http://crc.xpool.net:8830 has been updated to version 1.1.4.

This pool has been running from the start and has never gone down outside of maintenance. Smiley

Throwing 2.3 Mh/s at it now.

http://crc.scryptmining.com is updated with latest code from https://github.com/craftcoin/craftcoin.git

Not sure if this is the updated stuff floating around, its showing the same version # as before, and I'm on the same block as before:

 "blocks" : 9332

If this is accurate, feel free to hit up the pool and get this thing going again!
Cool Smiley
It's bedtime now, but I'll try some more tomorrow

It changes difficulty every 12 blocks.  The next change is at 9336 (it should half).

Quick note: The current (version) status of all of the known CRC pools is unknown at this time.

Well, most pools are dead or gone. Only pool left that I can find is crc.scryptmining.com. No clue whether that's up to date.
I tried to set up my own pool with the new source, but think my CentOS server doesn't have all the required bits and pieces to compile this thing, and I don't know what's needed. Not willing to experiment too much, as it's a production server.

Hey guys, if there is consensus here and new source to grab from the official repo, I'll get crc.scryptmining.com updated shortly.

Trying to solomine, but I guess its pointless?

I don't agree.  With 200 kh/s, (achievable with GPU mining), you would expect to hit a block around once every 5 days (at least according to the litecoin calculator).  If 10 people do that, it would take 12 hours per block.

If you have a nVidia graphics card, then you should search for cuda miner.

The command line is:

cudaminer.exe -o localhost:9223 -O :

You also need to add this to your craftcoin.conf file

Code:
rpcuser=
rpcpassword=
rpcallow=127.0.0.1
rpcport=9223

I am at block 9332 with the 1.1.4 wallet.
According to the previous post, block 9333 should be the valid one?

Trying to solomine, but I guess its pointless?

Using the *.conf file from the first page.

you are caught up. 9333 will be the next block found.

On the plus side, they all have until block 9336 to upgrade.

Just as a quick side note:

As I was performing maintenance last night on CCE, the CRC daemon was updated to the git version that came out last night about 13 hours ago.  Smiley

client 1.1.4 is out of sync.

shall i add addnodes?
or have i to delete something?

If you are at block 9333 you are in sync.
Client tells you it's "out of sync" because no block was found for a few days.

How / when will diff drop? At block 9333? Or?

Every 12 blocks, the next update is 9336 and it should drop by 2 and then drop by 2 again at 9348.

I might be off by 1 here, but it should be:

9333 - 21.37
9334 - 21.37
9335 - 21.37
9336 - 10.69
9335 - 10.69
...
...
9347 - 10.69
9348 - 5.34

At the current rate of around 1 every 2 days, that would take

6 days to get to 9336 (+3)
12 days to get to 9348 (+15)
6 days to get to 9360 (+27)
3 days to get to 9372 (+39)
1.5 days to get to 9284 (+51)

However, maybe people will give it a burst of hashing, once the difficulty drops by 2.

In the spirit of encouraging mining, I sent a transaction with a 10 CRC fee.  Whoever hits 9333 will get that as an additional block reward.

Not a bad idea. I also will be attaching decent fees to the next few blocks. Hopefully this will encourage mining, and get the coin moving again.

Update for pools too?

ok - Hopefully this does the trick

http://spendlitecoins.com/downloads/craftcoin_1.1.4.zip

Sorry for the delay, and big thank you to TierNolan for the help.

Everybody: update your clients and give this a go.

Testing it with clean setup, to see if it downloads the blockchain this time Smiley

edit:Got to block 9332 in just over a minute Smiley

Looks good!
