lol i noticed that too like almost 2 weeks ago, it just hasnt been important enough to fix for now, I have been messing with the networking aspect for a bit and want to get that working before i address bugs like that, besides, just think of it like this "That dude is one very skilled pilot to fly hanging outside like that"

Thanks too OldandGrey, I am currently uploading a version for us to test with, hopefully we have better luck tonight than we did last night.

A good thing to mention though is OldandGrey has offered to help with getting multiplayer working. Thanks man.

Think network server should be live but have no way to test. Have sent you details by pm.

Ok I know I said I was working on multiplayer/networking stuff this week in the game, and I have been, but the waiting to be able to test it is driving me crazy so im gonna be making some major landscaping changes.. say goodbye to tons of trees.. i like them being there but the thing is they are making the web build 75mb.. without them it would be much smaller and gameplay would be faster.

Also the reason for removing them is to replace them with new buildings and maybe some in game ad space to have funding to hire some help around here, i know you guys think im doing a great job, but some of this is stressful. A good thing to mention though is OldandGrey has offered to help with getting multiplayer working. Thanks man.

I like that, first time im seeing this too, lol, can't wait to figure out how to link it to the game. Oh by the way OldandGrey I discovered a plugin for unity3d you might be able to use considering you mentioned json the other day, its called "Json in Java" or somethin like that.

No problem, you just pop your values into an array, throw it at the json plugin and if you get a token back (non zero string) you open a URL for the player with certain parameters set.

When the player returns he will click on a button (next?) and you will populate an array with the token, the name of the API call, and again throw it at the plugin. The response string will tell you whether the payment was authorized. After that it's up to you Smiley Easy!!!

Yeah but you still gotta help me, lmao.. im not very good at programming

Coin2 initially demonstrated one way of doing this using tokens in the "Flyer" game. However I am now well advanced in creating a PayPal style API, where a game can pass a payment request to our api which will then open a new screen and allow you to authorise payment to the game in a secure environment. The game will then immediately be able to detect the payment and allow the purchase to go ahead. Likewise payment from the game will also be payable directly into your C2 account.

Just for info, screenshot of screen I am working on.

Nice, that looks good! Smiley

Should make your work a bit easier later down the line, considering i can talk kalisto into actually helping when he has time by writing in game store code instead of suggesting new game engines to me, lol.. idk why he keeps doing it either.. i set my foot down in september and chose to stick with unity3d..

Folks would be good if you could keep an eye on the CoC thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=953121.new#new and help answer any questions on the game. With different time zones the more folk that keep an eye on it the better.

honestly, somehow i missed coc thread, i am on it now

This seems pretty interesting, is it a little bit like huntercoin? You have to play to mine?

No, a different concept. At the moment in the non crypto world there are many games such as runescape etc where you pay to buy in game objects and can sell them to gain in game coinage. However that coin is only of use within that game. Coin2 is looking at providing a simple mechanism where you can use crypto within a game for in game purchases but also then be able to withdraw any excess coin2 or winnings and use in any other game that supports coin2.

At the same time others have been working to develop separate original content games that when finished will also be integrated to the API providing a number of games all with an interchangeable currency. The most prominent of these is the first person shooter - chain of conflict. This is currently available as a playable demo.

Finally the wallet is currently written in such a way that it supports multiple coins in a completely scaleable way. So any coin that requests can quickly and easily be added to the wallet and have access to the games and the ability to market their own items. This supports all involved coins by giving them access to multiple communities to sell their goods, and supports the communities by giving them access to a wider range of good.

So as you can see lots going on and a great community as well.
