this thread, it's 3,910,516 BLOCK but coinmarketcap mentions 4,217,255 BLOCK.
There is an increasing number of coins, 1 BLOCK generated pr minute that is shared 70/30 between node and stake
Thank you for this. Inflation wise, this is not good.
But I still like Blocknet.
In my opinion, it's a secondary consideration. By staking coins, the real inflation will be close to zero anyways maintaining your relative fraction of the total coins. Proof of stake does require some kind of incentive to keep running the network after all.
If BLOCK succeeds with its project, it'll become a lot more valuable regardless. If they don't, there will be other factors more to blame than the inflation. Well, in a way they've already succeeded as the DX is working with 27 different currencies (I think is the correct number) - what I mean is getting a real liquidity for the DEX (and possibly other applications of the "internet of blockchains").

For few time ago I see the Cosmo project and think is very big project in this stage of crypto-currency era. Today I hear first time about the Blocknet project and I say: Wow! Incredibil! I want to be more near of this project to analize and posible can be part in Blocknet ecosistem. Good work. Good succes!
Blocknet definitely have flew under the radar. When the SPV wallet and UI comes out... watch out! The world will know especially people in China that can't trade alt coins any more.
I await to use the wallet for exchange tokens. You know if SPV and UI wallet come in mobile android version too? Thank you!
